Midwife loses license after telling women in labor they should have sex to reduce their pain

A midwife lost his job after being accused of telling women in labor that they should have sex to reduce their pain, according to the Nursing and Midwifery Council of the United Kingdom.

48-year-old Ronald Lock of Weston-super-Mare, gave one woman a drug and told her she will feel like she is being f***ed while he was treating her in the Southmead hospital in Bristol.

Lock pleaded guilty to all charges against him, and he banned from practicing in the country.

According to the investigation, Lock told pregnant women that sex would help them to absorb protein and lower their blood pressure.

In another incident, Lock told staff members at a hospital that his wife had just had an operation in another hospital so he could take some time off.

His wife never had surgery. Lock was also accused of failing to keep babies warm and not checking on new mothers during his entire shift.

The offenses occurred over a period of three years.

Rich man uses Plenty of Fish dating website to meet and rape women

A rich man was arrested on a charge of rape after using the Plenty of Fish dating website to meet and rape woman, police in Australia said.

31-year-old Kat Berry of Victoria, said that she went out with the man, who was not identified, after he asked her out on a date.

They went out to eat and drink before they both went to her place for the night. After watching videos together and drinking alcoholic beverages, things turned into a nightmare, according to Berry.

The man grabbed Berry, held her down and raped her. She suffered severe bruising to her neck breasts and private parts.

Berry filed a complaint with the police, but it took several months to track him down.

Berry said that she was told that the man had raped several women after meeting them through the Plenty of Fish dating website.

After a lengthy trial, the man was found not guilty.

Berry uploaded pictures of her bruised body on Facebook, in order to warn women to be careful when they go out with men they met on the Internet.

Bride dumps groom on wedding day and marries someone else because groom did not build her a toilet

After canceling her wedding, the 25-year-old woman of Lucknow, got married to another man who promised her a toilet of her own in his home.

Family members of the woman explained that the wedding plans between the 25-year-old woman and the man was finalized after he agreed to build her a toilet in his home.

The couple agreed that on the wedding day the groom will show off the new toilet to the weddings guests and then get married.

However, on the day the wedding was supposed to take place, the woman learned that the groom has not kept his promise, and no toilet was built.

Family members supported her decision not to marry the man.

An organization stepped in to help the sad bride, and found her a man with a toilet in his home who agreed to tie the knot, and they got married.

Kanye West sued for tricking fans by saying his new CD will only be on Jay Z's Tidal streaming service

People are mad after being tricked by Kanye West into signing up for Jay Z's Tidal streaming service.

West went on social media, where he announced to his loyal fans that his latest CD will only be available through his friend Jay Z's Tidal streaming service.

The rapper said on Twitter: “My album will never, never, never be on Apple, and it will never be for sale. You can only get it on Tidal.”

Many fans signed up for the service just so they can hear his new music. However, after they were locked into the contract,
The Life Of Pablo soon became available on Spotify, Google Play, and even on his own personal website.

Justin Baker-Rhett, who filed the class action lawsuit, claims that the announcement by West caused subscriptions at Tidal to skyrocket.

The sudden spike in subscribers allegedly brought Tidal in an addition $84 million, saving the company from shutting down.

Along with West, the lawsuit also names Jay Z's company Carter Enterprises, and Tidal.

The plaintiff alleges that about two million fans bought subscriptions based on the tweet.

Artist and cake maker spend 300 hours to build life size edible wedding gown

(Scroll down for video) An artist, a cake maker and a bakery owner produced a great looking wedding gown that is completely edible, and they have put it on display in the United Kingdom.

Artist Ilnka Rnic, 17, cake sculptor Sylvia Elba, 38, and founder of Fun N Funky Cakes Yvette Marner, 43, spent 300 hours to create the Weddible Dress, which was put on display at the at Cake International London.

The white wedding gown stands about six feet tall, and it weighs around 175 pounds. The cake was built with 80 pounds of fondant, 7 pounds of cake lace and some 2,000 sheets of wafer paper.

All decorations were glued onto the dress with about 10 bottles of edible decoration liquid.

At first glance, it seems like a real wedding gown, but the team warned that the cake cannot be worn by a bride and is just for decoration.

The Weddible Dress is believed to be the first ever edible wedding dress.

Woman steals friend’s cat and threatened to harm it if she is not given $20

A woman was arrested on a charge of extortion after allegedly stealing her friend's cat and threatening to harm it if she is not given money, police in Florida said.

Gainesville police said that they have arrested 22-year-old Madeleine Joan Kaye, after being accused of sending threatening messages to her friend in exchange for the return of her cat.

Kaye was charged with one count of extortion threats.

According to the police investigation, the owner of the cat posted notices that her gray kitten went missing and she asked the public to help her find her pet.

