Funeral home uses 3D printers to fix dead bodies damaged by accidents or fires

A funeral home in China, announced that it is offering its clients a service to give the dead much needed facelifts using 3D printers.

Longhua of Shanghai, said that its employees use 3D printers to restore bodies damaged in accidents, natural disasters or fires.

After restoring the bodies, they appear younger and more attractive than before they died. Until now, artists used make up for damaged bodies, but the results often fell short of expectations.

Longhua is the first funeral home in the country to use 3D printers. The technology can restore the appearance of the faces to about 95 percent, and correct disfigured bodies.

The technology was used on the faces of firefighters who died in an explosion in Tianjin. The estimated cost to fix a body is $700.

55-year-old man rushed to hospital for surgery after having sex with vegetable on farm

A middle aged man was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries after having sex with a vegetable, doctors in Costa Rica said.

Surgeons at the Hospital San Juan de Dios in San Juan, said that they have removed a cassava from the 55-year-old man who inserted it into his behind.

The cassava was shaped like a sex toy and was about 18 inches long. The man is said to be in stable condition. According to the man, he wrapped the vegetable with condoms and inserted it into his behind.

However, a piece of the vegetable broke off and remained inside the man. The surgery lasted over an hour, and that included reconstructive procedures to the patient’s intestines.

Cassava is similar to a potato.

Police called after Daimler shareholders fight over free hot dogs during shareholder meeting

It seems like Daimler shareholders are more concerned about their hot dogs than Mercedes.

Police in Germany, were called to the annual Daimler shareholder meeting after a fight broke out over hot dogs.

Berlin police said that the incident unfolded on Tuesday around 12:00 p.m.

The company said that it ordered 12,500 hot dogs for the expected 6,000 shareholders who planned to attend the annual shareholder meeting.

However, when one shareholder decided to pack up some hot dogs for his family members, a fight broke out. As the fight turned violent, police were called to defuse the situation.

No arrests were made.

In response, the company said that for their next shareholder meeting, they plan to order much more hot dogs in order to prevent fights.

Daimler is the parent company of Mercedes.

Young man suffers from male period every time his girlfriend gets her period

A young man of the United Kingdom, has revealed that he suffers stomach cramps every time his lover gets her period.

22-year-old George Fellowes of Reading, said that he so in love with his girlfriend, 21-year-old Amber-May Ellis, that he suffers a male period every time she gets her period.

Fellowes went to a doctor after suffering from stomach cramps and mood swings once a month.

The doctor told the college student of the University of Reading, that he suffers from psychological issue connected to his girlfriend.

Fellowes revealed that he sometimes gets really sick and needs to take time off. The doctor believes that it is a psychological thing because he is very close to his girlfriend and they feel the same emotions.

During the last three years, Fellowes got his male period like clockwork every month. He suffers similar symptoms as women during their periods, but the only exception is that Fellowes does not bleed.

The male period causes pain in the lower abdomen and groin area. He gets very cranky, very erratic and angry with most of his friends.

The doctor advised him to take pain reliever.

Teenager asks 8-year-old boy to be her date at prom and he accepts

The overjoyed boy accepted the proposal.

Shelby Butler of Georgia, grew up next door to Alex Richards, and has watched him battle cancer.

Butler was diagnosed with leukemia when he was just 4 years old. He underwent treatment and he became better.

Last year, the cancer came back and he received a life-saving bone marrow transplant from his sister. Sadly, the family recently learned the tragic news that the cancer cells have returned.

Butler decided to invite Richards to prom on Saturday. She held two signs. One read: “Superman is cool because he has x-ray vision. Superman is cool because he scales tall buildings.
Batman is cool because he drives the fanciest car on the planet. Alex is cool because he never stops fighting.”

The second sign read: “I would like my superhero Alex to be my date to the prom.” Underneath were two boxes so he can check yes or no. Alex checked yes.

Alex’s mother Sheri Richards, said that her son is looking forward to the event.

Grandmother takes newborn baby hostage at gunpoint and fires one shot during dispute with baby’s father

Police in Gwinnett County, arrested 57-year-old Laurie Morgan, after a five hour hostage situation.

The incident took place at 3:00 a.m., when Morgan kidnapped her 4-week-old grandson at gunpoint. Cpl. Michele Pihera of the Gwinnett County, said that at one point, Morgan went outside with the baby in her arms and fired at least one shot.

Officers eventually broke into the home, took the baby and arrested Morgan.

Morgan was charged with aggravated assault and reckless conduct. The baby was safely reunited with his distraught parents.

