Facebook slapped with lawsuit for sending happy birthday text messages

A man who claimed that Facebook had no right to send him happy birthday text messages, is seeking $1,500 in compensation for each message that reached his cellphone, according to court documents in Florida.

Colin Brickman of Tampa, told the court that Facebook’s birthday text messages violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, which restricts telemarketers and robocalls.

Brickman claimed that Facebook never obtained permission to send text messages to his cellphone, but nevertheless sent them to him.

Facebook sends messages to users who gave them their cellphone number.

Brickman is seeking class action status to get compensations for other users of Facebook who received unsolicited birthday text messages.

Ultrasound shows unborn baby punching his own face as parents love Ultimate Fighting Championships

(Scroll down for video) The parents of an unborn baby in Kansas, were shocked to watch as their fetus punched himself in the face during an ultrasound.

Vanessa and Dave Watson of Wichita, said that after seeing their unborn baby boy punching himself in the face, they decided to upload the footage to YouTube.

The parents revealed that this was the first ultrasound of the baby. After learning that they are having a boy, they decided to name him Edward James Watson.

The video, which has since gone viral, shows Edward James punching his face with such force that his entire body moved backwards.

Vanessa said that she could not believe her eyes. The technician who took the ultrasound, said that this was the first time she had seen something like this.

The parents were very concerned for the health of their unborn child, but they were assured that Edward James is perfectly healthy.

The parents revealed that they love watching Ultimate Fighting Championships, therefore they believe that Edward James might have picked up some moves.

Mother of two children killed by her dog she adopted a week earlier

(Scroll down for video) A mother of two children died after she was viciously attacked by the dog she adopted just a week earlier, police in North Carolina said.

The Perquimans County Sheriff’s Office said that 36-year-old Suzanne Story, was mauled by her pit bull while she was cleaning its crate.

The incident unfolded around 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, in the 1200 block of Snug Harbor Road. According to the police investigation, Story got the pit bull named Buddy, about a week ago after seeing an ad in a newspaper.

The ad said that the dog was good with small children. The previous owner of the dog was identified as Cheryl Davino Norfolk.

The mother of the woman said that Story was cleaning the dog’s crate at the time of the attack. Story’s sister was home when the dog attacked and she tried to stop it, but could not.

The sister suffered light injuries. Paramedics who arrived at the scene, confirmed that Story was dead. Story left behind two daughters aged 15 and 17.

Animal control officers took the dog into custody, and it will be euthanized on Thursday.

Husband slices his wife’s breasts and cuts his manhood because she cheated on him with his brother

An angry husband in Kenya, flew into a rage after discovering that his wife had an affair with his brother.

Doctors at the Thika Level 5 Hospital, said that 24-year-old Duncan Moseti of Thika, cut off his own manhood after cutting the breasts of his wife.

The husband and wife were hospitalized.

20-year-old Margaret Achieng suffered light wounds after her husband used a knife to cut her breasts while she slept around 3:00 a.m.

Moseti however, is in critical condition after severing his manhood with a knife. He is expected to survive. Once he recovers, he will be arrested and charged with assault, police said.

According to the police investigation, Mosetti cut his wife’s breasts while she was asleep. As a result of the attack, Mosetti woke up and felt excruciating pain.

She immediately shouted for help, and neighbors came to her aid. Mosetti then cut off his manhood and threatened to kill their child.

Mosetti’s brother denied allegations that he was having an affair with Achieng.

Wife watches her husband rape his 4-year-old niece

A husband and wife were arrested on a charge of rape after the alleged rape of their 4-year-old niece, police in Zimbabwe said.

Harare police said that they have arrested the 29-year-old husband and his 30-year-old wife, who were not identified, after the husband raped his niece while the wife watched.

They were both charged with one count of rape. They were booked into jail, and they were denied bail.

According to the police investigation, the wife lured her niece to her home before sending her into the bedroom, where her husband waited for her.

