(Scroll down for video) A man who needed cash to buy cocaine, broke into a post office to steal valuables, according to police in Florida.
Boynton Beach police said that they have arrested 56-year-old Francis Keller, after being accused of breaking into the United States Postal Service branch on Seacrest Boulevard.
Keller has been charged with one count of burglary of an unoccupied structure.
Keller was also charged with armed robbery and armed carjacking in connection with an unrelated incident in which he stole cash from a man and carjacked a 16-year-old boy.
He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail, where he is being held without bail. According to the criminal complaint, police arrived at the post office after the alarm went off.
Officers found Keller inside, and he was using scissors to open packages. Keller told them that he worked for the post office for 30 years and he let himself in using the security code to the front door.
Keller was very intoxicated when he told officers that he planned to steal valuable items to buy crack.
