Company president gets probation for killing her employee who did not take work seriously

A company president was arrested on a charge of murder after killing her employee because he had a bad attitude at work, police in Japan said.

Now, 47-year-old Miyuki Muto of Nagoya, has been sentenced to five years of probation after pleading guilty to murder in connection with the killing of 23-year-old Haruhiko Masumoto.

Numerous people have expressed their outrage over the lenient sentence, but the judge pointed out that Muto made and out of court settlement with the family.

According to the police investigation, around 10:00 p.m., Muto began scolding Matsumoto, for his bad work attitude. Muto became increasingly angry by what she perceived as a lack of remorse by Matsumoto.

After hours of screaming, Muto began to attack Matsumoto, kicking him in his abdomen, head and face dozens of times.

The next morning, around 3:00 a.m., Matsumoto was found unconscious and not breathing in the back seat of a car in the company parking lot.

An ambulance was called to the scene, and Matsumoto was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Matsumoto died from internal bleeding.

Man gets $75 fine for burping in police officer’s face after eating onion

A police officer in Austria, who didn't like the smell of a burp, decided to slap a fine on the man who belched in his face.

27-year-old Edin Mehic of Vienna, blamed the incident of burping on eating too much kebab and onions while spending his day in the Prater Park.

Moments after the burp, the police officer notified him that he violated public decency.

Mehic had a long talk with the officer about why he was not going after real criminals who were consuming and selling illegal drugs nearby.

However, the officer did not relent and gave him a fine of 70 euros ($77).

Mehic published a photograph of the fine on his Facebook page, which states that he violated public decency with a loud belch next to a police officer.

Mehic plans to fight the fine in court.

Since going public with his story, 118 people have vowed to attend a flash mob featuring loud belching on Saturday, at the crime scene.

Man steals women’s underwear to make love to the garments

A young man who was arrested on a charge of theft for stealing women’s underwear, told police that every time he touches a woman’s underwear he feels like making love to it, police in Nigeria said.

Anambra State police said that they have arrested 22-year-old Chigozie Ugwu, after being accused of stealing 52 pairs of women’s underwear.

He was charged with one count of theft. During questioning, Ugwu told police that he stole the underwear in order to satisfy his sexual needs.

He also claimed to be unaware that taking women’s underwear was a crime. Ugwu, who does not have girlfriend, urged police to release him from custody.

He told investigators that every time he touches used underwear, he feels like making love. During a search of the suspect's home, police found 52 pairs of stolen underwear.

15-year-old boy rapes his 10-year-old sister before killing her and dumping her body

(Scroll down for video) A teenage boy was arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly killing his sister and dumping her body in a field, police in Florida said.

Fountain police said that they have arrested 15-year-old Fredrick Matthew Lochridge, after being accused of shooting and killing 10-year-old Isabella Heffernan.

Investigators believe that Heffernan was raped before she was murdered.

According to the police investigation, Heffernan was last seen alive around 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, after she went to bed at her family home on Norwood Road.

Her father, Fredrick Lochridge, reported her missing around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. Police launched a massive search in the area surrounding the family home.

Around 4:30 p.m., the body of Heffernan was located in a field behind her house.

While police were searching for Heffernan, the father began to suspect that his son may have had something to do with her disappearance.

The father questioned his son and handcuffed him. When the girl was found dead, police took the boy into custody.

Investigators believe that the boy dragged his sister out of bed and into the woods, where she was raped and shot dead.

Teacher breaking into woman’s home to cook himself soup and use her toilet

(Scroll down for video) A teacher was arrested on a charge of burglary after allegedly breaking into the home of a woman before cooking himself soup and using the toilet, police in Washington said.

Vancouver police said that they have arrested 46-year-old Jon Selby, a teacher at the Skyview High School for 20 years, after being accused of breaking into the home of Terra Galicia.

He was charged with residential burglary. Selby checked himself into Lifeline, a substance abuse treatment center.

Galicia told police that Selby, woke her up when he opened the door to her bedroom. When she got up to see who it was, she saw a pot of leftover soup cooking in her microwave.

Selby then went into her bathroom. Selby later walked out of the bathroom and into the kitchen to grab the soup. He took it to the living room, where he sat down.

Galicia left her home and called the police.