The wife then stood at the door to make sure that nobody disturbs her husband as he raped the girl. The incident came to light after the girl's grandmother noticed that the child is having a difficult time walking.

She asked her what happened, and the girl revealed that her uncle raped her.

Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a female reporter during a live television broadcast, police in Germany said.

Cologne police said that the incident unfolded on Thursday, as the woman was reporting about the annual Women’s Carnival for a television station in Belgium.

Esmeralda Labye said that while she was reporting, three young men approached her from behind and made obscene gestures.

One man gave her a kiss on the neck. Another man then whispered a proposition in her ear. Finally, one of the three men touched her chest before they all fled from the scene.

So far, no arrests have been made. The mayor of the city, apologized to the reporter and offered her police protection for future broadcasts.

15-year-old KFC workers hide in freezer while armed robbers raid restaurant with machetes

(Scroll down for video) Police are looking for two armed robbers after they raided a KFC and assaulted a 15-year-old employee, police in Australia said.

Sydney police said that the incident unfolded on Saturday night around 9:30 p.m.

Two men armed with machetes entered the KFC and demanded money from an employee before hitting her over the head.

Both robbers left the store empty-handed.

The injured employee was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Nepean Hospital for treatment of a minor head injury.

The robbers were described as thin to medium build, and they were wearing dark clothes.

15-year-old Michelle Ereck, an employee at the KFC, said that she helped hide other teen employees in the freezer in an attempt to protect them from the thieves.

Ereck and all other 15-year-old girls locked themselves inside the freezer until the thieves left from the store.

Man breaks into woman’s house numerous times to drink her alcoholic beverages

A man was arrested on a charge of burglary after breaking into a woman’s home and drinking her alcoholic beverages, police in the United Kingdom said.

Now, 54-year-old James Reid of Perth, has been ordered to complete 50 hours of community service after being convicted of burglary for breaking into the home of Vikki Banks, and stealing her alcoholic beverages numerous times.

A court heard how Banks installed a hidden camera in her home after her alcoholic beverages went missing numerous times.

She told investigators that she once found an empty bottle of alcohol on the living room table.

After reviewing the footage on the surveillance camera, Banks was surprised to see that Reid had been breaking in and out of her home for drinks.

To cover his tracks, Reid replaced alcohol with water and closed the door behind him.

Reid had discovered a house key hidden under a rock outside the property, and used it to enter the house on a number of occasions.

Plumber strips naked in front of his female customers after being called for repairs

A plumber was arrested on a charge of mischief after allegedly stripping naked in front of female customers who called him for repairs in their homes, police in Canada said.

Tilbury police said that they have arrested 55-year-old Ron Reaume, after being accused of getting naked in front of several women while doing repairs in their homes.

Reaume, who owns and operates Ron Reaume’s Plumbing, was charged with one count of mischief. He was released from jail without bail.

According to the police investigation, on Wednesday, a woman who had no hot water, contacted Reaume for help. Reaume came to the house and stripped naked in front of the woman before putting on his work clothes.

After completing his work, Reaume undressed again and put his clothes back on. He then gave the woman a receipt and left the residence.

Police believe that this was not the first time Reaume undressed in the presence of a client.

Monkey arrested for stealing food and ripping pillows

A monkey that had been causing havoc, was arrested by police after being accused of stealing food from residents for the past six months, police in India said.

The incident unfolded in Sion, and residents cheered as police handcuffed and shackled the monkey.

The monkey's neck was tied with a rope before being dragged into a cage.

Residents said that the captured monkey was one of three that have been roaming around the neighborhood and causing havoc.

The monkeys were seen in garbage bins, offices and roofs, where they looked for food. The monkeys even attack people for food.

On Friday morning, residents saw a monkey breaking into a home before ripping up some pillows. They called a monkey catcher who retained the monkey and handed it over to the police.

The monkey will be released into the countryside north of Mumbai.

An official from the Forest Department said that the monkey will only be released into the wild after it is determined that it will be able to survive in the wild.

