Restaurant gives free giant two foot long sausage rolls for those who can eat them in less than 5 minutes

Hungry consumers are flocking to a restaurant in the United Kingdom, after they announced a promotion to give away giant sausage rolls.

The County Arms pub in London, is giving away the sausages that measure two feet long on the condition that they are eaten in less than five minutes.

Those who are too full to finish their rolls, have to pay 10 pounds ($14). The small minority of diners who complete the challenge, get the meal for free as well as a free shirt.

An employee of the restaurants, Chloe Tyrrell, said that a lot of people have tried the challenge and about half fail. Tyrrell revealed that the restaurant makes these long sandwiches every day.

If nobody takes on the challenge, the rolls are divided up to five portions each and are sold as regular rolls. The record so far, is 1 minute and 49 seconds.

Diners are required to purchase the two foot long roll. If the diner completes the entire roll in less than 5 minutes, they get it for free, but only one person can eat from the roll.

Each roll contains 255 grams of fat and 3,600 calories.

4-year-old boy gets his hand stuck in hotel vending machine for 6 hours after trying to get free drink

(Scroll down for video) A little boy was horrified after his hand got caught up in a vending machine for about six hours, firefighters in Australia said.

The Melbourne Fire Department said that the 4-year-old boy named Leo Shorthouse, was vacationing with his family at a hotel when he came across the vending machine for the first time.

Around 11:30 a.m., the boy stuck his hand into the vending machine on Lonsdale Street, and tried to get a soda. His hand got caught up in the anti-theft device, and he wasn’t able to move.

The fire department was called and it took rescuers 6 hours to free the boy. The boy was distressed, but uninjured. Shorthouse had to be sedated several times.

Special tools had to be used to break open the vending machine. The operation was conducted very slowly to prevent injury.

After being freed, Leo told firefighters that when he grows up, he will join the fire department.

Worker steals employer’s dog before killing and eating it

A worker was arrested on a charge of theft after allegedly stealing his employer’s dog before beating it to death and eating it for dinner, police in China said.

Jiangsu police said that they arrested the worker identified as Zhang, after being accused of killing the dog and eating it for dinner with his two colleagues.

According to the police investigation, the company owner identified as Wang, bought the dog as a gift for his daughter.

On the day of the incident, Wang took the dog to work, but it went missing.

After asking his employees for help in finding the missing dog, Wang was told that Zhang beat it to death and ate it for dinner with two of his colleagues.

Wang immediately fired the three workers and called the police who arrested Zhang. Zhang denied the allegations, saying that he found the animal in the company toilet and thought that it was a wild dog.

He admitted to beating the dog to death and eating it for dinner with his colleagues.

Drunk groom and friends arrested after holding wild bachelor party on plane

A drunk groom of the United Kingdom, ended up behind bars after starting his bachelor party on an airplane and disturbing other passengers, police in Germany said.

Berlin police said that the pilot of the Ryanair plane decided to disrupt the flight from London to Bratislava, Slovakia, and make an emergency landing in Berlin.

According to the police investigation, the groom, Joshua Mariner, and his eleven friends, all about 26 years old, were drunk and loud on the plane Friday night.

They refused to listen to the crew and endangered the safety of other passengers on board. After the pilot landed the plane in Berlin, six of the 12 men, including the groom, were arrested.

They could face a fine of up to 25,000 euros ($27,330) each.

60-year-old man arrested for chasing thief who stole car with child inside

(Scroll down for video) A man in Florida, was shocked when police handcuffed him for attempting to be a good Samaritan.

60-year-old Charles William Long learned that a man stole a car and a child was inside the vehicle. He followed the car at a high speed.

Police said that the incident began when Angelica Luz Marrero, called police and reported that someone stole her car with her son inside.

Clearwater police began a pursuit of the stolen car in an attempt to get back the 3-year-old boy. Her car has a GPS device, and officers were soon behind him.

Officers realized that Long joined the police chase, and he was weaving in and out of traffic at 85 miles per hour, according to the police report.

Long finally stopped the pursuit when he crashed into a police cruiser. He was arrested on a charge of reckless driving with property damage or injury.

Long, who was never in trouble with the law, said that he just wanted to help. However, he said that he now learned his lesson to stay out of the way and allow police to do their jobs.

The chase ended when the car thief crashed into a tree. Police realized that the woman’s child was not in the car. When questioning the mother, she admitted that she lied about the child being in the car and that her son was at his playgroup.