On Thursday, Kaye sent the woman several text messages, saying that she had the cat and was willing to return it for $20.

Kaye also threatened to do something bad to the cat if she is not given money. The woman called the police who spoke with Kaye in order to convince her to return the cat.

Kaye denied having any knowledge about the cat. After being arrested, Kaye admitted to sending the text messages while drinking with friends.

She said that the messages were part of a prank, and she does not know what happened to the cat.

Man rapes and kills dog because it killed his lizard

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on a charge of animal cruelty after allegedly raping and killing a dog that killed his lizard, police in Washington said.

Thurston County police said that they have arrested 33-year-old James Leroy Evans, after being accused of raping and killing the 3-year-old dog that belonged to an 8-year-old boy.

Evans was charged with first-degree animal cruelty. He was booked into the Thurston County jail, and his bail was set at $50,000.

According to the police investigation, Diamond was kept as a service dog for an 8-year-old boy. The dog had been living temporarily with Evans, who was a relative of the owner.

Evans offered to watch the dog until the owner found a permanent home that allowed dogs. At some point, the dog was found hanging from a tree.

Evans admitted to raping and killing the dog because it killed his pet lizard. A necropsy showed that the dog had been sexually assaulted before being hanged.

The dog died of asphyxiation.

72-year-old bus driver sexually assaults 10 children under 12 years old before giving them candy

(Scroll down for video) An elderly bus driver was arrested on a charge of sexual assault after allegedly sexually assaulting numerous children while being transported to and from school, police in Florida said.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office said that they have arrested 72-year-old Carlos Ojeda, after being accused of giving the special needs student candy in exchange for being allowed to touch their private parts.

Ojeda has been charged with 10 counts of sexual battery. He was booked into the Polk County Jail, and he was denied bail.

According to the police investigation, Ojeda drove a school bus for three different schools, Horizons Elementary, Boone Middle, and Ridge Community High.

The school board has suspended him without pay. According to the police investigation, Ojeda sexually abused students with special needs under the age of 12 years.

All the victims traveled on Ojeda’s bus.

The abuse came to light after a student at Horizons Elementary told his school counselor that he saw Ojeda putting his hands down the pants of two different girls on several occasions.

Two additional victims have been identified.

Two girls who are under 12 years old, said that they were sexually abused by Ojeda at least once each while riding on his bus.

Both victims have said that Ojeda gave them candy after abusing them.

Patient jumps out of ambulance while being taken to hospital before getting run over by cars on highway

(Scroll down for video) A man died after jumping out of an ambulance and into heavy traffic on a highway, police in Georgia said.

Atlanta police said that the patient was restrained in the ambulance before running across several lanes of traffic.

As 22-year-old Andrew Hill was running back to the ambulance, he was struck and killed by a Honda Accord.

The incident occurred as the patient was being teleported to the Grady Memorial Hospital for an evaluation early on Monday morning.

He suddenly became agitated and removed his restraints. The ambulance stopped on the shoulder of the highway before the patient got out and ran across five lanes of traffic.

Photographer gets shot and killed while taking video of people shooting their weapons

A photographer was shot and killed while he was busy taking photos and videos of people shooting their weapons, police in Alaska said.

Anchorage police said that the victim, 30-year-old Adam C. Malaby, was shot around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Police officers who arrived at the scene of the shooting found people performing CPR on the victim. According to the police investigation, Malaby stepped into the line of fire while trying to record people shooting in the area.

Malaby was shot by a person using a .40-caliber pistol. Police said that it was an accident, and even though the area was not designated for shooting, people gathered there for target practice all the time.

Malaby was taken to the Providence Alaska Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. So far, no charges have been filed.

Judge orders teenage wife to testify against husband who began a sexual relationship while he was her teacher

A judge ordered a young woman to testify against her husband.

The husband of Alabama, was a teacher when he and his student began having a sexual relationship.

The judge in Blount County, has ruled that the young woman must testify against her husband, who was charged with a crime because of the relationship.

Judge Dennis E. Odell ruled that Amy Nicole Cox, who was 18 years old when she married 38-year-old Matthew Shane Wester, is not protected by spousal privilege.

The judge said that the special spousal privilege does not apply in a case where one spouse is the victim of the other.

Five months after Wester was arrested on a charge of a school employee having sexual contact with a student, he married her.

Teacher travels across state lines to secretly have sex with her 13-year-old former student

A teacher was arrested as she arrived to a hotel to have sex with her former student.

The teacher of North Carolina, has been accused of trying to have sex with her 13-year-old former student of Virginia.

24-year-old Kathleen Capitano was charged with four counts of use of communication systems to facilitate a crime against a child, according to the Fairfax County police.