ISIS fighters rape 4 married women before stoning them to death for committing adultery

Four women were arrested on a charge of adultery after being raped by raped by ISIS fighters in Iraq.

Human rights activists in Mosul, said that ISIS police raided the home of the four women and dragged them to court, where they were sentenced to death.

The four women were stoned to death in a public ceremony on Thursday.

A human rights group decried the murders of the innocent women, saying that they had been raped by ISIS fighters before being accused of adultery.

In court, judges heard how these four married women committed adultery, but were not told that the sexual encounter was rape by ISIS fighters.

28 women break out of prison after getting guards drunk and tying them up for sex session

(Scroll down for video) A group of female prison inmates managed to bust out of jail after getting the male guards drunk and tying them up for a sex session, police in Brazil said.

The incident unfolded around 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, at the Nova Mutum public jail.

Three male prison guards were found in handcuffs and sexy lingerie were lying on the ground when police came to investigate the prison break.

According to the police investigation, three women arrived at the prison and asked to be let inside to chat and drink. The prison guards let them in and the three women persuaded the men to have sex in one of the bedrooms.

After drugging the guards with spikes alcohol, the women handcuffed them, took their keys and opened all the prison cells.

The prisoners fled and took along weapons and ammunition.

The three prison guards have been arrested, and will be charged facilitating a jailbreak and embezzlement. So far, 8 of the 28 escaped prisoners had been recaptured.

Father flies to the United States to walk daughter down aisle but goes missing during wedding reception

(Scroll down for video) A family was very excited to fly to the United States for their loved one’s wedding.

However, the bride and her family are now very concerned after her father went missing during the wedding reception.

The 55-year-old father of the bride came from India, to celebrate the wedding of his daughter Durga Moparti, in California.

The wedding was held at the historic Grand Island Mansion, which overlooks the Sacramento River and rows of orchards.

After walking his daughter down the aisle, Prasad Moparti went outside for a walk and was not seen again. The family is very concerned over his well-being.

Instead of going on a honeymoon, the bride along with many wedding guests stayed in the area to search for the father. Divers were called to the area to search in the water, but so far, he was not found.

The family has posted flyers of the missing person, and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Bride runs out of wedding car in middle of road before beating groom with her flowers

A bride and groom were seen fighting in the middle of the road on the streets of Russia.

The newlyweds of Tula, did not even make it home from their wedding before they got into a massive fight in public.

Video of the incident that was recorded on the dashcam of another car, shows the bride and groom having a public confrontation.

As the car stopped at a red light, the bride, who was still in her gown and holding her flowers, jumped out of the car in the middle of the road.

The bride was clearly upset with her new husband. The groom followed her out of the car and tried to get her back inside, but she refused.

Passersby looked as the couple argued, but quickly went on their way without intervening.

The groom then grabbed her arm and attempted to drag her into the waiting car. The bride then hit the groom with her wedding flowers before throwing it at him and storming off.

The video ended with the groom getting back into the car and closing the door.

Woman knocks husband unconscious with baseball bat because he did not get her a Valentine's day gift

A woman of Ohio, was arrested after beating her husband for not buying her a gift.

Washington County police said that the woman assaulted her husband during an argument because he did not bring her a Valentine's Day gift.

Sheriff's deputies said that about 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, the man suffered various injuries.

The man told police that his wife, 46-year-old Kimberly Hammond, began beating him and scratching his face during a verbal altercation.

She then grabbed a mini baseball bat and hit him in the back of the head, knocking him unconscious. Hammond continued attacking her husband until he regained consciousness, police said.

Hammond said that she was upset because her husband did not buy her gift on Valentine's Day.

The woman admitted to drinking, and she had a blood alcohol level of .221. Hammond was arrested on charges of criminal assault and domestic violence.

Man leaves girlfriend angry after pranking her with fake marriage proposal

(Scroll down for video) A man of the United Kingdom, played a cruel prank on his girlfriend by setting up a fake marriage proposal.

