(Scroll down for video) Police launched an investigation after a large group of kids fought one another at McDonald’s, causing damage to the store and angering neighbors, according to police in Australia.

The incident unfolded on Sunday night, at the McDonald’s located in the Tarneit area of Melbourne.

Residents are angry as the group of about 150 kids gather regularly at the McDonald’s before going out and causing havoc in the neighborhood.

Police were called to the McDonald’s around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, and successfully disbursed the 150 kids who were fighting one another.

The kids left behind shattered glass, and food was thrown on the ground. So far, no arrests have been made.

The mother of a 15-year-old boy who works at the McDonald’s, said that she wants her son transferred to a different McDonald’s as she gets harassed every time she picks up her child from work.

Two weeks ago, 40 kids harassed staff and attacked customers at the McDonald’s on Derrimut Road. A resident living near the McDonald’s store said that a group of children tried to kick his mailbox on Sunday night.

His dog barked at them, and they left the scene. Police said that they have stepped up patrols in the area.
