A father who was angry that his son did not pay rent, used a tractor to shake a mobile home while his grandson was inside, according to police in Maine.
The York County sheriff's Office said that they have arrested 50-year-old John Bubar, after being accused of endangering his grandson by using the tractor to lift and drop the mobile home.
Bubar has been charged with one count of domestic violence reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon. He was booked into jail, and his bail has been set at $5,000.
According to the police investigation, Bubar asked his son, Michael, 27, for rent. When he refused to pay, Bubar became angry and went to get his tractor.
Michael and his family live in a mobile home on Bubar’s property. Bubar damaged the mobile home with a front loader and a backhoe.
Bubar lifted the mobile home and dropped it multiple times. He only stopped after learning that his 7-year-old grandson was inside the mobile home.
