A young woman was shot multiple times while delivering pizza for Papa John's.

The day of the incident, Brooklyn Rouse, 21, of Georgia, was supposed to have the day off from work.

However, she was asked to come in to work to help out with the deliveries. Kindhearted Rouse agreed to go to work.

Rouse was delivering two pies to a home in the Bloomfield neighborhood just after 8:00 p.m., when she was shot in the head, cheek and neck by an armed robber.

After she was shot, Rouse was robbed by the man who was with a female accomplice.

Rouse was taken to a hospital, where she is in critical condition.

Cpl. Linda Howard said that police have arrested the accomplice, Alisha Genva Wilson, 26, on charges of armed robbery, possession of a weapon and criminal attempt to commit a felony.

She is being held without bail. Police are still looking for the shooter, 19-year-old Jacob Elijah Miller. He is wanted on charges of criminal attempt to commit murder, armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The incident came just five days her 23-year-old co-worker, Duncan Siror, was shot in the shoulder while delivering a pizza pie to a home that is one and a half miles away of where she was shot.

He recovered and he went back to his job as a delivery driver for the company.

Regional store manager Frank Hurley, said that they have now suspended delivery to that area due to safety concerns.

He added that while Siror is still working at the location, nine other delivery drivers have quit since the shootings.
