A wife will not face any charges despite biting her husband’s testicles during a domestic violence incident, according to police in Indiana.
The Greenwood Police Department said that they have arrested Dan Deaton, after being accused of assaulting his wife Stacy.
Deaton has been charged with one count of battery.
According to the criminal complaint, on Saturday, Deaton and his wife argued in their home located in the 2200 block of Blossom Drive, about his love and loyalty.
Police officers who arrived at the scene, detained Deaton outside of the home. Deaton told police that he was on his way to the police station to report an assault.
Deaton admitted that he sat on his wife to calm her down during the argument. It was at that moment she bit his testicles.
During questioning, Stacy told officers that her husband threw her down the stairs.
The altercation then moved to a room, where Deaton sat on his wife, threw her around the room and put his hands over her mouth and nose.
Stacy said that she bit her husband's testicles in order to break free. Deaton then threw her across the room. Police noticed bruises on Stacy's arms and back as well as carpet burns on both forearms.
