New app ‘Homemade’ allows chefs to sell homemade food to hungry customers

(Scroll down for video) People who love to cook at home, are now able to earn some extra cash thanks to a new app called Homemade.

Homemade connects hungry customers to delicious homemade, locally cooked food.

Consumers who miss the taste of their grandmothers’ food, can now find them on Homemade.

The founders of Homemade, said that they are building a marketplace for cooks to produce and sell food directly from their homes.

Homemade was designed to bring the cooks’ food and personal stories to the forefront, allowing customers to connect with the cooks on a much more personal level than a traditional dining experience.

Homemade allows the cooks to sell food directly to consumers from their homes. Chefs using the app say that they are surprised by the number of people willing to buy food from strangers.

One woman reported that she is earning $250 a week, by selling pizzas on Homemade.

Husband comes home to find priest having sex with his wife

A husband was shocked to find a well-known priest in Nigeria, having sex with his wife in the bedroom of their house.

Vitalis Okere of Lagos, said that he came home early from work one day last week, and found the priest identified as Victor, having sex with his wife Chidinma.

The couple’s 11-year-old daughter allegedly told her father about Victor, as he always came over to the home whenever her father left for work.

The girl didn't like the fact that Chidinma spent time locked inside the bedroom with the priest, so she decided to tell her father.

On the day the priest was caught with his pants down, Okere dressed up and pretended to leave for work. He hid outside until he saw Victor going into his house.

After a few minutes, Okere stormed into the bedroom, where he found his wife and the priest naked in bed. The priest was shocked to see his lover’s husband, and he quickly fled from the scene, leaving his clothes behind.

Okere filed a complaint with the police.

Two 15-year-old girls who were lovers found dead on school campus in murder suicide

(Scroll down for video) Two teenage girls were found dead of gunshot wounds on school campus in a suspected murder suicide, police in Arizona said.

Glendale police said that they were called to the Independence High School, where they found the two dead 15-year-old girls.

Police found the weapon near the girls as well as a suicide note. Shots were reported around 8:00 a.m., when the first classes were scheduled to begin.

Officers who arrived at the scene found the two girls, each suffering from a single gunshot wound.

Investigators said that the evidence found at the scene leads them to believe that one girl shot and killed the other before taking her own life.

Detectives learned that the girls were close friends, and seemed to be lovers. As a precaution, police locked down the school.

This girls were identified as Dorothy Dutiel and May Kieu.

Dog freezes to the ground after owner chained it to a tree and abandoned it in park

(Scroll down for video) A woman in New York, saved an abandoned dog’s life after she found it frozen to the ground in a park.

Jennifer Williams said that she was walking her dog in Prospect Park in Brooklyn on Friday morning, when her pet ran to a tree.

When she reached her pet, she found an unresponsive dog chained to a tree. She wrapped the dog in a coat and picked it up from the ground.

She then noticed blood on the dog’s paws as they froze to the ground from the extremely cold temperatures. Williams then called Sean Casey, who owns Sean Casey Animal Rescue, and he came over to take the dog.

Veterinarians are treating the dog's paws and are trying to treat various other ailments. The dog was put up for adoption.

Wife beats up her husband who admitted to using an adult toy on himself

A married woman was arrested on a charge of battery after allegedly beating her husband because he had an adult toy in his possession, police in Florida said.

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 48-year-old Chao Gao, after being accused of assaulting her husband Joshua Sinclair.

Gao, who runs a day care, was charged with one count of domestic battery.

According to the police investigation, while Gao and Sinclair were preparing to move into a new home, she found an adult toy among his possessions.

When Gao asked her husband why he has the toy, he replied that he uses it on himself. The wife became furious, and began to pinch and slap her husband.

The attack lasted for more than 30 minutes. The husband then called the police to report the abuse. Police officers who arrived at the scene, observed bruises on Sinclair.

Gao had no signs of injuries.

83-year-old man stabs his neighbor who warned him to not let his dog run around the neighborhood

An elderly man stabbed his neighbor who warned him to keep his dog locked inside his home and not let it run around the neighborhood, police in Japan said.

Kumamoto police said that they have arrested 83-year-old Mitsuyoshi Kushimura, after being accused of stabbing his 70-year-old neighbor, who was not identified.

