KFC manager fired for firing new female employee because she was listed as male on driver's license

(Scroll down for video) A KFC manager in Virginia, lost his job after he fired a new female employee because she was listed as male on her driver’s license.

27-year-old Georgia Carter of Richmond, was hired to work at KFC, but was terminated after several hours.

The manager, who learned that Carter was listed as a male on her driver's license, told her not to come to work the following day.

The manager told Carter that his supervisor had a problem because there was no bathroom for transgender people in the restaurant.

When corporate headquarters learned about the incident, the manager was fired for violating the company’s policy against discrimination.

KFC supports gender equality, a company spokesperson said.

KFC does not tolerate discrimination of any kind, and Carter was offered employment at any restaurants in Richmond. KFC also promised additional training in order to ensure that this does not happen again.

A man was arrested on a charge of assault after choking a woman on a train because she took away his camera, police in Australia said.

Now, 38-year-old Wayne David Smart of Melbourne, has been sentenced to serve to four months in jail after pleading guilty to assault, drunk driving and assaulting Protective Services Officers.

According to the police investigation, Smart was sitting in the back of the train and taking pictures of strangers. Smart then approached one woman on the train, and took pictures in front of her face.

The woman asked him to stop, but he continued to take pictures. The woman then grabbed the camera away from the man and told him that she was going to delete the pictures.

Smart became angry and grabbed the woman by the neck. He pinned the woman to a wall before other passengers intervened and detained Smart until police arrived.

A man was arrested on a charge of sexual assault after allegedly trying to rape a young girl in public, police in Argentina said.

Before being handed over to the police in San Miguel, an angry mob detained the young man, who was not identified, and he was stripped naked.

According to residents, the suspect tried to rape the 8-year-old girl on a street before being caught. A group of people grabbed the suspect, stripped him naked and tied up his hands with rope.

He was taken from the scene, and paraded naked on the streets of the city. After several hours, the mob handed over the suspect to the police who arrested him on a charge of sexual assault.

People in the crowd shouted insults as the man was being led away by the police. One man can be heard shouting: "Next time I will kill you."

A woman suggested that police tie him to the back of the truck and drag him to his death.

Man banned from eating at all restaurants after running up huge bills and leaving without paying

A man was arrested on a charge of theft after running up large bills at upscale restaurants before walking out the door without paying, police in the United Kingdom said.

Now, 45-year-old Neil Rogers of Lancashire, has been banned from all the restaurants in the country except fast-food joints, where he will be required to pay for his food in advance.

Rogers was also sentenced to serve 24 weeks in prison, but it was suspended for two years.

According to the police investigation, Rogers loved to impress his friends by inviting them for meals at upscale restaurants across the city.

However, he would routinely leave the restaurants without paying his bills. At one restaurant, Rogers spent 248 pounds before trying to pay with a credit card that he knew would be declined.

At another restaurant, Rogers ran up a bill of 187 pounds, but he left without paying. He also admitted running up taxi bills and leaving without paying the drivers.

Rogers pleaded guilty to nine counts of theft, but 13 additional counts were dismissed in exchange for his guilty plea.

(Scroll down for video) A jealous wife was arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly killing her husband along with another couple while they were all having sex with one another in the bedroom of her home, police in North Carolina said.

Alexis police said that they have arrested 42-year-old Crystal Leah Gambino, after being accused of killing 40-year-old Giovanni James Gambino, 39-year-old Geoffrey Glenn Gilliland, and 33-year-old Stephanie Lynn Sanchez.

Crystal Leah Gambino was charged with three counts of murder. She was booked into the Gaston County Jail, and is being held without bail.

According to the police investigation, on Monday night, the suspect, her husband and the couple were all naked and having sex in the bedroom of their home.

The couple lived at a nearby motel and met with the Gambino family several times. At some point during the night, Crystal Leah Gambino grabbed a gun and shot her husband and the couple.

Neighbors who heard the gunshots called the police. Police officers who arrived at the scene, found the husband and the couple naked in the bedroom.

All were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two brothers sell meth from portable toilet outside adult video store

Two brothers were arrested on a charge of drug trafficking after allegedly selling meth to an undercover police officer inside a portable toilet, police in New Mexico said.

Albuquerque police said that they have arrested 18-year-old Andres Plata and 22-year-old Aaron Gonzales, after they were caught dealing drugs outside an adult video store.

