(Scroll down for video) A nail salon in California, was slapped with a lawsuit after a woman lost her toe to an infection that she allegedly got following a pedicure, according to court documents.

Dynasy Nails of Santa Clarita, is being accused of causing an infection in the foot of Sonia Algara, who suffers from diabetes.

According to the complaint filed by Algara, an employee used scissors to cut in between her fourth and fifth toes of the left foot.

The incision caused pain and an infection. After a week, the fifth toe had to be amputated. Algara told the court that after the pedicure, she went to the hospital, where she was told that she got an infection.

A week later, doctors had no choice but to remove the toe.

Algara claims that the disfigurement has affected her balance, the ability to use certain shoes and is unable to climb stairs.

She is seeking unspecified damages for medical expenses, mental anguish and emotional distress.

(Scroll down for video) A group of students rioted in France, after criticizing the police for arresting their classmate who admitted to throwing eggs at police officers.

The riot unfolded on Friday in Paris, after the students accused the police of using excessive force to arrest a 15-year-old boy.

The rioters attacked two police stations with rocks and tear gas.

The boy admitted to protesting and throwing eggs at police before being roughed up by officers. The boy said that on Thursday, the police officers charged at him and threw him down to the floor.

They then demanded that he get up before being punched in the chest. On Friday, his classmates reacted angrily, with some of them throwing rocks and tear gas at two police stations.

The youngsters also tried to break the reinforced windows of a station with wooden planks and scrawled death to the cops on the walls.

No arrests were made.

Teachers burn student in front of principal because she worshipped the devil

Police launched an investigation after two teachers tied up their student and burned her for worshipping the devil, police in Kenya said.

Nairobi police said that the incident unfolded at the Strait Secondary School on Thursday.

According to the police investigation, the teachers dragged the 17-year-old girl, who was not identified, into the principal's office and tied her hands and feet.

They then asked her to reveal the whereabouts of a missing student.

When she said that she does not know, the teachers poured flammable liquids on her and set her on fire as the principal of the school watched.

The teachers then accused the girl of worshipping the devil.

The girl’s parents rushed over to the school, and took their daughter to the hospital, where she is said to be in critical condition.

The parents denied the allegations, and said that their daughter does not worship the devil.

Priest uses $500,000 that was supposed to go to refugees for gambling

(Scroll down for video) Police launched an investigation after a priest was accused of using money that was supposed to go to refugees to fuel his gambling addiction, police in Canada said.

London police said that they are investigating Father Amer Saka of St. Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church, after receiving a complaint from the Diocese of Hamilton.

Saka has been suspended from his position at the church after admitting to Bishop Emanuel Shaleta that he lost $500,000 to gambling.

Saka has checked himself into the Southdown Institute, which is a facility for treatment of addictions.

About eight families who belong to St. Joseph's Chaldean Catholic Church, gave Saka the $500,000 and trusted him that he distribute the money once the refugees arrived in the country.


Woman arranges to have threesome with father and underage daughter

A woman was arrested when she arrived to a predetermined location to have sex with a father and his daughter.

The woman of Michigan, met a man on a chatline and she expressed interest in having sex with him.

38-year-old Kristina L. Howarth then exchanged phone numbers with the man, and the two discussed having a threesome with the man’s underage daughter.
Police in Dearborn Heights, said that the father was actually an undercover agent. After a number of phone calls, Howarth and the man decided to meet for the threesome.

When Howarth arrived at the location, she was arrested by a Macomb County Sheriff's deputy. She was charged with two counts of child sexual abusive activity and using a computer to commit a crime.

If she is found guilty, she could face up to 20 years in prison for each crime. Howarth was released from prison after posting $75,000 bail.

Man beats his brother for urinating on his toothbrush

A man of Georgia, was arrested for assaulting his mother and brother over urine on his toothbrush.

Police arrested 20-year-old Fernandez Jones of the 3000 block of Libby Drive, in Augusta, on charges of simple battery family violence, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Police learned that Jones complained to his mother that his toothbrush smelled of urine, and he said that he was sure his brother was responsible.