Kushimura was charged with one count of aggravated assault.

According to the police investigation, Kushimura stabbed his 70-year-old neighbor around 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, following an argument about the suspect’s dog.

The victim warned the suspect to keep his dog in his house and not let it run around the neighborhood. In response, Kushimura pulled a knife and stabbed the neighbor in the chest.

The neighbor was taken to a hospital, and he is said to be in good condition.

During questioning, Kushimura admitted to stabbing his neighbor because he was angry that he complained about his dog.

Manager puts on mask and attempts to rob his own restaurant before being caught

(Scroll down for video) A restaurant manager was arrested on a charge of attempted murder after allegedly trying to rob his own business while he was off duty, police in Japan said.

Saga police said that they have arrested 22-year-old Takashi Sato, after being accused of putting on a mask, entering his own restaurant and demanding cash from employees.

He was charged with one count of attempted robbery. Sato was also charged with embezzlement in an unrelated incident.

According to the police investigation, Sato entered the restaurant wearing a mask and sunglasses while he was off duty on Friday around 1:00 a.m.

He pulled out a knife and threatened employees with it while demanding money. One of the employees became suspicious and asked the robber if he was Sato.

Sato took off his mask and told employees to watch out for robbers. He then left the scene without any money. Police were called and Sato was arrested the following day as he reported for work.

18-year-old woman kills couple and unborn baby over hair extensions

(Scroll down for video) Two teenagers of Memphis, Tennessee, were arrested over the death of a couple and their unborn baby.

One woman is accused of robbing the couple while the other woman acted as the getaway driver.

Shelby Isaac, 18, was charged with three counts of first-degree murder. Victoria Seay, also 18, was charged with accessory after the fact.

Isaac met EJ Tate to buy hair extensions. He and his cousin ran a business that sells high-end hair extensions, which are worth up to $250 each.

However, instead of paying for the items, Isaac allegedly killed Tate and his girlfriend Edwina Thomas, who was pregnant.

According to witnesses, Isaac went through the pockets of Tate after she shot him and then escaped to the getaway car.

Band members and their manager die after their car plunged into canal

(Scroll down for video) Four members of an up and coming band in the United Kingdom, died along with their manager after the car that was transporting them crashed into a canal.

The Viola Beach band of Warrington, Cheshire, died just hours after playing their first ever gig outside of the country.

Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Tomas Lowe, Jack Dakin and their manager Craig Tarry, all aged between 20 and 33, died on impact.

The group had performed in Norrkoping, Sweden, before they got into the car that was hired to drive them around. The car crashed into the Sodertalje canal about 2:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Police said that the driver passed a security barrier of the bridge, which was closed, to allow a boat to sail through. The car plunged 82 feet into the canal below.

Witness Jonny Alexandersson said that while he was waiting for the boat to pass and the bridge to reopen, the group’s car suddenly drove past him and smashed into the barrier.

Alexandersson said that the driver was going about 45 to 50 miles per hour before he plunged into the gap that was left open for the boat to pass.

15-year-old girl sneaks out of house to have sex with man she met on Instagram

A man was arrested after he was caught with a naked underage girl in his car.

A police officer in Georgia, who was patrolling near a school, caught a minor in a car with an older teen.

Police Cpl. Louis Cook found the teens naked at 1:45 a.m., behind the North Augusta High School.

The girl, 15, confessed that she met 19-year-old Davion Turner, online and wanted to have sex with him. Police said that the teens were in the backseat of a blue Chevrolet Impala that was parked behind a bus in the school’s parking lot.

Turner attempted to start the car when he saw the police car approaching, according to the police report.

Cpl. Cook called for additional officers. When two officers arrived, they approached the car. By that time, Turner was in the driver's seat and the girl was in the back seat. She was not wearing her shirt or bra. A used condom and other articles of clothes were lying on the floor, police said.

Turner told police that he met the girl through mutual friends on Instagram, and talked with her for only a month. Their sexual encounter on Sunday, came after the first time they met in person.

When police interviewed the girl, she confessed that she wanted to have sex with Turner, and she called him and asked to meet him.

The man agreed and picked her up from her house after she snuck out without her parents’ knowledge. The man told police that he felt “uneasy” about the encounter and he stopped it, but not before touching her.