Investigators said that their was a fight between Morgan, who was possibly intoxicated, and Christopher Massie, the baby's father, before she took the baby at gunpoint.

Woman hides recorder in hair extensions to record doctors during surgery and hears them making fun of her

(Scroll down for video) A woman hid a recorder in her hair so she can hear what doctors and hospital staff do during surgery.

Ethel Easter of Harris County, Texas, hid the small recorder in her hair extension after she had an unpleasant encounter with her doctor.

The bad blood between the two began when Easter wanted an earlier appointment for the surgery. She was told that she will have to wait two months to have her hernia surgery.

Easter said that she told the surgeon that she was too ill to wait two months. According to her, the doctor replied: “who do you think you are? You have to wait just like everybody else.”

When the date of her surgery finally arrived, Easter hid the recorder in her hair. As soon as she fell asleep, the surgeon was heard talking about her with colleagues.

The surgeon and other hospital staff were heard laughing and making disparaging comments about Easter.

The surgeon was heard saying: “She is a handful, she had some choice words for us in the clinic when we didn’t book her case in two weeks.”

He then went on to describe how Easter threatened him that she was going to call a lawyer and file a complaint.

A man was then heard laughing. Another male voice was heard saying: “That doesn’t seem like the thing to say to the person who is going to do your surgery.”

Easter was offended by what she heard after waking up.

Female soldier beaten unconscious by two jealous colleagues after catching her kissing another soldier

Two jealous male soldiers were arrested for beating their colleague who was caught kissing another man.

18-year-old Private Melissa Centeno is the first and only woman assigned to her unit in Fort Hood, Texas.

She was invited to a house party on Saturday, which was held for her and her colleagues, and she agreed to attend.

During the party, she went into a room with another soldier and the two began kissing. Two men suddenly entered the bedroom and saw the two kissing.

The men became angry and confronted Centeno. She left the room and went into the bathroom. When she came out, the men abused her and beat her up.

Centeno fell unconscious and she suffered a concussion, a ruptured eardrum, wounds to the face and bruises all over her body.

The suspects were identified as the party's host, combat engineer Jacob Andrew Avila, and former active duty soldier Lucas Curtis.

“We're still trying to figure out why and what the motive is for this one. They are not former boyfriends or anything like that,” Copperas Cove police Sgt. Martin Ruiz said.

Avila turned himself in to police. He was later released after posting $6,000 bail. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Curtis.

Passenger changes his clothes numerous times and chases flight attendant who refused to serve him crackers and cheese

A man was arrested on a charge of endangering an aircraft after allegedly acting in a threatening manner and running after a flight attendant who refused to serve him, police in Ireland said.

Belfast police said that they have arrested 42-year-old Jeremiah Mathis Thede, after being accused of causing the United Airlines Boeing 777 from Rome, Italy, to Chicago, Illinois, to make an emergency landing at the Belfast International Airport.

According to the police investigation, Thede became agitated and demanded to know the name of the flight attendant who refused to give him, crackers and cheese.

Sheila Wire, who was the flight attendant in charge of the suspect, said that Thede threatened fellow passengers and placed discarded food on the floor.

The captain of the plane that was carrying 264 passengers decided to land at the Belfast International Airport after concerns about the Thede’s behavior.

Four passengers were prepared to subdue Thede if he gets out of control. After the plane landed, police removed him from the flight.

The Antrim Crown Court was told that Thede first had an encounter with Lisa Hall, who was in the back of the plane when the suspect wanted crackers and cheese.

Thede chased after her with a pen and demanded to know her name. Thede then kept standing up from his seat and walking around despite the fact that the seat belt light was turned on.

He also changed his clothes numerous times, causing passengers to get scared. The aircraft had to dump thousands of gallons of fuel before making the unscheduled stop.

Passengers of Flight 971, were forced to wait nearly 24 hours before the plane could take off again.

Young woman gets prison sentence after roommates called police to say that she swallowed abortion pills

A young woman was arrested on a charge of supplying a poison with intent to procure a miscarriage after her roommates saw her swallowing abortion pills in order to end her pregnancy, police in Ireland said.

Now, the 21-year-old woman of Belfast, who was not identified, has been sentenced to serve three months in prison, but the term was suspended for one year.

According to the police, officers received a call from the woman’s roommates, saying that she bought abortion drugs online and used it to end her pregnancy.

Police officers who arrived at the scene, found a male fetus inside a black bag in a bucket. The court heard that the woman told her roommates that she tried to arrange an abortion in England, but was unable to cover the costs.

She was then informed by a clinic that two drugs could induce a miscarriage, and she can purchase them on the Internet.

