Bombardier builds new airplanes with wider seats and larger windows to accommodate big passengers

(Scroll down for video) Overweight people who want a more comfortable ride when flying overseas, can now book flight with airlines using the all new plane from Bombardier, which is based in Canada.

Bombardier Commercial Aircraft announced the delivery of the first C Series aircraft.

The first plane was delivered to Swiss International Air Lines.

“The aircraft performed exceptionally well during its acceptance flight, as expected,” said Thomas Kluhr, Chief Executive Officer of SWISS.

“Along with the CS300 aircraft that we’ve also ordered, the C Series fleet will allow us to perfectly tailor our capacity to demand on various European routes, while providing an excellent travel experience for our passengers.

“We congratulate Bombardier and our own SWISS teams on this milestone delivery as we now turn our focus to the CS100 aircraft’s entry into service,” added Kluhr.

The C Series aircraft as the first right-sized aircraft in the 100 to 150-seat market segment in nearly 30 years.

The first CS100 aircraft is scheduled to enter service with SWISS this week, with its maiden commercial flight taking passengers from Zurich, Switzerland, to Paris-Charles de Gaulle in France.

SWISS will gradually replace its Avro RJ100 fleet with the C Series aircraft.

Additional C Series aircraft will be used to replace other existing aircraft as well as permit moderate future growth.

The C Series family of aircraft, representing the fusion of performance and technology, is a 100 percent all-new design that offers operators up to $13 million extra value per aircraft.

Bombardier has placed considerable emphasis on cabin design to ensure a superior passenger experience.

The aircraft offers 19-inch-wide seats that set a new industry standard, large overhead bins that accommodate a carry-on bag for each passenger, and the largest windows in the single-aisle market.

Together these attributes create a wide body feel that offers passengers an unparalleled level of comfort.

5-year-old boy sticks watch battery up his nose where it stayed for six months causing burns to his nostrils

A little boy in China, was taken to the hospital after a bad smell came out from his nose along with a strange liquid for six months.

Doctors at the Hangzhou Normal University Medical College, which is located in Hangzhou, removed a small battery from his nose.

5-year-old Xiao Bao, who is a super fan of Iron Man, decided to put the watch battery up his nose six months ago. The battery became lodged within the child's nose, creating a constant nasal discharge.

The nasal discharge was so bad that the other children in his apartment complex labeled him a monster. The situation worsened when a bad smell began to emanate from the child's nose.

Doctors removed the battery from his nose, but it had already corroded and burned his nostrils. The acid also damaged his bone and cartilage separating the nasal cavity in the two nostrils.

The medical team said that they will not be able to operate on the nasal cavity until the child reaches the age of 18, because it is too risky to perform surgery at this age.

Doctors expect the boy to continue to suffer from a stuffy nose, bleeding and some breathing problems.

(Scroll down for video) A woman in Thailand, jumped off her toilet seat and fled in panic after a long snake crawled out of the bowl while she was relieving herself.

38-year-old Nareerat Sri-nhampong of Chonburi, said that she jumped off the seat just in time before the snake was able to bite her.

Sri-nhampong called for help, and a team of animal control officers arrived at the scene to look for the snake. The officers used a hammer to smash the tiles of the bathroom to find the snake.

After an hour of banging, the officers found the reptile hiding in a hollow space under the floor. When they finally managed to get the python out of its space, they placed it in a secure bag and removed it from the scene.

The snake measured 15 feet long. Sri-nhampong revealed that several months ago, she was bitten on the leg by a snake while using the toilet.

She does not know whether it was the same snake.

Unborn baby dies after hospital turned away woman in labor due to lack of space

The Health and Social Care Inspectorate in Sweden, launched an investigation after a woman in labor lost her unborn baby.

In September, the 35-year-old woman arrived at the Skane University Hospital in Lund, to begin the induction of labor.

She was told to return the next day, so she could be induced.

The decision was made because there was no room available for the woman.

The woman was sent home despite showing signs of preeclampsia, which may have contributed to the death of the unborn baby.

On her way home, she began experiencing headaches and contacted the hospital, but she was told to wait until she has regular contractions.

When she returned the next day, her unborn child was dead.

The hospital admitted that the incident would probably have had a different outcome if the woman had been allowed to stay.

The hospital also noted that the number of rooms in the maternity department will be expanded in the near future.

A spokesperson for the hospital apologized to the mother and her family.

Teacher banned from seeing her own teenagers after having sex with students as part of her bucket list

(Scroll down for video) A mother was banned from seeing her own teenage children after having sex with her teenage students.