The girl also told police that they did not have sex, but they did “mess around.”

Police called the mother of the girl, who took her daughter to the hospital for a physical examination, according to the police report.

Turner was charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the third-degree. He was booked into the Aiken County Jail.

12-year-old girl killed in front of twin sister while crossing busy road to get to school

(Scroll down for video) A family in New York, is heartbroken over the sudden loss of a 12-year-old girl.

Gabrielle Johnson of Elton, Long Island, was walking to school with her twin sister when she was struck by a passing car.

The seventh grade girl was killed on Monday morning, while running across the road to get to school with her twin sister Courtney.

The 12-year-old girl was hit by a car around 7:30 a.m., while running across the road to get to the Elmont Memorial Junior-Senior High School.

Police said that the victim was crossing the busy street with her twin sister and another girl, but they did not use a crosswalk. A car that had a green light did not see the girls before it was too late.

The 38-year-old driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with police, and is not expected to be charged with a crime.

Gabrielle Johnson’s older sister Paula, said that they lost their little brother in 2002 to a drunk driver, and now Gabby's gone, she said.

Father and 4-year-old son die after falling into icy lake while fishing with friends

(Scroll down for video) A family is grieving the loss of a father and his young son who were inseparable.

The father and his four-year-old son of Michigan, died after falling through ice on a lake while on a fishing trip with friends, according to police.

David Michael Lyons, 30, and his son Jackson, were about 10 feet from shore when they fell through the ice of Lake Alderman, which is located about 40 miles from Detroit.

Police said that the father and son were under water for about 15 minutes before they were pulled out by a team of divers.

The two were rushed to a hospital, but both died a few hours apart. Facebook photos show the father and son doing many activities together.

The Assistant Highland Township fire chief said that the father and son were wearing snowmobile suits, which became heavy in the water. They did not wear life jackets.

(Scroll down for video) A customer at a Waffle House in Arkansas, was disgusted after finding hair in his food.

Antonio Robinson said that he was eating with his friend at the Waffle House in Forrest City, when his friend suddenly began coughing.

The man then pulled strings of long hair out of his mouth. That is when Robinson went to the kitchen and took a cellphone video of an employee doing her hair in the kitchen.

The video shows the woman putting her pair into a pot. After pulling her hair out, it was wet. Another employee helped her dry her hair using a company towel.

After uploading the video to social media, the female worker was fired. The health department said that doing hair in a restaurant kitchen is a health violation.

However, a health inspector found that the Waffle House was clean and up to code.

49-year-old man impregnates girlfriend’s 15-year-old daughter

A mother of Georgia, was unhappy when she learned that her young daughter was pregnant.

However, she was furious when her teenage daughter informed her that she was impregnated by the man her mother was dating.

49-year-old Keena Vinell Crawford allegedly had sex with the girl while he was her mother’s boyfriend. The couple is no longer together.

The mother told police that she learned about the illicit relationship after receiving a text message from her daughter, saying that she believed that she was pregnant.

When her mother questioned her about the father of the child, she admitted to having sex with her mother’s former boyfriend.

Police were called to the Georgia Regents University Hospital to take a report of rape of a 15-year-old girl. Hospital staff said that the girl is 16 weeks pregnant.

Crawford was arrested on charges of two counts of child molestation and one count of statutory rape. The last charge suggests that the girl was not forcefully raped, but was not legally able to consent because of her age.

Government worker receives purses and clothes to create fake ID

A woman of Georgia, was arrested after accepting gifts in exchange for creating a fake ID.

According to police, 52-year-old Gladys Williams of 2329 Cadden Road in Augusta, created a fake ID and handed over personal information from other people in exchange for gifts.

Williams worked for the Georgia Department of Driver Services for 17 years, but she was fired after her arrest, a spokesperson for the agency said.

Williams is accused of creating a fake ID and passing on the personal information in exchange for purses and clothes, according to police.

Williams was charged bribery, computer invasion of privacy, computer forgery, computer theft and violation of oath by public officer.

Man sells iPhone boxes filled with rice to unsuspecting buyers

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on a charge of fraud after allegedly selling iPhone boxes filled with rice instead of phones, police in Canada said.