Woman kills her brother because he insulted singer Nicki Minaj

A woman was arrested on a charge of murder after stabbing her brother because he insulted the singer Nicki Minaj, police in Missouri said.

Now, 55-year-old Angela Hallmon of St. Louis, has been sentenced to serve seven years in prison after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter in connection with the stabbing of 55-year-old Edward Hallmon.

In exchange for the guilty plea, prosecutors dropped the charges of second-degree murder, armed criminal action and evidence tampering.

According to the police investigation, Edward Harmon had a discussion with his sister, Angela Hallmon, about YouTube videos and Nicki Minaj.

They were both intoxicated when he made disparaging remarks about Minaj. In response, Angela Hallmon stabbed her brother in the chest at their home in the 5300 block of Northland Avenue.

After being stabbed, Edward Hallmon ran downstairs and sought help from relatives.

As other family members were helping Edward Hallmon, Angela Hallmon hid the knife and cleaned up her brother's blood from the floor.

Woman stuffs pickles down her pants before walking out of store without paying for them

A woman was arrested on a charge of theft after allegedly stuffing pickles down her pants and walking out of a store without paying for them, police in Ohio said,

Perry Township police said that they have arrested the 40-year-old woman, who was not identified, after walking out of the grocery store with the jar of pickles in her pants.

She was charged with one count of theft, and was released from custody without bail.

According to the police, officers were called to the grocery store located on Tuscarawas Street W, after the woman took the pickles, valued at $2.79.

Police caught up with the woman a few minutes later, and recovered the pickles. Police also arrested 46-year-old Brian M. Balala, after being accused of helping the woman steal the jar of pickles.

Balala was charged with one count of robbery. He was booked into the Stark County Jail, and his bail was set at $100,000.

Man steals public transportation bus because he was late for work

A man was arrested on a charge of theft after allegedly stealing a public transportation bus because he wanted to get to work, police in Minnesota said.

The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office said that they have arrested 31-year-old Gregory John Jennrich, after being accused of taking the Metro Transit bus that was parked at a gas station and driving it to work.

Jennrich was charged with theft. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

According to the police investigation, the operator of the bus was on a break at the Holiday gas station, when the bus was stolen.

The driver called the police who used a GPS to locate the bus.

The police stopped the bus, and found Jennrich at the wheel.

Jennrich said that he took the bus because he was late for work.

Police officer ignores emergency calls while watching football game in stadium

A police officer was fired from his job after being accused of ignoring emergency calls while watching a football game at a stadium, police in the United Kingdom said.

30-year-old Jason Charles of Gloucester, faced a disciplinary hearing, following an incident in which he ignored emergency calls while watching a football match at the Kingsholm Stadium.

After receiving a warning about his misconduct, Charles got drunk at the Lord High Constable of England pub and smashed a glass on a table.

According to the police investigation, Charles parked his patrol car outside the Kingsholm Stadium. He then went inside to watch the game between Gloucester and Connacht.

During the game, he received calls from his control room on two occasions. He responded to one call, but he ignored the other despite the fact that it was close to his location.

After a two day hearing, Charles was fired.

The panel found Charles had no good reason to enter the stadium and had abused his position to gain access without paying.

Charles defended his action, saying that he wanted to boost security by being present inside the stadium.

Bride stabs lawyer husband after honeymoon because he was fired from his job

A bride was arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly stabbing her husband because he was fired from his job as an attorney, police in the United Kingdom said.

Lancashire police said that they have arrested 42-year-old Sharon Edwards, after being accused of plunging a knife into the chest of 51-year-old David Edwards.

The Manchester Crown Court heard that David Edwards was the victim of continuous domestic abuse. He kept the abuse secret, and would often appear in court looking disheveled and covered in bruises.

The day the newlywed couple returned from their honeymoon, Sharon Edwards learned that her husband was fired from his job at a law firm.

On one occasion, David Edwards revealed that his wife picked up a glass coffee table and hit him on the head with it.

On the night before his death, David Edwards’ daughter discovered her father in the bathroom with a knife wound to his chest.

The daughter confronted her mother, who said that she did not mean to hurt her husband. The next day, David Edwards was found dead.

Sharon Edwards told police that her husband grabbed a knife before she took it away. He then walked into the knife, causing the stab wound to his chest.

