Man uses queen bee hormones to grow beard of bees on his chin

(Scroll down for video) A man in Egypt, who regularly attracts hundreds of bees to his chin, said that he wants to raise awareness that bees are not dangerous.

31-year-old Mohamed Hagras of Menoufia, who worked as an engineer, decided to become a beekeeper after being inspired by a model who showed off a bikini made of bees.

Hagras revealed that many people come to his farm to be bitten by bees in order to cure various diseases. Bees are mainly used for its honey and pollen as well for its medicinal properties.

In order to grow a beard of bees, Hagras extracted hormones from queen bees and uses them to attract bees from the same hive to perform shows.

He uses the same technique to form new beehives. Hagras uses the beard of bees in contests and exhibitions, where like-minded people try to break world records.
