Jennifer Lovdahl of Anchorage, bought the Happy Meal six years ago,and left it sit in order to see what will happen.

She did it as part of an experiment to determine how durable the food really is. After six years, the chicken nuggets and French fries are still looking pretty fresh.

The food has not rotten, molded, or decomposed at all. It only smells of cardboard.

“It's been 6 years since I bought this ‘Happy Meal’ at McDonald's. It's been sitting at my office this whole time and has not rotted, molded, or decomposed at all.

“It smells only of cardboard. I did this experiment to show patients how unhealthy this food is, especially for our growing children.

“There are so many chemicals in this food. Choose real food, like apples, bananas, carrots, and celery. Those are the real fast foods,” Lovdahl wrote on Facebook.

Lovdahl owns and operates Balanced Health Chiropractic.

Psychic sends identical letters from heaven to many customers

By: Tanya Malhotra

A grieving woman in Scotland, is angry after learning that she had been scammed by a psychic.

47-year-old Karen Brannigan paid £38 ($55) to a psychic who goes by the name Lillyanne, in hopes of hearing from her late mother.

Brannigan of Glasgow, soon received a letter that was allegedly from her late mother. However, she soon realized that other customers had received the exact same message from their deceased loved ones.

After being confronted, a spokesperson for Lillyanne said that it was an “administrative error” and that means a letter had accidentally been sent to multiple clients.

Brannigan said that she first saw Lillyanne on a television program and she later contacted her through her Facebook page, which has more than 150,000 followers.

Brannigan said that her mother recently died and she “became caught up in it. My husband thought I was crazy, but I just wanted to try.”

However, Brannigan became suspicious of the letter that she received in the mail because the things written in the letter was not what her mother would have said.

It included vague messages about her mother loving her, a new baby being born in the family, someone getting a tattoo and that her favorite flowers were yellow. “My mum hated flowers,” she said. “There was nothing in it that stood out to me.”

Brannigan reached out to other clients and learned that they received the same letter “from their deceased loved ones.”

Brannigan was offered a refund and a free reading, which she did not accept.

In response to the scandal, Lillyanne took to Facebook, where she wrote: “Recently, we had to terminate the contract of a corrupt administrator of this page as the work she was doing for us wasn't up to standard. After this, we became aware that a small number of readings were sent to our clients that were similar to other readings that other people had received.

“How it works is Lillyanne prepares the heaven letters, sends them to administrators who then forward these to the people who have booked.

“The corrupt administrators sent similar readings to a very small number of clients. As soon as we became aware of this, we rectified the problem within 24 hours and gave refunds or re-booked the affected people.”

"My grandmother had been looking for a long time," said Miccio, 32, who now lives with her husband and three children. "She had never tried the Internet, so I started going through different sites."

The breakthrough finally came when Miccio made contact with a distant relative of Morrell through, who connected her with her grandmother’s sister, Millie Hawk.

Selfies are causing people to believe they have horse teeth

Woman taking selfie (illustration)
By: Tanya Malhotra

(Scroll down for video) Dentists in the United Kingdom, have issued a warning about taking too many selfies as the distorted views of the pictures cause people to believe that they have horse teeth.

Tim Bradstock-Smith, who is the clinical director of the London Smile Clinic, said that the selfies are causing people to suffer from dental dysmorphia.

A group of dental surgeons said that they are seeing an increase in the number of people who want to correct what they mistakenly believe are horse teeth, not realizing that their phones are creating the distorted pictures.

The problem is that the image is taken very close to the teeth, so the picture may be distorted. The front teeth often appear more prominent than they are in real life.

As the teeth are the main focus of the picture, people are increasingly driven to make them look better. While these photos will undoubtedly exaggerate the defects, they can also be misleading.

Dr. Bradstock-Smith said that selfies became the most popular way for women to assess their looks, especially as they now use them to apply their makeup.

He said that he has to turn away several patients a week who were looking for unnecessary treatments.

Dentists have seen an increase of 30 percent over the past five years in the number of patients who send in selfies with concerns about the appearance of their front teeth.

However, when those patients come in person, often the teeth do not look bad at all.

Poisonous snake found sleeping in children’s cot at day care center

Snake sleeping on children's cot
By: Chan Yuan

Employees at a day care center freaked out after finding a poisonous snake sleeping in a children's cot, a snake catcher in Australia said.

Barry Goldsmith, who is a snake catcher in Victoria, said that one of the day care workers was taking the sheets off the cot when the snake fell in front of her.

The snake was very poisonous, but not as toxic as a brown or tiger snake. The snake could have slipped through an open door or a crack.

It is possible that a child had been eating a sandwich while sitting on the cot, which could have attracted the snake.

While a snake in a cot sounds alarming, Goldsmith said that he had been to a number of schools and day care centers to remove snakes as children leave crumbs of food behind, which attracts mice, and the mice attracts snakes.

When the day care workers found the snake, they immediately left the room and closed the door. Goldsmith arrived at the scene, and removed the snake.

“Had a red bellied black snake trying get some sleep in a cot at a child care center. Staff were making the beds when they came across the snake.

“They handled the situation well, stepped back, shut the doors and laid towels along the crack at the door and called me. The snake was very relaxed and inoffensive, and still lying on the bed where it was found when I arrived.

“30 minutes later the snake was in the bag and no one was hurt. Fortunately, the staff had enough common sense to know what to do. If they had tried to catch or kill the snake themselves, it could have been bad,” Goldsmith wrote on Facebook.