The coroner saw evidence of regular attacks caused by a sharp object. The coroner revealed that David Edwards had a superficial wound from the day before he died.

His body was said to have been covered with bruises and abrasions. Stab wounds were also present on the thighs, knees, fingers and scalp.

Creative man in China pulled over after decorating his car to look like a U.S. police cruiser

(Scroll down for video) A man in China, was pulled over by police while driving his car that looked like a police cruiser used in the United States.

Police in Xi'an, were taken aback when they saw a vehicle that looked like it belonged to a U.S. police department on their roads. The Mustang had the word POLICE on the hood of the car.

The black two-door car featured a white door with the word police on the door.

One the back end of the car, were stickers that said: “Emergency 911 response.” After pulling over the suspicious looking car, officers learned that the car did not belong to a U.S. police department, but rather to a native man who thought it would be cool to drive around in an official looking car.

Unfortunately, police did not see the funny side of it. The man was informed that what he was doing was actually illegal.

Police then searched the vehicle to see if there was any other illegal items in the car, but they didn't find anything.

The man was informed that he has to remove the word police from his vehicle.

14-year-old girl gets electrocuted after charging phone while sitting in bathtub full of water

A young teenager died in a bathtub with her phone in her hand.

The 14-year-old girl of Russia, was trying to charge her cellphone while in the bathroom, but died when the charger fell into the water.

The tragedy occurred after the eighth-grade student, who has not yet been identified, used an extension cord to plug in the phone as the bathroom did not have a working outlet.

The teenager lived with her 40-year-old mother and older brother in Moscow, where the family had recently moved from Moldova.

According to the mother, she became concerned when she realized that her daughter had been in the bathtub for a long time.

She called her daughter, but after not getting a response, she went in and found her daughter’s body in the bathtub with her charger in her hand and the cellphone on the bathroom floor.

Prosecutor Yulia Ivanova said that the incident is being investigated.

Police in the United Kingdom, were called to a kid’s play area on a report of bullying.

The bullying incident took place at the Snakes and Ladders adventure playground in Houghton Regis.

A mother called police after a boy stripped her daughter of her clothes and then hid them from her.

Police arrived and ordered everyone to get out of the play area. They then shut down the playground while investigating the incident.

The Snakes and Ladders adventure playground is a big indoor complex that has a three-storey frame connected by slides, tunnels, climbing ropes and ball ponds for children under 12 years old.

Police said that they were investigating the case of “child on child bullying” that occurred around 11:30 a.m.

“We are all saddened that such an incident could occur in our playground and our thoughts are with the family,” a spokesperson for the Snakes and Ladders playground said.

Woman kills boyfriend because he spent too much time chatting with girls on Facebook

A woman was arrested on a charge of murder after stabbing her boyfriend to death because he spent too much time speaking to girls on Facebook, police in the United Kingdom said.

Now, 23-year-old Terri-Marie Palmer of Heysham, has been sentenced to serve a minimum of 12 years in prison after being convicted of murder in connection with the stabbing of Damon Searson.

According the police investigation, on the day of the murder, Palmer told her friends that her boyfriend was spending an enormous amount of time speaking to girls on Facebook.

She complained that he ignored her all the time because he was too busy with other women.

Around 12:00 a.m., Palmer decided to dump her boyfriend, and around 1:30 a.m., Searson was pronounced dead from a stab wound to the chest.

Palmer first told police that her boyfriend stabbed himself. She then changed her story, saying that she threw the knife at him because he wanted to use it to repair his phone.

Palmer then changed her story again, saying that she and her boyfriend played with the knife when she accidentally stabbed him.

Man becomes Internet sensation with fake hospital stay to avoid exam

A pre-med student made people laugh with his funny attempt to get out of his midterm exam.

Terrell Finner became an Internet sensation over his hilariously bad attempt to avoid his midterm exam.

Finner, who is a pre-med student at Columbia University in New York, published a photo of himself with a pair of headphones stuck in his nose and a MacBook charger through his arm, making it appear as if he was connected to tubes in the hospital.

He also had photos that show him wearing a makeshift hospital bracelet with his own writing on it while he was wrapped in white linen sheets as a hospital gown.

He posted the photos to Twitter and wrote: “I'm emailing these photos to my chemistry professor. I had a nosebleed and had to be hospitalized, and can't take the midterm on Wednesday.”