The 49-year-old mother of Pennsylvania, was a special education teacher’s assistant at the McKeesport Area High School, when she slept with her students.

Michelle Mellinger pleaded guilty to having sex with five teenage students and trying to have sex with another.

Mellinger knew that her actions were wrong as she told one of the students in a text message: “I just became a pedophile.”

She told another student in a text message that having sex with him was on her bucket list.

She pleaded guilty to five counts of institutional sexual assault, statutory sexual assault and one attempted assault. Prosecutors said that the students were aged between 15 and 17.

Mellinger has been sentenced to 11 and a half to 23 months in prison, and after that, she has to serve one year of house arrest and five years probation.

She was also ordered to have no contact with teenagers, including her own two kids.

Leaflets call for ban on dogs in Manchester to keep Muslims pure

People of the United Kingdom, were shocked and outraged by the new campaign to keep dogs off the streets of Manchester.

No one knows for sure who is behind the leaflets that were placed in mailboxes in homes in Greater Manchester.

Some residents believe that it is connected to a campaign group called “For Public Purity.”

The leaflets read: “This area is home to a large Muslim community. Please have respect for us and for our children, and limit the presence of dogs in the public sphere.

“Keeping the purity of the public space enables the Muslims to remain untainted and without blemish.

“As part of this effort, we have chosen to address one of the aspects that can have a detrimental effect on the purity of the public space, with the aspect being the presence of dogs, which are considered impure in Islam.”

Naeem Hassan, who is a councilor in Cheetham Hill and has lived in the community for more than 30 years, called the leaflets nonsense and he told the public to ignore them.

39-year-old Fayyaz Ali, who is Muslim, said that he has two dogs. He believes that the leaflets are meant to incite hatred in the community. Ali said that no Muslim organization would have printed such leaflets.

Police officer leaves loaded gun in public toilet after girlfriend broke up with him by text message

A police officer is facing a charge of professional misconduct after allegedly leaving a loaded gun in a public toilet, according to police in Sweden.

Jamtland police said that the officer, who was not identified, placed his loaded service weapon on the floor of the department toilet and left.

The public has access to the bathroom. Luckily, the gun was found by his colleagues, who alerted their superior officer. A professional misconduct charge was filed against the officer.

During questioning, the officer told investigators that before going to the toilet, he received a text message from his girlfriend, notifying him that she ended their relationship.

The officer became very distraught, and his thoughts were elsewhere when he placed the weapon on the floor of the bathroom.

The officer has received an official warning. A panel ruled that news of a breakup does not excuse negligent conduct.

Large eagle grabs 7-year-old boy and tries to fly away with him during wildlife show

A little boy screamed in panic after a large eagle grabbed him and tried to fly away during a popular wildlife show in Australia.

A crowd of stunned spectators watched the huge bird grab the 7-year-old child's head during the show at the Alice Springs Desert Park in Flynn.

Witnesses said that the bird tried to pick the boy up like prey.

The boy managed to escape with just a slight injury to his face.

The attack left the child crying and bleeding. The attack lasted just a couple of seconds before the park staff intervened. The show was stopped after the attack.

The boy was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The park issued a statement, saying that on Wednesday, an incident occurred at the Alice Springs Desert Park, where an eagle made contact with an audience member.

The parks launched an investigation into the circumstances behind this incident. The eagle was removed from the show, pending the outcome of the investigation.

Police officers remove Tim Hortons coffee cup stuck on head of skunk

(Scroll down for video) Two compassionate police officers in Canada, stopped to help a skunk that had a coffee cup stuck on its head, according to a video that was uploaded to the Internet.

On Wednesday, at approximately 2:15 a.m., Officer Kyle Van De Sype was on his way home after a hard day of fighting crime in Winnipegosis, when he observed the starving skunk with a Tim Hortons coffee cup stuck on its head.

Out of concern for the animal, he called in his backup, Officer Catlin Lang. The two members pondered their options and formulated a detailed rescue plan.

The two officers placed a large yellow tarp over the skunk for protection against getting sprayed as they worked to remove the coffee cup from the skunk’s head.

After implementing the high-risk “tarp and trap” maneuver, the cup was removed and the skunk was set free with the ability to eat again.

No officers were sprayed during this incident.

Monks buy 600 pounds of lobster from many vendors so they can release them back into the ocean

(Scroll down for video) A group of Buddhist monks bought 600 pounds of lobster just so they can drop them back into the ocean.