He quickly became irrational and grabbed his mother by her face and then her throat.

The mother screamed for help, and her other son came to her rescue. However, Jones soon repeatedly punched him in the face.

The mother ran into her bedroom and shut the door, but Jones kicked it in.

When deputies arrived, Jones was allegedly irrational and he talked about the wires in his house that were being used to spy on him, police said.

Police called to investigate sex crime after kindergarten boy pushed Lego into panties of 3-year-old girl

Police in Austria, were called to a kindergarten after a boy was accused of sexually assaulting his classmate.

Parents demanded labeling the boy as a sex offender and wanted him to be removed from the school.

The incident occurred in a kindergarten in Linz, where the 5-year-old boy had pushed a Lego brick into the panties of the 3-year-old girl.

Police confirmed that because a complaint was filed. They were forced to launch an investigation. However, the prosecutor refused to file any charges against the boy.

A spokesperson for Prosecutor Philip Christl said: “In cases involving youngsters we never prosecute. There are exceptions for older children, but there is usually no prosecution for children under 18 years old.”

After the prosecution informed the parents of the 3-year-old girl that they will not take any further action on the complaint, they said that they will remove their daughter from the school.

A woman of the United Kingdom, was seen relieving herself into a river in broad daylight.

Arijus Dukstas, 20, who works as an event manager, spotted the unnamed woman with her pants pulled down to her knees and her bottom exposed.

The woman held onto the railings at the river in Newcastle near the Millennium Bridge. The incident took place around 6:00 p.m.

Dukstas said that the young woman in high heels “really needed to go and just went for it in the river.”

The woman, who has red hair, was wearing white tight pants, a white short top and black high heels. She was squatting over the railings in full view of passersby and her friends.

“Her friends were just shouting and laughing at her. There was six of them. One of her friends was taking a video of her in action,” Dukstas said.

Dukstas took a photo of the woman's act and uploaded it to Facebook, where it received over 2,000 likes.

Mother breaks her son’s skull because he went to her neighbor's house without permission

A mother was arrested on a charge of attempted murder after allegedly throwing a stone at her son's head, according to police in Nigeria.

Lagos police said that they have arrested the mother identified as Mary, after being accused of breaking the skull of her son, 8-year-old Samuel.

Samuel suffered from a fracture, and was taken to a hospital, where he is said to be in stable condition. According to the police investigation, when Mary came home from work on Tuesday, she did not find her son at home.

When Samuel came home, he told her that he was spending time at his neighbor’s house. Mary became angry because her son did not ask for permission to spend time at his neighbor's house.

She picked up a stone and threw at her son’s head. As a result, Samuel suffered a fractured skull. The Lagos Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team took custody of the boy, and Mary was arrested.

A woman called police to report that a man has farted in her apartment because she refused to have sex with him, police in Sweden said.

Laholm police said that the woman, who was not identified, complained that the man left a very bad odor in her apartment.

According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded on Sunday. The man and the woman discussed having sex in her apartment, but she refused.

In order to take revenge, the man stormed to the door, but before leaving, he farted, stinking up the apartment. The woman said that she found the smell very disturbing.

So far, no charges have been filed as police were unable to determine if the man had a malicious intent.

Three 6-year-old girls try to kill classmate by poisoning her with silica gel

(Scroll down for video) Police launched an investigation after three young girls tried to kill their classmate by poisoning her food with silica gel, police in Alaska said.

The Anchorage Police Department said that the three 6-year-old girls were not arrested, but officers spoke to them about the seriousness of their plot.

According to Winterberry Charter School Principal Shanna Mall, the girls planned to use silica gel packs, commonly found in bottles of medicines and pre-packaged foods to keep away moisture, to kill their classmate.

While silica gel is non-toxic, the tiny beads can get lodged in the throat and represent a choking hazard, especially for young children.

The girls thought that silica gel is toxic.

The school has 228 students, with a waiting list of more than 400. The three girls will return to school after their suspension period.

