A man who was being chased by police after being involved in a hit and run, was caught urinating on highway’s fast lane, according to police in Kentucky.
Whitley County police said that they have arrested 47-year-old Matthew Donnelly, after being accused of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Donnelly has been charged with DUI, wanton endangerment, disorderly conduct and driving without a license. He was booked into the Whitley County Detention Center, and his bail has been set at $1,250.
According to the criminal complaint, around 6:45 p.m. on Monday, police were notified that a Nissan was involved in a hit and run on Interstate 75.
Police searched for the vehicle, and located it on the Interstate 75. Police saw the car stopped in the fast lane with the driver’s side door open.
When the officers approached the vehicle, they noticed Donnelly standing outside the car and urinating on the road. He appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