The photos quickly went viral. Six days later, he posted another photo of himself with the headphones in his nose saying: “Got discharged from the hospital. Gotta have oxygen though.”

Man rapes three women in front of their children because his girlfriend died after childbirth

A man was sentenced to life in prison after raping three women in front of their children.

Trevor Lawler, 32, of Manchester, England, was arrested after one of his victim’s bit his hand and kept the skin in her mouth.

She then handed over the skin to police for DNA testing.

Police said that the man got into the homes of his victims by pretending to be in danger. He told the women that he was kidnapped, but managed to escape.

When the women allowed him into their home, he forcefully raped them. One victim was a 24-year-old woman. She was severely beaten while holding her 12-month-old baby in her arm.

He then forcefully raped the woman while telling her baby “this is all your mother is f*****g worth.”

Police said that just 3 hours earlier, Lawler broke into another woman’s home. She awoke to find the man standing over her about 4:40 a.m.

When the woman’s son began to cry, Lawler said: “shut him up or I will slit your throat.” He then attempted to rape her, but luckily, the woman’s boyfriend came home and Lawler ran away from the house, wearing just his underwear and t-shirt.

Lawler also raped a 37-year-old woman when he was 18 years old after he was allowed into her home by saying he had escaped his kidnapper.

Lawler's attorney Hunter Gray, said that his client has a history of alcohol dependency and heroin use. He added that the crimes may have stemmed from “issues with grief” after his partner died shortly after giving birth to their child.

Uncle shoots his 12-year-old nephew while showing off his new gun

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested for shooting his nephew in the chest, police in Arizona said.

The 12-year-old boy of Phoenix, was hospitalized and is said to be in serious condition after his uncle accidentally shot him, police said.

29-year-old Robert Chavez was arrested, and faces charges of aggravated assault and misconduct after showing his nephew his weapon, said Sgt. Jonathan Howard, a spokesman for the Phoenix police.

According to court documents, the victim asked to see the gun and Chavez took it out of the holster. Chavez told officers that he thought the gun was unloaded before pulling the trigger.

The bullet hit his nephew’s hand and then traveled to his chest.

Chavez is prohibited from possessing a restricted firearm, Howard said.

He admitted to officers that he bought the gun last week, even though he knew he was not allowed to have one, according to court documents.

Bail for Chavez was set at $50,000. The boy's mother, Chavez's sister, was at home when the shooting occurred. She said that she is “disappointed and angry” with her brother as he was a role model to all of her children.

Jail inmate sues $1.5 billion lottery winners because they bought the ticket with his money

(Scroll down for video) A prison inmate has filed a lawsuit for half of a couple’s lottery winnings.

The couple was one of three people who won the $1.5 billion jackpot. The couple opted to take the lump sum of $327 million.

However, as many people want a share of the wealth, one man named Jonathan Lee Riches of Pennsylvania, filed a lawsuit against Powerball jackpot winners Lisa and John Robinson of Munford, Tennessee.

Riches said that he regularly corresponded with the couple's daughter. He claims that he sent the woman $20 from his prison account to the woman so that her parents can buy lottery tickets.

In the lawsuit that was handwritten, Riches, who is also known as Jihadist Schitz, claims that he and the couple’s daughter were planning to get married.

Lisa and John Robinson have not commented on the lawsuit, but they are enjoying their newfound fame and fortune.

They have made an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and the Today Show, as they celebrate their Powerball jackpot.

Yelp fires employee who complained that she could not afford to buy groceries due to her low pay

(Scroll down for video) A Yelp employee in California, was shocked to be fired for complaining about her low wages.

Customer service agent Talia Jane of San Francisco, published an open letter to Yelp CEO Jeremy Stoppelman, claiming that some of his employees simply cannot afford food.

She said that many coworkers are struggling. One coworker even launched a GoFundMe page because she could not pay her rent.

Talia Jane painted a grim picture of the Yelp headquarters in San Francisco. About two hours after publishing the open letter, Talia Jane was notified that she had been fired.

Talia Jane was paid about $365 per week, barely covering her rent of $1,245 per month. She has not bought food since starting her job because she cannot afford it.

Talia Jane said that she ate her meals at Yelp, as the company provided free food during working hours.
