A woman of Florida, managed to bring a cigarette lighter into her jail cell by hiding it in her body fat.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said that the woman was charged with arson after she lit a roll of toilet paper on fire with the lighter.

37-year-old Amber Koestler was arrested for assaulting her girlfriend at a home on Scranton Street near Fort Walton Beach.

Deputies said that as they were heading to the booking facility, Koestler was combative. She was punching and kicking the door inside the patrol car.

She managed to slip out of her handcuffs, and when deputies opened the door to restrain her, she grabbed the cuffs as if she was going to use them as a weapon, police said.

When officers placed her in handcuffs again, Koestler continued to be combative and attempted to bite a deputy.

A short time after she was escorted to a holding cell, officers smelled smoke and thought it could be the result of an electrical fire.

They began to evacuate the prisoners. They soon discovered that Koestler had set a roll of toilet paper on fire inside her holding cell.

Video surveillance revealed that Koestler had concealed the lighter in the body fat of her buttocks. She retrieved it and then used the lighter to start the fire.

Koestler was charged with felony domestic battery, resisting arrest and arson.
