Pregnant women who are taken by donkey to hospitals to give birth and for medical checkups, can now feel safer by using a new seat belt especially designed for expecting mothers by a company based in the United Kingdom.

SaddleAid of Anglesey, announced that pregnant women will now be able to climb the ambulance donkeys equipped with inflatable wraparound frames, which will properly secure them for the duration of the rides.

Donkeys are still regularly used to transport pregnant women in many countries, where there are no paved roads. Many families do not have cars, but have access to a donkey or horse to get to hospitals.

Without proper saddles, the women were at risk of falling and injuring themselves and their unborn children. The seat belts are already being used in Afghanistan, and is set to be used for mothers-to-be in Ethiopia.

The company is now training village leaders to use the saddles. The company also believes that the saddles will benefit people with disabilities who want to ride horses or ponies for fun.

Nicholas Severino Jr.
By: Mahesh Sarin

A law finally caught up with a family after 70 years of defrauding the government.

A man of Trenton, New Jersey, was sentenced to prison for a
seven-decade-long Social Security benefits scheme that was concocted by his father, who died in 1984.

63-year-old Nicholas Severino Jr., of Paulsboro, was sentenced to three years in prison and he was ordered to pay nearly $243,000 in restitution.

Severino pleaded guilty to second-degree theft of property, lost, mislaid or delivered under mistake.

Officials said that the plan began in 1945, when Severino’s father received a Social Security number under the fictitious name of Frank DiCarlo.

The father and son had a joint bank account, where Social Security checks were deposited. When the elder Severino died, Social Security continued to pay the son because there was no record of his death.

The scam unraveled when the Social Security Administration came looking for DiCarlo at his last known address in Camden, when he had reached the age of 100.

The bank account led investigators to his son, and he was arrested.

“Like his father before him, Severino thought he could cheat the system, but we're putting such cheats on notice that their selfish criminal conduct will land them in prison,” said John Hoffman, acting state attorney general.

British man who ordered Kindle from United States gets human tumor instead

The human tumor package
By: Chan Yuan

A man of the United Kingdom, was shocked when he received human body parts instead of the kindle he ordered.

37-year-old James Potten, from Cotham, England, was waiting to receive a waterproof kindle that he ordered from a company in the United States.

However, when he opened the package he received from FedEx, he found a package that read “patient tumor specimen enclosed,”and it actually contained human tissue.

Potten said that the package was supposed to be delivered to the Royal Free Hospital in London. Potten contacted FedEx, and demanded that they pick up the package so that they can immediately deliver it to the hospital.

Potten, who works in environmental consulting, said: “There is a reason the package has been sent from the United States to London, and it could be wasting valuable time while it just stays here.”

Potten said that the last three digits of the FedEx package was the same as his package. When he contacted FedEx, a customer service representative insisted that Potten got the right package and they refused to pick it up.

Potten then reached out to the hospital. They got FedEx to correct the problem.

A spokesperson for the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust said: “It has been brought to our attention that a package intended for one of the institutions based at Royal Free Hospital, was delivered to an address in Bristol.

“We understand the parcel delivery company is in the process of redelivering the package to the correct address.

“If the Royal Free London was the intended recipient, we will await answers from the delivery company as to how this mistake was made.”

Potten ordered the Kindle from a U.S. company called Waterfi, which buys electronic devices and they apply waterproofing substances before selling them to customers.

Mountain lion has teeth growing from its head

The lion
By: Wayne Morin

A mountain lion left experts with a lot of questions after it was found with teeth on its head.

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game shared some facts regarding the mountain lion and its unusual deformity.

They said that a young male mountain lion was legally harvested in the Weston.

The mountain lion was observed attacking a dog on a landowner's property. The mountain lion ran off and its tracks were followed through other properties and eventually retreated to the hills.

“Within three hours of the attack, the hunter began tracking the mountain lion with the use of hounds and harvested the animal legally that same day,” the Idaho Department of Fish and Game said.

The dog involved in the attack survived.

The mountain lion was found to have an unusual deformity of fully formed teeth and what appears to be small whiskers were growing out of hard fur-covered tissue on the left side of the animal's forehead.

Idaho Fish and Game said that it is possible that the teeth could be the remnants of a conjoined twin that died in the womb and was absorbed into the other fetus. It is also possible that deformity was a teratoma tumor.

These kinds of tumors are composed of tissue from which teeth, hair, and even fingers and toes can develop. They are rare in humans and animals.

Biologists from the southeast region of the Idaho Fish and Game, have never seen anything like this particular deformity before.
