Several girls have filed complaints after being sexually harassed and assaulted during a party for all those turning 18 years old, according to police in Germany.

Munich police said that the incidents unfolded at city hall during the annual party of all those who turn 18 years old.

One 17-year-old girl was identified as Constanze, claims that a number of young migrants danced aggressively around her and her friends throughout the night.

At one point, the girls told them that they were not interested, but the migrants did not leave them alone and continued the harassment.

When the girls eventually left the dance floor, they were followed by the migrants who grabbed them and tried to drag them to an empty room.

Security guards managed to stop the attack and removed the immigrants from city hall. Another 18-year-old woman was not so fortunate.

The teenager was attacked by an 18-year-old migrant of Syria, who hit her several times while trying to kiss her. The woman managed to flee from her attacker and called the police.

The man was arrested on a charge of sexual assault. Munich Mayor Dieter Reiter condemned the attack, saying that such behavior will not be tolerated.

Reiter also promised to prevent such attacks at future parties.