22-year-old Brad Holmes tricked his girlfriend into thinking that he was going to propose to her by getting down on one knee with a ring box on Valentine's Day.

Holmes of Southampton, told his girlfriend Jenny Davies, 22, how happy she makes him. He then pulled a white box from his pocket.

Davies, who has been dating Holmes for six months, was overcome with emotion. However, to her surprise, instead of asking her to marry him, he asked her: “will you make me a cup of tea?”

An angry Davies grabbed the box, threw it to the ground and stormed out of the room. Holmes said that about 20 minutes after playing the prank, Davies brought him a cup of tea.

A family is devastated over the sudden loss of a 4-year-old boy who died while playing near a barbecue pit.

Ironically, the barbecue pit was shaped like a giant gun.

4-year-old Bryan Jara of Texas, was playing outside his home in Liberty County, while his mother was doing work in the yard.

The boy began climbing onto the uniquely shaped barbecue pit before it suddenly tipped over. Sadly, the barbecue pit fell on top of the boy’s head, crushing him.

His mother and neighbors rushed to help him. Deputy Ruben Arellano performed CPR on the child while waiting for an ambulance.

The boy was rushed to the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown, where he was pronounced dead.

Man caught having sex with another woman in public just hours before he was set to get married

(Scroll down for video) A man was caught cheating on his fiancee a short time before they were set to get married.

Philip Panzica, 27, of Houston, Texas, went to Las Vegas, Nevada, with his pregnant fiancee Mistie Bozant, to tie the knot.

However, the couple got into an argument after Panzica became suspicious that he was not the father of his wife’s unborn baby.

After the couple argued, Panzica left the hotel room and went out to drink. He met Chloe Scordianos, 21, of Hicksville, New York.

The two then went on a Ferris wheel and had sex.

A security guard noticed the pair smoking cigarettes and undressing. Both acts are prohibited inside the car.

Guests in cabin 15 took videos of the pair engaging in sex acts. Workers used an intercom to ask passengers to put out the cigarettes and put on their clothes.

The couple briefly did as they were told, but soon resumed the prohibited activities. That is when the police were called.

Bozant and Scordianos were arrested at the end of the 30-minute trip.

The suspects were arrested on felony charges of committing a sexual act in public. Although they did not get married, the couple stayed together.

Bozant posted the $3,000 bail to get Panzica out of jail. “Doesn't that show what a good heart I have?” She said.

(Scroll down for video) A woman released emotional videos, showing a white balloon flowing from her son’s coffin towards her, and it stayed close to the brokenhearted mother.

The grieving mother, Joy Ganda Vibar-Alamares of the Philippines, posted videos to Facebook, showing the balloon gravitating towards her at her son’s wake.

The family was mourning the loss of seven-year-old Trebby. During the wake, one white balloon began flowing slowly towards family members.

It then went to the boy’s mother, but it did not leave her side. In the emotional video, the mother is seen crying as the balloon circled her. When the balloon did not leave her side, the mother took the balloon and placed it close to her face.

The wake was held in Nuestra Senora de Salvacion Funeral Home in Legazpi, Albay.

Man arrested after losing key to handcuffs during sex

A couple was left humiliated after they were forced to call the police for help to unlock a pair of handcuffs.

However, the intimate evening between the husband and wife ended in an arrest of the man.

According to the police report, 21-year-old Dustin Taylor of Fort Smith, Arkansas, was handcuffed during sex, but the couple lost the key and called the police for help to get him out of the toy.

When police arrived, they did a routine search of Taylor's name in a police database and realized that he had a warrant out for his arrest.

He was wanted for first-degree criminal mischief in Sebastian County, the police report said.

Police removed Taylor's personal handcuffs and replaced it with their own, and he was taken to jail.

“I sort of wish the guy had invested in an extra handcuffs key,” Sergeant Daniel Grubbs, spokesperson for the Fort Smith police, said.