Man gets 18 months jail for biting off his fingertips to avoid arrest

A man who was arrested on a charge of escape, was sentenced to serve 18 months in prison for biting off his fingertips, prosecutors in Ohio said.

Prosecutors in Summit County, said that 24-year-old Kirk Kelly of Tampa, Florida, pleaded guilty to escape, tampering with evidence, obstructing official business and resisting arrest.

Kelly was pulled over at 3:00 a.m. by police. The car had expired tags. Police said that Kelly gave false names as they tried to identify him, but they recognized his tattoos from a photo that was sent to them by the police in Florida.

Kelly was wanted on a charge of violating probation for selling drugs and firearms.

Chief Ronald Williams said that when Kelly heard that officers were preparing to scan his fingerprints on a portable device, he bit off the skin.

Hospital flushes dead baby down toilet as mother demands body for burial

(Scroll down for video) A woman of Florida, filed a lawsuit against a hospital after a worker allegedly flushed her dead baby down a toilet despite the fact that she wanted the body for burial, according to court documents.

Linda Gomez of Palm Beach, said that the Wellington Regional Medical Center ignored her when she asked for the body of her dead child.

Gomez wanted to bury the body according to her religious beliefs.

According to the lawsuit, Gomez is seeking an unspecified amount for damages after going the hospital because she was experiencing bleeding.

When she went to the bathroom while waiting to see a doctor, she had a miscarriage. After being unable to get help, she cut the umbilical cord herself.

A hospital worker who went into the bathroom, flushed the toilet and told Gomez to return to the waiting room. Gomez said that she watched in horror as her baby, born four months prematurely, disappeared.

Gomez then asked the hospital to recover the child so that she could give the baby a funeral, but her request was denied.

Fire captain steals expensive book while fighting fire inside residential home

A fire captain was arrested on a charge of theft after allegedly stealing a book while fighting a fire in a residential home, police in Washington D.C. said.

Captain Alan Noznesky of the D.C. Fire Department was placed on leave after being charged with one count of theft for stealing a $270 book from the private home.

He was charged with one count of second-degree theft.

According to the police investigation, the fire department responded to a report of a fire in the 3000 block of Gates Road NW around 7:15 p.m.

Around 10:30 p.m., a fire investigator told a police officer at the scene that the captain took a book from inside the house and hid it under his black jacket before taking it to the fire truck.

The captain denied the accusation, saying he was just trying to move the book to a safe place. The book was identified as Airline Visual Identity 1945-1975 by M.C. Huhne.

A man of South Korea, was arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly beating his wife on an airplane while celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said.

72-year-old Hyongtae Pae was detained at the Honolulu International Airport, after the flight heading to Japan, returned because of his violent behavior.

Pae told the FBI that he did not want to sit in his seat during meal service so he went to the back of the plane to do yoga and meditate.

He became angry when his wife and the United Airlines flight attendants told him to return to his seat. Pae pushed his wife because she was trying to stop him and he felt that she was sticking up for the flight crew.

He then assaulted passengers who tried to force him back to his seat. He threatened to kill passengers and was screaming that there was no god.

Pae was furious because he felt the flight crew was giving him orders. Pae is retired farmer who traveled to Hawaii, to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.

It was the first trip to Hawaii for the couple. Pae recently took yoga classes to help with anxiety. He also claimed that he was sleep-deprived as a result of the vacation.

Pae told the FBI that had not slept in 11 days.

Dog surprises its owner bringing home bag of marijuana

A dog owner called the police to report that his pet brought home a bag of marijuana, according to a police report in Mississippi.

The Jones County Sheriff's Office said that officers went to the home of the dog that brought its owner a gift.

The owner told the officers that his dog brought home the bag, and he first thought it was just garbage. When he looked inside, he saw leaves and it smelled like marijuana.

He immediately called the police. Officers confirmed that the bag contained about a pounds of marijuana. No charges were filed.