Marrero and the boy’s father, Nestor Gerardo Badillo, were charged with false report of a crime and misuse of 911. Marrero also faces charges of possession of marijuana.

According to the police, Marrero said that her car was stolen a few weeks ago, and it took police a long time to respond she tricked police into believing that their child was in the car.

The car thief, Stevie Gamble Jr., was charged with grand theft of a vehicle, driving without a license, fleeing or eluding at high speed and reckless driving.

Grandfather rapes and kills his granddaughter to take revenge against his daughter for stealing his property

A grandfather was arrested on charges of murder and rape after allegedly raping and killing his granddaughter in order to take revenge against his daughter, police in Mexico said.

Hidalgo police said that they have arrested 58-year-old Norberto Gayosso Vazquez, after being accused of raping and killing 16-year-old Fryda Cherlin Gomez Gayosso.

According to the police investigation, Vazquez had an ongoing dispute with Gayosso’s parents over several properties.

Vazquez believed that his daughter illegally took possession of several properties that belonged to him. Last week, Vazquez warned his daughter that is she does not surrender the properties, he will hurt her where it hurts.

On Thursday, police found the dead body of Gayosso, in her grandfather’s home. Investigators said that the body showed signs of sexual assault.

Neighbors told investigators that Vazquez is an alcoholic.

Four people shot after gang member farts in the face of rival

Four people have been arrested on a charge of attempted murder after four people were shot during a fight between rival gang members, police in Spain said.

Torrent police said that they deployed an army of officers to patrol the city on fears of revenge attacks by the gangs.

According to the police investigation, the fight began after a member of a crime family farted in the face of a member of another crime family around 12:00 a.m. on Sunday.

The victim took revenge and immediately farted in the face of his attacker. The situation deteriorated rapidly after the wives of the men became involved in the feud.

After a few minutes, guns were drawn and shots were fired. A 57-year-old old man was shot three times in the stomach and is being treated in the intensive care unit of a hospital.

He is said to be in serious condition. His 29-year-old son was shot in the leg, but is expected to make a full recovery. Two other men were taken to hospital, but have already been discharged.

Four people have been arrested and charged with attempted murder.

Husband calls police on his wife for cursing their country's president

A husband who was angry with his wife, called the police to report that she was cursing the country's president, a crime punishable by up to four years in prison, police in Turkey said.

Ali Dinc of Izmir, said that he called the police on Friday, after getting tired of the repeated cursing by his wife Gulcan.

Dinc decided to record his wife’s cursing after she ignored his warning to stop. Gulcan supports the opposition party while Dinc is loyal to President Tayyip Erdogan.

It is illegal to curse a president. Anyone convicted of the crime faces up to four years in prison for each offense. Not surprisingly, after being arrested, Gulcan filed for divorce.

Dinc revealed that despite his broken marriage, he does not regret reporting his wife to the police because she must respect Erdogan, who transformed the country.

Woman bites off her boyfriend’s tongue during passionate kiss

A man lost his tongue after sharing a passionate kiss with his girlfriend, who was under the influence of drugs, police in Connecticut said.

Hartford police said that they have arrested 37-year-old Shakeia Long, after being accused of biting off a large part of her boyfriend's tongue while they were engaged in kissing.

Long was charged with one count of assault and violating probation.

According to the police investigation, Williams was at Long’s house when she bit off a sizable chunk of his tongue during a shared kiss.

Williams grabbed the piece of tongue and ran away from the apartment.

He flagged down a police officer, and was taken to the St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, where he lost consciousness due to blood loss.

Efforts to attach the tongue failed.

Twin brothers placed behind bars after beating each other up with grass cutter and fishing rod

(Scroll down for video) Twin brothers were arrested on a charge of battery after allegedly beating each other up with weird objects, police in Florida said.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office said that they have arrested Matthew Summerall and Michael Summerall, both 22, after using a fishing rod and a grass cutter to assault each other during an argument.

The were both charged with one count of battery. The men were booked into the Lee County Jail.

According to the police investigation, the brothers had been arguing for several days, following the decision by Matthew and his girlfriend to move out of their shared home.

Michael claimed that his brother threatened him and then hit him in the arm with a grass cutter. The brothers then assaulted each other with a rake, fishing rod and a tree branch.

The police were called to stop the fight.