The brothers were charged with two counts of trafficking a controlled substance and two counts of conspiracy.

According to the police, on Tuesday night, undercover agents conducted an operation near Central Avenue and Pennsylvania.

One of the officers approached Plata, and asked where he could buy some drugs. Plata showed him a blue portable toilet in the parking lot of the adult video store.

Inside the portable toilet, Gonzales sold meth to the undercover agent.

The adult video store manager said that he placed the portable toilet outside his business because people used to relieve themselves on the sidewalk.

Man dies after shooting himself in the face while taking selfies with his girlfriend and gun

A man fatally shot himself while taking selfies with his girlfriend and a gun, police in Washington said.

Concrete police said that the 43-year-old man died on Sunday, after shooting himself in the face in his home located in the 46000 block of Baker Loop Road.

The gun went off and shot the man in the face while he and his girlfriend were taking photos of themselves.

The girlfriend, who was not identified, told investigators that they loaded and unloaded the gun several times during the day.

The last time however, a bullet apparently remained in the gun, and the man, who was not identified, shot himself in the face.

So far, no charges have been filed as police believe that the shooting was an accident.

100 U.N. peacekeepers accused of sexual assault including the rape of a 13-year-old girl who got pregnant

(Scroll down for video) The United Nations was condemned after it did little to stop sexual assaults committed by its peacekeeper across the globe.

In the latest complaint filed against the United Nations, a peacekeeper raped a 13-year-old girl, and got her pregnant.

Last year, 99 complaints of sexual assault were made against U.N. peacekeepers in 69 countries. So far, no arrests have been made.

Most peacekeepers accused of sexual assault last year, were from Congo, Morocco, South Africa, Cameroon, Rwanda and Tanzania.

Last year, U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon pledged to root out sexual abuse after an independent panel found that the U.N. did not act with speed, attention or the sensitivity necessary when information was revealed about crimes committed against child by peacekeepers.

Woman starves to death after maintenance workers close elevator for a month trapping her inside

Maintenance workers in China, were shocked to find a dead woman inside an elevator that has been out of service for a month.

Xi’an police said that they have launched an investigation on a charge of negligent homicide after the 40-year-old woman identified as Wu, starved to death inside the non-working elevator.

So far, on person has been arrested in connection with the death of Wu.

The property manager told investigators that the elevator was brought to the first floor of the building, where it was sealed off for maintenance work.

The workers claimed that they have confirmed that there was nobody inside before shutting down the elevator.

However, investigators believe that the workers simply shouted to see if there was anyone inside and did not open the door for a visual inspection.

Police said that there was evidence that the woman tried to force open the doors, but she was not successful.

A man is being questioned by police, following an incident in which he drove an unregistered motorcycle into a police car while drinking beer, police in Australia said.

Baxter police said that the incident unfolded on Saturday around 1:45 a.m.

The 45-year-old driver who suffered minor injuries, was taken to the Frankston Hospital. He is facing a charge of driving an unregistered vehicle.

Police have not yet determined if his blood alcohol content level was above the legal limit.

According to the police investigation, the highway patrol officer was traveling through a green light when he was struck by the motorcycle on the passenger side.

As a result of the collision, the suspect was thrown off the motorcycle and was injured. The police officers in the vehicle were not injured.

CVS fires manager after stopping two thieves from leaving store with narcotics

(Scroll down for video) A CVS manager in Maryland, was fired from his position after successfully stopping two thieves from leaving the store with robbed narcotics.

Beltsville police said Joe Morici, an Army veteran, took the drugs away before the two thieves got away.

However, several hours later, Morici received the news that he was being fired from his position because he violated company policy, which calls on employees not to confront robbers.

Morici said that on Friday, two robbery suspects entered the business. The two robbers jumped over the counter at our pharmacy, and they took narcotics from the safe.

Morici pursued the suspects to the front door, where one of them attacked him with a screwdriver. Morici pinned one suspect down while wrestling the screwdriver away from the other robber.

Morici even managed to recover most of the pills before the suspects escaped. So far, no arrests have been made.

Dog drives tractor-trailer into car and tree

(Scroll down for video) Customers at a gas station in Minnesota, were shocked to see a dog driving a tractor-trailer into a tree and a car before it stuck its head out a window.

Mankato police said that the incident unfolded on Friday around 2:00 p.m. at the Kwik Trip along Highway 169.

