A police officer in the United Kingdom, was suspended from his job after it was discovered that he was working as a prostitute.

Sussex Police said that an investigation uncovered that one of their colleagues was selling sex on Adultwork.com, which is an adult services website.

41-year-old PC Daniel Moss, who said that he is bisexual, sold a half-an-hour sex session with himself and his girlfriend Tracey Perryman, 38, for £120 ($152).

On the couple's profile, Tracey wrote: “Look at me and you will think that I am the girl next door. Look at us as a couple, and we are a young energetic couple who you could pass on the street. Get us in the bedroom and we can be as filthy as you want.

“My boyfriend and I were swingers prior to taking up escorting and we thought, why not do something we love as a job.”

Moss had been off from work for about three months due to complaints of stress when he was selling himself for money.

Although the police officer did not break any law by having threesomes with strangers for money in the privacy of his own home, he could still lose his job for “gross misconduct.”

A criminal offense would be to solicit prostitution or to profit from running a brothel or pimping.
