(Scroll down for video) A group of revelers in Guatemala, gathered in the streets and burned effigies of U.S. President Elect Donald Trump.

The people who participated in the ceremony, expressed their concern about the policies of Trump, which were made during the election campaign.

Specifically, the people were angry with the proposal to build a wall on the U.S. border with Mexico, despite the fact that their country does not share a border with the U.S.

The revelers were also angry about the pending deportations of illegal immigrants from the United States back to Mexico. Every year, residents celebrate the “La Quema del Diablo,” during which time effigies representing the Devil are burned.

This year, many revelers brought effigies of Donald Trump sporting devil horns. They set fire to the effigies along with piles of fake U.S. dollars and American flags.

People believe that by burning the Devil, they will be able to banish bad and evils spirits from their homes and neighborhoods.
