The mother of a young girl whose home was being raided by police, decided to hide drugs and alcohol under the pillow of the child, according to police in Florida.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said that they have arrested 28-year-old Shannon Jackson, after being accused of hiding a can full of drugs under the pillow of her 3-year-old daughter.
Jackson has been charged with child neglect and drug possession. She was booked into the Stock Island Detention Center, pending a bail hearing.
According to the police investigation, police raided Jackson’s home after obtaining a search warrant. Officers who entered the home found Jackson and her two children in the master bedroom.
During a search of the room, police found a can of spray labeled “All Purpose Cleaner," underneath the girl's pillow. The can, which had an opening on the bottom, contained cocaine, heroin, oxycodone, hydrocodone and Adderall.
There were several small plastic bags inside the can as well.
