Police in Wisconsin, said that 16-year-old Addison Reed Williams and his family were visiting the area from Port Lucie, Florida.

The family was looking forward to experiencing snow for the first time, according to Lake Delton Police Chief Daniel Hardman.

Williams, his brother, and a friend decided to go sledding on a water park slide at the Mt. Olympus theme park.

The gates were locked as the theme park closed for the season. The teens climbed over a seven-foot fence with their sleds to get inside.

The three then walked up to the top of an 85-foot snow covered water slide.

The 16-year-old boy was the first to slide down. However, halfway down, Williams became stuck. As he wriggled his body to free himself, he fell 35 feet to his death.