After being released from jail on bail, the two brothers said that they reconciled their differences, and the fight just got out of hand.

Man walks into restaurant with his pregnant girlfriend and pleasures himself while looking at the waitress

A man was arrested on a charge of indecent exposure after allegedly walking into a restaurant and pleasuring himself while staring at a waitress, police in Florida said.

Hernando police said that they have arrested 24-year-old Nicholas Scordato, after being accused of sitting down in the restaurant with his pregnant girlfriend before hitting on the waitress.

Scordato was charged with one count of indecent exposure. He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $2,000. According to the police investigation, Scordato came to the restaurant along with his pregnant girlfriend.

After Scordato hit on the waitress, the pregnant woman became upset and left the restaurant. The waitress continued to serve alcoholic beverages to Scordato, who sat alone at the table.

At some point, the waitress noticed that Scordato exposed himself under the table. The waitress immediately ran to the kitchen, and reported the incident to her boss.

Passenger gets seat covered in urine after buying first class ticket on American Airlines

(Scroll down for video) A man of Iowa, said that his clothes got wet from urine after sitting in a first class seat on American Airlines.

Mike Feinberg of Des Moines, said that he boarded the flight leaving from St. Louis, Missouri, before realizing that the liquid in his first class seat had soaked his clothes.

He smelled the liquid, and he realized that it was urine.

Feinberg said that a flight attendant gave him blankets and a plastic bag to place between the seat and his backside.

The flight attendant told him that an elderly passenger sat in his seat during a previous flight, and he must have urinated there instead of going to the bathroom.

After the flight landed, American Airlines allowed him to shower, gave him a pair of pajamas and issued him a voucher of $200.

Feinberg later got an additional $1,000 plus $500 for the suit he was wearing at the time of the incident. 10,000 frequent flier miles that was used for the trip, was also refunded.

Man named ‘The Reverend’ kills nursing home patient by stabbing him with plastic fork

(Scroll down for video) A man whose name is The Reverend, was arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly killing a nursing home patient, police in Kentucky said.

Scottsville police said that they have arrested Reverend, after being accused of killing 71-year-old Gary Glueck, who was staying in the nursing home.

Reverend was charged with one count of murder. According to police, they received a call from the nursing around 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, reporting a disturbance.

Police officers who arrived at the scene, learned that Reverend fought with the 71-year-old nursing home patient before killing him.

According to doctors, the victim was killed by asphyxiation. He also had puncture wounds on his neck from a plastic fork. After killing Glueck, Reverend approached nurses and asks for water because he felt thirsty.

Model and mother of three children dies during breast implants and eyelid surgery

A family is devastated over the loss of a young mother who died during breast enhancement surgery.

25-year-old fashion model Ting of China, had breast implants and eyelid surgery in a Shenzhen beauty clinic, where things went very wrong.

The mother of three children, was placed under local anesthesia about 10:30 a.m. Doctors first performed the procedure on her eyelids. Then they added more anesthesia before she underwent the breast enhancement surgery.

However, during the surgery, her pulse and blood pressure dropped. Doctors tried to save Ting, but she died on the operating table.

Doctors did not inform her family about the death until 5:00 p.m. Police were called and the incident is under investigation.
According to the hospital, Ting had a nose job done at the clinic at an earlier time.

Hospital records show that Ting paid 45,600 yuan (about $6,900) for the eyelid and breast implant surgeries.

Her heartbroken mother, Tian, said that she always told her daughter that she looked very pretty. However, “Ting didn't think she was perfect enough and often talked about making her eyes longer and rounder,” Tian said.

Pastor shot dead in front of congregants by his own brother

(Scroll down for video) Police in Ohio, were called to a church after its pastor was shot dead.

Witnesses said that Reverend William Schooler, was shot and killed at the end of his service on Sunday.

William Schooler, 70, was shot and killed in front of his parishioners at the St. Peter's Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton.

Police arrested his brother, 68-year-old Daniel Gregory Schooler. He was charged with murder.

Joyce Napier, a niece of the pastor and the suspect, said that her uncle Daniel, suffers from “bipolar and is schizophrenic. He had a lot of things going on he was dealing with.”

The incident unfolded around 12:30 p.m. Over 20 parishioners fled from the church as Daniel Schooler kept firing shots at his brother.

The pastor's wife, who was with him at the time of the shooting, was not hurt.