The woman bought the drugs and swallowed them. After having the miscarriage, her roommates became angry with her attitude towards abortion and called the police.

A mother in Australia, has warned parents about the dangers of allowing kids to play with toilet seats after her son got into trouble.

Satoko Kelty said that she had to call an ambulance after her 2-year-old son Yugen, managed to get the toilet seat around his neck.

She was unable to take it off and paramedics had a hard time removing the seat as well. The Northfield fire department was called, and firefighters had to cut the toilet seat in order to free the child.

Kelty said that she purchased the toilet seat in order to potty train her child.

Although she kept the Peppa Pig-themed seat out of her son’s reach, he manages to get a hold of it and forced it around his neck.

Kelty warned other parents to be careful with toilet training seats.

Bomb squad called after children found sex toy at nursing home

Police officers called the bomb squad after a group of children found a sex toy at a nursing home and rehab center, police in Utah said.

Price police said that the incident unfolded on Friday night, after the group of children found the strange-looking object at the Pinnacle Nursing and Rehab Center.

According to the police investigation, the children were going through a vacant tent when they found the suspicious device.

They quickly showed it to the adults at the nursing home. Staff members could not identify the object, which had batteries and wires, and they called the police.

Police were not sure what the object was so they called the bomb squad. After inspection of the item, it was determined that the device was not a bomb, but a homemade sex toy that vibrates.

The sex toy was returned to its owner, police said.

Man locks up his four wives and sells them for sex to other men

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on a charge of sex trafficking after allegedly locking up four women in his apartment and selling them for sex with other men, police in Michigan said.

Detroit police said that they have arrested 32-year-old Ryon Travis, after being accused of keeping his wives locked in his apartment and inviting men to have sex with one of them at a time in exchange for cash.

Travis was charged with sex trafficking, fraud or coercion, and producing, possessing and distributing child pornography. He was booked into jail, and denied bail. If convicted, Travis faces up to life in prison.

According to the police, when officers entered the suspect's home to investigate identity theft and fraud, they confiscated two cellphones.

Police also found three women in the home, but Travis told them that they were his wives.

Investigators found images of child pornography on the phones, including pictures of children under 12 years old having sex with adult men.

About two weeks later, police raided the home, where they found a fourth woman chained to a stripper pole by the neck with a padlock.

The women told the police that Travis was selling them for sex, and they had been in the house for two years. When buyers came to see them, they would have to pay money upfront before choosing one woman.

Woman charged with drug possession claims she stored her friend’s drugs in her private parts

A woman who was arrested on a charge of drug possession told police officers that the crack pipe she kept in her private parts belonged to her friend, police in Florida said.

23-year-old Tiffany Flores of Fellsmere, said that she should not be charged with drug possession because she was just storing the crack pipe in her private parts for her friend following a traffic stop.

Flores was charged with introducing contraband into a correctional facility, drug possession and tampering with evidence.

She was booked into jail, and her bail was set at $11,000.

According to the police, officers were following a vehicle in which Flores was a passenger.

After police pulled over the vehicle, officers found a small bag of cocaine lying on the road. Flores confessed that the cocaine belonged to her, and said that she just bought it.

Flores was taken to jail, where said that she could not go through a scanner because she was pregnant. Officers took a pregnancy test, which came back negative.

She was ordered to go through the body scanner, and police notices a strange object inside her private parts. Flores was ordered to hand the item over to the police, and it turned out to be a crack pipe.

Flores claimed that her friend threw the crack pipe on her lap, and she was asked to store the item in her private parts when police started following them.

Burglar sent to hospital after police ordered doctors to remove stolen ring from his esophagus

(Scroll down for video) A burglar who was arrested on a charge of theft for stealing a ring, was sent to a hospital so that doctors can remove the stolen loot from his esophagus, police in California said.

Martinez police said that they have arrested 36-year-old Joel Steffensen, after being accused of breaking into a home and stealing a ring before swallowing it.

Steffensen was charged with burglary, evasion of police officers and resisting arrest. He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $1.3 million.

According to the police investigation, Steffensen broke into a home and stole a wedding ring. The owner called the police, and officers chased after him as he tried to escape.

Steffensen crashed his car into a fence, while he was trying to speed away. After the accident, an x-ray revealed that he had the ring in his esophagus.

Police ordered doctors to remove it. Doctors removed the ring and it was later identified by the owner of the home.

Father leaves baby alone in car while getting lap dance at strip club

A father was arrested on a charge of child abuse after allegedly leaving his baby alone in a car outside a strip club while getting a lap dance, police in California said.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said that 24-year-old Auwin Dargin, was charged with one count of child abuse after being accused of leaving his 9-month-old daughter alone in a car while buying sexual services at a strip club.

