A man who became annoyed that an elderly woman was typing loudly on her computer, grabbed a gun and fired a single shot into a bathroom, according to police in Florida.

Delray Beach police said that they have arrested 59-year-old Joseph Grigsby, after being accused of scaring the 70-year-old woman by firing his weapon.

Grigsby has been charged with one count of aggravated assault with a firearm. He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail, and his bail has been set at $10,000.

According to the criminal complaint, the incident unfolded on Sunday afternoon, when the 70-year-old woman was typing on a computer in a bedroom while Grigsby sat in another room, where he had been drinking alcoholic beverages all day.

The woman told the police that Grigsby entered the bedroom, lied down on the bed and then complained that she was typing too loudly.

After the woman told him to leave, he got up and left the room.

He later returned with a .80 caliber pistol. He approached the woman and fired the gun into the bathroom.
