A man who was angry that his wife told him to leave his house, assaulted a police officer with a sex toy, according to police in Australia.

Burnie police said that they have arrested 53-year-old Ross Richard Gladwin, after being accused of assaulting the female police officer who came to remove him from his home.

Gladwin pleaded guilty to one count of assault. He has been sentenced to serve 5 months in prison.

According to the criminal complaint, Gladwin’s wife called police to remove her husband from the home following an argument.

The female police officer spoke with Gladwin, and tried to convince him to leave the home. Gladwin got up from a couch and began hitting the female police officer with a sex toy.

The officer was hit in the head multiple times. Gladwin lifted her by the ankles and she fell to the ground. She hit her head in a heater and broke her finger.

The officer suffered mild amnesia and headaches for a few weeks.
