(Scroll down for video) A pizza delivery woman was shocked to see a nude police officer standing at the door of a home, according to police in New Mexico.
Las Cruces police said that they have charged 28-year-old William Gonzalez, after being accused of opening the door to the woman while he was totally naked.
Gonzalez has been charged with one count of indecent exposure. The officer was placed on administrative leave after being accused of trying to convince a police officer to drop the case.
The pizza delivery woman said that when she delivered food to a house on the 1100 block of Alameda Boulevard around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Gonzalez opened the door.
The woman said Gonzalez made no attempt to cover himself and told her that she had just gotten out of the shower.
However, she noticed that his hair was not wet and that he did not have a towel. When she tried to leave, Gonzalez told her to wait for a tip.
He went into the house and returned naked to the front door with cash. The woman left and filed a complaint with the police.
A police officer came to the suspect’s house and questioned him.
Later that evening, the officer who conducted the investigation, received a call from Gonzalez, asking him to keep the whole thing confidential.
Police also learned that Gonzalez had threatened to expose himself several months before to the same woman. The woman delivered pizza to the same house, where Gonzalez answered the door, wearing only shorts.
Gonzalez apologized after seeing the reaction in her face and told her that he had been dared by his friends to answer the door naked.
Nobody was in the house at the time. The woman works for Domino’s Pizza.
