(Scroll down for video) A mother of Alaska, shared a photo of a 6-year-old McDonald’s Happy Meal, which shows the food still looking fresh.
Jennifer Lovdahl of Anchorage, bought the Happy Meal six years ago,and left it sit in order to see what will happen.
She did it as part of an experiment to determine how durable the food really is. After six years, the chicken nuggets and French fries are still looking pretty fresh.
The food has not rotten, molded, or decomposed at all. It only smells of cardboard.
“It's been 6 years since I bought this ‘Happy Meal’ at McDonald's. It's been sitting at my office this whole time and has not rotted, molded, or decomposed at all.
“It smells only of cardboard. I did this experiment to show patients how unhealthy this food is, especially for our growing children.
“There are so many chemicals in this food. Choose real food, like apples, bananas, carrots, and celery. Those are the real fast foods,” Lovdahl wrote on Facebook.
Lovdahl owns and operates Balanced Health Chiropractic.