“On Saturday, Jones County Deputies were dispatched to the 200th block of Will Hayes Road. The owner of a family pet brought to the home a large bag with a substance that was believed to be marijuana.

“The owner thought it was a bag of trash the dog had brought from somewhere nearby and tore open at the house. When the owner got a closer look, he smelled what he thought was marijuana.

He then saw the leafy substance. It is not known from where the bag was retrieved,” the Jones County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.

A husband and wife are behind bars for having sex with students in unrelated cases.

The husband and wife were arrested within days of each other.

Police in Alabama, arrested the couple who work at the same private school in Carrollton.

Both were charged with having sex with a student while they were employed at Pickens Academy, according to the Pickens County Sheriff's Office.

The wife, 30-year-old Charli Jones Parker, is the head coach for the girls basketball team. She also teaches physical education.

Her husband, James Parker, 32, is a math teacher, and is the basketball coach for the boys team. Both were charged with on one count of being a school employee and having sex with a student.

“The incidents involving the husband and wife are separate and unrelated in place and manner of commission,” Pickens County District Attorney Chris McCool said.

Woman uses razor blade to cut open dead relative’s stomach to try to save unborn twins after hospital refused to help

People in Cameroon, are outraged after a video was released, showing a family member cutting a woman’s stomach in an attempt to save her babies.

The incident began when 31-year-old Monique Koumateke, was rushed to a hospital by family members after she became ill.

Koumateke was in her ninth month of pregnancy. However, when she arrived at the hospital, she was already dead.

The midwife and nurses on duty at the Douala's Laquintini Hospital, refused to help the woman, saying that she was dead and she needed to be handed over to the people at the mortuary.

“The mortuary attendant came, examined her and said that the babies were still kicking inside the stomach,” Koumateke’s mother, Marie Sen, said.

They begged the midwife and nursed to save the babies, but they refused to help. In a desperate attempt to save the babies, a family member took a razor blade and cut Koumateke’s stomach open.

One baby was no longer alive when delivered. However, witnesses said that the second baby was still alive when it was removed, but died shortly afterwards.

Police arrested the midwife and nurses, and they are investigating the incident.

After the arrests, Health Minister Andre Mama Fouda caused more anger by saying that the staff at the state-run institution had done nothing wrong.

Judge Ayah Paul Abine went on Facebook, to vent his frustration over the incident. He is demanding that Fouda, hold a press conference “in order to provide satisfactory answers to our questions.”

Koumateke left behind two children who are three and 5 years old.

(Scroll down for video) A man came up with a new gun that looks like a cellphone.

CEO Kirk Kjellberg of Minnesota, invented the double-barrel .380-caliber handgun that is small and looks like a cellphone.

Kjellberg, who is a legal gun owner, said that he was inspired to create the concealed weapon after he was in a restaurant, and a child told his mother that he was carrying a gun.

Kjellberg decided to create a gun that is more concealed and does not alarm people around him. He then came up with the unique compact design. He calls his company Ideal Conceal.

Although the gun is not yet on shelves, Kjellberg said that he got more than 4,000 requests for the sleek weapon.

The gun will be sold for $395. Kjellberg said that law enforcement officers have also reached out to him. They want the device to train officers on how to recognize it during security screenings.

(Scroll down for video) People were shocked to find a goat dangling from electric wires.

A group of men in Greece, decided to rescue the goat using their work ladder.

The team used a long ladder to help the goat that somehow got stuck in some wire and was hanging about 20 feet above the ground.

The goat was hanging by its curly horns, which had been caught in the wire, and although goats like to climb, people are not quite sure how it ended up hanging there.

The animal was hanging on the pole on a steep hill. One man climbed the hill, tied a rope to the animal's legs and attempted to pull it to safety.

The rest of the group attempted to use the ladder to push the animal upwards so it can reach the ground.


Meanwhile, two other men climbed the steep rock wall so they could help their colleague. The men were finally successful and managed to free the animal.

The goat then ran down the hill and walked onto a road before it disappeared. Giannis Goulas uploaded video of the rescue to Facebook, where it went viral.
