(Scroll down for video) A man was banned from all Panera Bread restaurants after stalking several women and making comments about their feet, according to police in Kansas.
Johnson County police said that they have arrested 45-year-old Michael Montgomery, after being accused of stalking a mother of children in Panera Bread restaurants and commenting about her feet and ankles.
Montgomery pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal trespassing. He was sentenced to a year of probation.
Montgomery has already served 15 days in jail and was also under house arrest for 100 days. A judge ordered him to stay away from the victim and all Panera Bread restaurants.
According to the criminal complaint, Montgomery and the victim were at the Panera Bread in Overland Park at least four different times earlier this year.
The victim said that all four times, Montgomery acted strangely and commented on her feet and ankles. Montgomery is also accused of following the victim outside the restaurant.
Several other women also reported strange encounters with Montgomery over the past few years. He told one of the women that he spent several hours staring at her feet and she had the hottest ankles in the world.