According to the police investigation, the truck driver left the vehicle idling in the parking lot of the gas station. David Stegora told investigators that he was in the store when he heard the truck crashing into the tree and the parked car.

He could not see the driver, but he saw the dog near the driver's side. A passerby who jumped into the truck in an attempt to stop it, also saw the dog sitting in the driver’s seat.

No one was hurt as a result of the incident, and the truck driver did not receive a citation.

Couple finds lots of furniture in their driveway after thief rented out their house to a woman

(Scroll down for video) A family woke up to find a full house of furniture dumped on their driveway due to a rental scam.

Kit Pullen of Canada, wanted to shovel his driveway, but was unable to do so as there was an entire home of furniture dumped in front of his car garage.

Pullen said that during the night, a U-Haul truck stopped at his home in Ottawa on Parkglen Drive, and two men unloaded everything in front of his garage, trapping the family’s car inside.

In the morning, Nikki Wilson learned about her misfortune. Wilson said that she posted an ad on Kijiji, looking for a new home in Ottawa, while planning to move from Napanee, Ontario.

Someone responded and offered her the home that belongs to Pullen, and they demanded $900 up front. Wilson said she did not realize that she was scammed until it was too late.

U-Haul driver Richard Lalonde said that he and his partner left Wilson's belongings in the driveway because they were unable to reach her and they needed the truck empty for a job the following morning.

After learning about the scam, Lalonde returned to Pullen’s home and packed up all of Wilson’s belongings before taking the items back to Napanee.

Two brothers win money playing the same Powerball lottery

(Scroll down for video) Two brothers won money in the Powerball lottery, which they bought while on vacation.

James and Bob Stocklas held the checks of their lottery winnings as they were photographed.

However, although they were both excited to win money in the same Powerball drawing, their cash amounts were far from the same.

James, who is a judge in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, was on his way home from a fishing trip in the Florida Keys, when he and his friends decided to stop at a convenience store for ice and they also bought a lucky ticket.

Once he was back home, James, 67, went to his favorite diner. He then checked his winning ticket and realized that he won $291.4 million.

He announced that breakfast for all diners were on him since he just became a millionaire. James and his friend chartered a private plane to fly to Florida, to pick up their winnings.

Opting for the lump sum payment, the three friends will each receive about $40 million after taxes.

The judge soon learned that his brother Bob, also claimed Powerball winnings that same day, and he too returned with them to Florida to pick up his winnings, but it was just a $7 check.

17-year-old girl burned to death by stalker who had a crush on her

(Scroll down for video) A teenager of India, was burned to death after rejecting the sexual advances made by a man who was in love with her.

Police in Andhra Pradesh, confirmed that the girl filed a complaint with police because she was afraid of the man who kept stalking her.

However, police did not do anything to the suspect until he burned the girl by pouring kerosene on her and setting her on fire inside her own home.

The girl who was identified as Pydala Indumathi, was rushed to the Eluru Government General Hospital, where she died.

The girl’s family said that the stalking became so bad that the girl stopped going to school. However, that did not deter Dagumilli Chinababu, who is also known as Vikky, from stalking her.

The victim’s family attempted to stop the man from coming around the home. One day, the victim’s father and brother got into an altercation with Chinababu.

After the fight, Chinababu waited for the girl to be home alone, and he along with his brother Pedababu, broke into her house, poured kerosene on her and set her on fire.

Police arrested the stalker and his brother on charges of murder.

Police have now launched an investigation as to why the girl’s complaint was not taken seriously as it ultimately led to her death.

Woman hires prostitutes to satisfy her husband before helping him rape her daughter

A couple of Zimbabwe, was arrested for raping a girl.

Netsai Sibanda and her husband Philemon Tauze of Zvishavane, are accused of raping her 14-year-old daughter.

According to court records, Sibanda was in the habit of hiring prostitutes to satisfy her husband’s needs.

Sibanda said that her husband suffers from fatigue. On several occasions, the woman allowed her husband to have sex with her daughter instead of prostitutes.

The mother then began locking her daughter into her room with her husband, and she was forced to have sex with the man.

The teenager eventually told a neighbor about the sexual assaults and the couple was arrested.

Tauze, 30, appeared before Zvishavane magistrate Shepard Munjanja, and he pleaded guilty to the charges. Tauze admitted to having sex with the girl twice, while her mother watched.