“I want to make sure that the public understands this was not a random act of violence. This was somewhat of a domestic situation between family members,” Sgt. Creigee Coleman said.

Dumb drug dealers jailed after mocking female judge on Facebook for giving them suspended sentence

Drug dealers from the United Kingdom, were jailed for mocking a judge on Facebook.

Daniel and Samuel Sledden of Accrington, were shocked but overjoyed when a judge gave them probation instead of jail time for selling drugs.

The brothers were facing 3 years in prison, but judge Beverley Lunt sentenced them to a 2 year suspended sentence after they pleaded guilty to distributing drugs.

However, just forty minutes after leaving the Burnley Crown Court, the men took to Facebook to celebrate their luck by making fun of the judge.

Daniel, 27, wrote: “Cannot believe my luck. 2 year suspended sentence beats 3 years jail, yes pal.” He than added: “the judge should s*** his private parts. “

His brother, Samuel, 22, wrote: “What a day it has been at the Burnley Crown Court! Aha nice 2 year suspended.” He then also made sexually explicit comments, mocking the judge.

The judge ordered their arrests. Lunt said that at their previous appearance the brothers “assured her that they were full of remorse. However, their Facebook posts indicated that they have not changed at all. They have not learned anything and they are not taking responsibility.”

The brothers had their suspended sentences revoked and they were sentenced to two years in prison.

10-year-old girl dies while pushing two toddlers out of way of speeding Mercedes

(Scroll down for video) A 10-year-old girl is being called a hero after she gave away her life to save two young children.

Kiera Larsen of Lakeside, California, was playing with the children of her mother’s friend when a car came rolling down hill towards them.

The brave 10-year-old girl pushed the two toddlers out of harm’s way before she was run over by the Mercedes. Larsen died on the way to the hospital.

The parents of one-year-old Adison and two-year-old Emma, are heartbroken over the loss of Larsen, “who was like a big sister to them,” the children’s father, Jonathan Gusich, said.

His fiancee, Alissa Jenkins, the mother of the two girls, said: “she will forever be my kids’ guardian angel.”

“My two kids could have been gone in an instant, but she stepped in and did what she knows best ,and that is to protect those around her,” and emotional Jenkins said.

Fugitive charged with tampering with evidence for chewing off skin of fingertips to avoid arrest

A man self-mutilated in an attempt to avoid arrest.

Police in Tampa, Florida, were looking for a suspect for the past six months, but were unable to locate him.

The suspect was finally arrested when he was pulled over at 3:00 a.m. by police in Ohio. The car had expired tags.

Police said that 24-year-old Kirk Kelly, gave false names as they tried to identify him. Tallmadge police said that they recognized his tattoos from a photo that was sent to them by the police in Florida.

Kelly was wanted on a charge of violating probation for selling drugs and firearms.

Chief Ronald Williams said that when Kelly heard that officers were preparing to scan his fingerprints on a portable device, he bit off the skin of his fingertips.

Kelly was arrested on charges of tampering with evidence, obstructing official business, falsification and resisting arrest.

Newly elected female mayor seen on video dancing with two topless men

A female mayor in Mexico, caused controversy after she was seen dancing in the street with two men.

Mayor Gabriela del Carmen Lopez Sanlucas was at a music festival when she showed off her dance moves with two male topless dancers.

Sanlucas was recently elected as mayor of Centla. The video of the incident was uploaded to YouTube, where it went viral.

People went on social media to voice their opinion about the mayor dancing in the streets.

While some people claimed that it was unbecoming of an elected official to dance with strippers, others thought she was just having fun and applauded her.

Man sexually assaults nurse who was taking care of his mother

A man was arrested after sexually assaulting a nurse while she was taking care of his mother.

Police in Georgia, arrested 49-year-old Pierce Thompkins of Augusta, after the nurse called them to report the assault.

According to the police report, the nurse who works at the Augusta University Medical Center, was caring for the man’s mother while he was lying on a couch in the patient's room.

While the nurse was taking blood from the elderly woman, Thompkins placed his hand on her backside.

“While she was focusing on the patient, Thompkins placed his hand on her backside and chuckled,” the police report said.

The 50-year-old nurse told police that she slapped the man’s hand and warned him not to touch her like that again.

Thompkins told officers that he accidentally touched the woman with his elbow when she was moving around, according to the police report.

Thompkins was arrested and charged with sexual battery.