Toronto police said that they have arrested 21-year-old Gyimah Andrews Boateng, after being accused of filing iPhone boxes with ice and passing them off as new iPhones.

Boateng was charged with two counts of fraud, two counts of false pretense and two counts of breach of court order.

According to the police investigation, Boateng advertised iPhones for sale on the website Kijiji.

A 20-year-old man agreed to buy an iPhone, and after handing over an undisclosed amount of cash, Boateng gave him an iPhone box.

When the victim got home, he opened the box and found that it was filled with rice. Police said that the same thing happened to a 27-year-old man.

Husband beats his wife to death because she ignored his phone calls

Police are looking for a man who beat his wife to death because she ignored his phone calls while he was out drinking with his friends, police in Zimbabwe said.

Masvingo police said that Timothy Chiminya, allegedly used a sharp object to strike his 23-year-old wife Delight Mutuvira.

Chiminya fled from the scene of the murder, and he remains at large.

According to the police investigation, around 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, Chiminya came home and confronted his wife about not answering his phone calls.

Mutuvira claimed that the phone was charging and she didn't hear it ringing. Chiminya grabbed a sharp object and hit his wife over the head several times.

He then fled from the scene.

Neighbors who heard the commotion rushed over to the home, and found the woman lying on the ground with severe injuries to her head.

The woman was taken to the Masvingo General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Prostitute accuses married man of rape after he refused to pay her $5 service fee

A married man was arrested on a charge of rape after a woman accused him of raping her while she walked to her home, police in Zimbabwe said.

However, 28-year-old Mthokozisi Nkomo of Old Pumula, claims that the woman, who was not identified, made up the story because he did not pay her $5 for the sexual services he received.

Nkomo told investigators that he met the prostitute on Saturday night, and she agreed to have sex with him in exchange for $5.

They both went to her home, where they spent the night together. When he awoke in the morning, Nkomo went through his wallet and realized that it was empty.

Nkomo said that he does not know what happened to his money because he was drunk. When told the woman that he cannot pay her, she became very angry and called the police.

However, the woman told investigators an entirely different story. She said that as she was walking home, Nkomo approached her and asked where she was going.

He then volunteered to walk her home. After walking for a short distance, the defendant dragged the woman into a dark alleyway and ordered her to undress.

He then raped her. When Nkomo left, the woman called the police to file a complaint.

Vatican reinstates priest who was convicted of sexually assaulting 14-year-old girl

The victims of a pedophile priest are angry after the Vatican lifted his suspension despite pleading guilty to sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl.

61-year-old Joseph Palanivel Jeyapaul of India, has been reinstated after serving time in prison for sexually abusing the 14-year-old girl in Minnesota.

The priest was also accused of sexually assaulting another 14-year-old girl, but the charges were dropped as part of a plea bargain agreement with prosecutors.

The Vatican suspended the priest following his conviction.

However, after being released from prison, Jeyapaul moved back to India, where he was reinstated.

The attorney for the priest’s two victims, Jeff Anderson, said that he is preparing to take legal action to have the priest barred from having contact with children.

3 men murder 14-year-old boy because they wanted his 14-year-old girlfriend for themselves

(Scroll down for video) Three men were arrested on a charge of murder after killing a teenage boy because they were jealous of his girlfriend, police in the United Kingdom said.

Now, 19-year-old George Thomson of Carlisle, and 19-year-old Brahnn Finley of Carlisle, have been convicted of murder.

20-year-old Daniel Johnston of Carlisle, has been convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to serve 10 years in prison.

Thomson was sentenced to serve 27 years in prison, while Finley was sentenced to serve 14 years in prison.

According to the police, officers were called to a cemetery on Manor Road, by a member of the public who had found a male body.

The body was later identified as 14-year-old Jordan Watson of Ridley Road. A pathologist determined that the cause of death was multiple wounds to the head and neck caused by a sharp instrument.

A court heard that the boy suffered a savage and brutal attack after being lured to the cemetery by Thomson, motivated by jealousy over Watson’s 14-year-old girlfriend with whom Thomson was attempting to have a relationship.

Thomson had an obsession with Watson’s 14-year-old girlfriend and would stop at nothing to have her for himself.

Finley agreed to help Thomson out and he took his best friend Johnston along to carry out the murder.