Capitano used to live and teach in McLean, Virginia, before moving to Shallotte, North Carolina, where she continued to teach math.

The teacher set up a time to meet her former 13-year-old student at the hotel around 1:00 p.m., but when she arrived, police were waiting for her and she was arrested.

Police said that they met with the boy and his parents after they learned about the teacher’s intentions.

Capitano has been placed on paid leave from her job at the Shallotte Middle School, pending the outcome of investigation.

Man gets arrested for sending his wife and child a gift

A man was arrested after his wife told police that he sent her a gift.

The man of Georgia, was charged after sending his wife and son a gift package, police in Martinez said.

The man knew that he was not allowed to contact his wife because the couple is separated and she took out a temporary protection order against him.

According to a sheriff's officer, 23-year-old Chandler Bradley sent his wife and son a package containing gifts. The package also had a note inside that read: “I'm going to jail anyway.”

He was right. The woman called the police, and showed them the note and the restraining order. She then asked them to arrest her husband.

Bradley confessed to sending the gifts along with the note. He was arrested on a charge of stalking.

People get high on fumes after police set fire to large amount of marijuana

(Scroll down for video) People in New Zealand, got high on fumes after police officers burned drugs that they seized.

Officers were burning a large amount of illegal marijuana in Turangi, which they seized, but they did not realize that they were smoking up the entire area.

Adam Green, who was near a supermarket, took video of the heavy smoke coming from the police station.

Green said that the smoke that was coming out of the chimney, was spreading to the New World supermarket’s parking lot and it smelled like cannabis.

Taupo District Area Commander Warwick Morehu apologized for the incident and said that they will be looking for another location to burn drugs in the future so that the fumes do not affect people.

Man arrested for failing to help drowning teenager

Prosecutors in Austria, announced that they have filed charges against a man who did not rescue a drowning teenager.

The teenager died after she jumped into a lake naked for a midnight swim.

The man who accompanied the girl, is being charged by the police after he did not call for help and instead, tried to cover up the incident.

The tragedy happened along at the Traunsee Lake in Gmunden, where 19-year-old Johanna P. was out with her 21-year-old friend.

The two had allegedly been drinking together before they went out for a walk on a small wooden pier, where Johanna decided to jump into the lake for a swim.

When she did not resurface, her friend panicked. He allegedly grabbed his clothes, the woman’s cellphone and other valuables, and ran away from the scene without calling for help.

Police allege that when he got home, the man destroyed the woman’s phone and tried to pretend that nothing had happened.

Prosecutor Christian Hubmer said that man is facing charges for failing to provide assistance, damaging property and trying to cover things up.

“He did not even call emergency services, and when he finally owned up, he said that the two had been drinking heavily. He apparently panicked because he believed that it was partly his fault that the teen had decided to go for a swim and he had not stopped her,” Hubmer said.

Wedding guest suffers severe burns after helium balloons exploded

A wedding guest was rushed to a hospital after helium balloons that he was holding in his hands exploded.

The incident took place before the wedding of Maria R. in Austria, where part of the celebration involved the bride being welcomed loudly by a group of single men.

In preparation, the group of young men filled balloons with helium and tied them to a fence on a lawn, where the wedding was to take place.

The men said that they planned to pop the balloons all at once when the bride arrived.

However, the fun ended in disaster when 18-year-old Andreas W. was burned when two balloons he was holding suddenly exploded.

Andreas was taken to a hospital by air ambulance about 3:20 p.m. The wedding was supposed to begin at 4:00 p.m.

Andreas was taken to a hospital in Salzburg, where he was treated for first and second-degree burns to his upper body and hands.

Andreas missed the wedding, and he remained in the hospital for a day.

Man drowns while saving his daughter’s life just hours before his father’s funeral

(Scroll down for video) It was a very sad day for a family, who lost two members in a very short time.

Police in Florida, have confirmed that the father of a 6-year-old girl died while saving her from drowning just hours before the funeral of his own father.

28-year-old William (Bill) Moritz was at the beach in Jacksonville, when a strong current began to pull his daughter Maddy underwater.

The father managed to rescue her before he drowned on Saturday at 10:45 a.m. Lifeguards pulled him from the water, and both, father and daughter, were rushed to a hospital, where Moritz was pronounced dead.

Maddy survived. She was treated and released from the hospital on Saturday night.

His family said that Mortiz came to Florida from Michigan, for his father’s memorial service that was supposed to take place on the same beach, where the tragedy occurred.

Mortiz was very close to his father who died two weeks earlier, a family member said.

Lifeguards said that the waves were extremely dangerous at the time, and they had rescued several others.

The Moritz family canceled their father's funeral for that day.