If convicted, Dargin faces up to six years in prison.

According to the police investigation, on Wednesday, Dargin left his baby daughter in the car for about an hour while going into the strip club approximately 2:00 p.m.

The baby was found alive in the car by employees of the club and an employee of a neighboring business who then rescued her and a confronted Dargin as he stepped outside of the club.

They refused to hand over the child and called the police. The manager of the Synn Gentleman’s Club, confirmed that Dargin got a lap dance.

Baby dies after parents forgot where they put him during drinking binge

A four-week-old baby of the United Kingdom, died after his parents went on a 24-hour drinking binge and forgot where they left him.

Baby Freddie Neil of Lancashire, was found wedged between his brother’s bed and a wall. The baby was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

His parents, Matthew Neil, 34, and Kim Smart-Neil, 32, were arrested and charged with neglect and manslaughter. However, prosecutors now dropped the charges, saying that there was not enough evidence to prosecute.

The couple has since separated and are no longer in a relationship. The court heard that the couple had been drinking with friends until the early hours of the morning.

The mother remembered caring for her baby around 5:00 a.m. Her husband who works as a DJ, stayed up with the baby until around 6:00 a.m., when their friends left.
A court heard that Neil, who was “extremely tired and intoxicated,” thought that he placed Freddie into his crib and he has no idea how the baby got into their other son's room.

Neil woke up around 12:00 p.m. the following day, and heard their toddler crying. He was found without his diaper and he had pooped on the floor.

When Neil went to check on the baby, he did not find him in the crib. The couple began looking for the child as they did not remember where they left him.

He was found between the bed and the wall of the toddler’s bed.

Social worker locks neighbor's dog into his own yard and shoots it dead in front of distraught owner

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested after taking revenge against his neighbors by shooting their dog.

Brokenhearted Alexis Lemmon, 21, of Perris, California, posted a graphic video of the incident on Facebook. The video shows how her neighbor, Christopher Samuel, deliberately shooting the dog.

Samuel, 54, originally told police that he shot the dog in self-defense. However, after reviewing the video, police determined that he was not in danger in any way.

Samuel was arrested on charges of animal cruelty and negligent discharge of a firearm.

According to a family member of Samuel, he and Michael Lemmon, the dog’s owner, had issues before this incident. On the day of the incident, Samuel was allegedly taking photos of guests who arrived at Lemmon’s home.

This led to an argument between the neighbors. While they were arguing, Lemmon’s dog ran into Samuel's yard.

Samuel immediately closed his gate, locking the pitbull inside. He then got his gun and shot the dog while the distraught Lemmon begged him not to hurt the dog.

Alexis Lemmon posted the video on Facebook, where she wrote: “Christopher Samuel slaughtered my dad’s dog right in front of him. He locked him in his yard, shot him, then shot him a second time in the head to make my dad even more angry.

“Please do not let this murderer get away with this just because he his a social worker. This is evil and I am traumatized. The dog wasn't even attacking, it was running away with his tail between his legs.”

Public buses now accommodate breastfeeding mothers with privacy curtains

Mother is China, can now breastfeed their babies on public buses in privacy.

Pingxiang became one of the first cities to accommodate breastfeeding mothers by offering special seats that allow them to breastfeed in private while using public transportation.

The city installed curtains in a number of buses. A track was placed around the seat that are now known as the “breastfeeding seats.”

The seats are located near the doors of the buses. Mother’s can close the pink curtains around themselves for ultimate privacy.

Other passengers can use these seats when there are no mothers on board. When a mother with a baby gets on to the bus, the driver will inform her to take the special seat.

Mother commits suicide so son can use insurance payout for medical treatment but did not realize policy has expired

(Scroll down for video) A mother wanted to sacrifice her life so that her son can live a comfortable life.

The mother of China, was very distraught over her son’s medical condition and his lack of funds to pay for his hospital stay.

She wanted to help pay for his mounting medical bills, but she did not have the money so she committed suicide.

The woman left a suicide note, explaining that she decided to kill herself so that her son can use the money he receives from her insurance policy to pay for his hospital bills. “I'll be fine, I will help you get the money you need,” she wrote.

She was hoping her son would get 300,000 yuan (about $46,000.) Sadly, she died in vain because her policy had expired almost one year before her death.

The 63-year-old woman died after falling nine floors from her son's balcony in Shenzhen.

The son revealed that he was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis, a type of arthritis that left him unable to turn his head or move his hips.

He needs a hip replacement, which is very expensive.