37-year-old man slashes and robs 60-year-old woman who brought him home for sex after meeting at bar

A woman suffered injuries after bringing home a much younger man for sex.

Police in New York, arrested 37-year-old Levan Bakradze, after he allegedly robbed a one-night stand at knifepoint and cut her arm before running out of an apartment in Brooklyn on Saturday.

Police said that Bakradze, pulled a knife on the 60-year-old woman at 7:15 a.m., after they spent the night together at her home in Sheepshead Bay.

Bakradze allegedly met the woman at the Towne Cafe bar on E. 15th St., and she invited him to her house for sex. In the morning, Bakradze threatened the woman with the knife and demanded money, police said.

When the woman said that she did not have any money, Bakradze stole two rings valued at $500 and then fled the apartment in his underwear.

Bakradze is facing two charges of theft and possession of weapons. The woman was treated for a minor wound at a hospital.

Trooper handcuffs and rapes woman involved in car crash

(Scroll down for video) A trooper of Alabama, was arrested after he raped a woman, whom he was supposed to help.

The state trooper was jailed after handcuffing the woman and forcing her to have sex with him in his patrol car.

Samuel H. McHenry II, 36, of Rutledge, pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct after his felony charges of rape and sodomy were dismissed as part of a plea deal with prosecutors.

McHenry must serve six months in the Butler County Jail. He also lost his Alabama Peace Officer Training Commission certification and is required to register as a sex offender.

According to court documents, the victim told police that she was involved in a traffic accident on Interstate 65, and McHenry responded to investigate the incident.

McHenry handcuffed the victim and placed her in the back of his patrol car after finding pill bottles and an empty nasal spray in her car.

McHenry then drove his cruiser to exit 107 in Butler County, and threatened the victim with jail if she did not cooperate with him.

McHenry then got out of his cruiser, dropped his pants and had sex with her. He also forced the woman to perform sex acts on him.

He then drove the victim to exit 101, and dumped her outside a closed shop.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency spokesman Sgt. Steve Jarrett said that agents were notified of the incident and the officer was arrested.

Firefighters in trouble for saving life of toddler by using fire truck to rush her to hospital

(Scroll down for video) Two firefighters were suspended for saving the life of a girl by transporting her to a hospital.

Firefighters Captain James Kelley and Sgt. Virgil Bloom of Fredericksburg, Virginia, don’t get paid. Instead, they are volunteer firefighters because they love helping people.

However, they will no longer be able to volunteer as firefighters because they transported an 18-month-old girl to the hospital in a fire truck that was not licensed to transport patients.

Brian Nunamaker said that he called 911 after his youngest daughter was having a seizure while they were on their way home from running errands.

Nunamaker pulled into a McDonald's restaurant parking lot. The firefighters arrived at the scene and determined that the child needed oxygen.

The child was blue and she needed immediate medical attention. The two men made the decision to rush the child to the hospital with the fire truck to save her life.

However, instead of being awarded, the volunteer firefighters were suspended. Chief Christopher Smith of the Falmouth fire department said that he stands behind the firefighters. He explained that he would have done the same if he was in the situation.

He also said that losing two firefighters means that he will have a harder time responding to calls in a timely fashion in the future.

Soldier kills wife with gun he bought her as birthday gift after another man bought her alcohol

(Scroll down for video) A jealous husband was jailed after he shot his wife with the rifle that he bought her as a birthday gift a few months earlier.

The Joint Base Lewis-McChord soldier (JBLM) shot his 19-year-old wife, Danielle, in the back of the head with an assault rifle while she was sitting at her computer.

Prosecutors said that 21-year-old Skylar Nemetz of Tacoma, Washington, killed his wife because he thought she was cheating when another man bought her liquor.

Prosecutors were looking for a conviction of first-degree murder. However, a jury found him guilty of first-degree manslaughter with a firearm enhancement.

The jury believed that Nemetz did not intend to kill his wife because he thought that the gun was unloaded before shooting her.

After he was arrested, Nemetz told police that he unloaded the weapon and placed the bullets on the bed.

Unfortunately, their was one bullet left, and Danielle died of a single gunshot wound to the head. Nemetz said that his life was ruined on that day, because he lost his wife and best friend.

Nemetz is facing 13 years in prison when he is sentenced.