The monks of Canada, bought the lobster from different locations around Prince Edward Island.

The monks from the Great Enlightenment Buddhist Institute Society, then held a ceremony during which they prayed over the sea creatures.

They then removed all the rubbers that were holding the lobster. They placed the dozens of cases of lobster on a boat, and they released each one lovingly back into the sea.

Although the monks are vegan, they said that their actions were not meant to encourage people to become vegan, but instead, they did it to teach people to be more compassionate.

“We respect everyone's dietary choice, so we're not doing this to convert everybody to be vegetarians or vegans,” they said.

“This purpose is to cultivate compassion. It doesn't have to be lobster, it can be worms, flies or any other animal,” they added.

The monks want people to “drive slower so not to run over little critters on the street.”

Police in Florida, have released an adorable mugshot of a fugitive dog.

The Tarpon Springs Police Department took to Facebook, to explain the reason behind the mugshot of the dog.

Police wrote that officers found the dog that ran away from its home. The dog was found wandering around without supervision.

The officer took the dog to the police station, where it was booked as if it was a runaway suspect.

One officer held the dog up while another officer took its “booking photo.” They took fingerprints of the dog the same way they do with human suspects.

Police then released the photo on social media in an attempt to locate the dog’s owner.

This worked well as the owner came to the police station to claim the dog.

Officer wrote on Facebook: “Willow refused to tell officers where she lived so she was taken to the police department, where she was booked and photographed.

“She was very cooperative with officers and probably one of the most friendly prisoners we've ever had in custody.”

27-year-old mother of 6 children has sex with men in chicken coop to save enough money to move to Florida

A mother of six children was arrested on a charge of prostitution after allegedly having sex in a chicken coop in exchange for cash, according to police in Wisconsin.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office said that they have arrested 27-year-old Sarah Bradehoft, after being accused of advertising her sexual services on backpage.com.

Bradehoft was charged with child neglect causing bodily harm, recklessly endangering safety and prostitution. An undercover police officer set up a meeting with Bradehoft, after she created an ad on backpage.com.

Posting under the name Sabrina Clark, she offered sex in exchange for cash. Police have also been receiving complaints that Bradehoft was neglecting her six children, who are under 10 years old.

Family members told police that Bradehoft moved into their home after leaving Florida. Bradehoft told officers that she had five customers, and had sex with them in the chicken coop on the property.

She said that she needed money to return to Florida. The two-year-old child of Bradehoft, tested positive for amphetamine, methamphetamine and cocaine.

Child Protective Services took the six children into custody.

Naked woman flips over boyfriend's car for dumping her after having sex

A woman was arrested on a charge of battery for allegedly crashing her vehicle into her boyfriend's car because he dumped her after having sex, according to police in Florida.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 25-year-old Brianda Nayeli Ramirez, after being accused of following her boyfriend when he dumped her and crashing into his car.

Ramirez was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail, and her bail was set at $7,500.

According to the police investigation, Ramirez was naked when she flipped over her boyfriend’s car by intentionally hitting it with her vehicle on Roosevelt Street.

The man told officers that Ramirez was upset that he wanted to end their relationship. When he left her home to go to his aunt’s house, Ramirez followed him.

Ramirez told officers that her boyfriend had sex with her before leaving the apartment. She did not have time to get dressed because she wanted to follow her boyfriend.

Ramirez revealed that the man is her only source of income and pays for her apartment, car and insurance.

Woman steals credit card from dead car crash victim and buys beer and cigarettes

A woman was arrested on a charge of theft after allegedly stealing the credit card of a car crash victim instead of helping him, according to police in Tennessee.

Greenbrier Police said that they have arrested 26-year-old Brittney McCoy, after being accused of arriving at the scene of the crash, where she stole the wallet of 67-year-old Ronald Lewis Clinard.

McCoy was charged with theft, burglary, tampering with evidence and the fraudulent use of a credit card. She was booked into the Robertson County Jail, and her bail was set at $37,000.

According to the police investigation, McCoy was the first person to reach Clinard, after crashing his red Chevrolet pickup truck.

McCoy did not try to help the victim and instead, she stole his wallet and left. Another man, who was the second person on the scene, called for help.

McCoy went to a nearby store, where she bought cigarettes and beer. A gun was reported missing from the scene of the accident.

When the wallet was not found at the scene, the Clinard family called the bank, and were informed about McCoy’s purchases.

Investigators reviewed surveillance video, and saw McCoy using the victim’s credit card.

Clinard drove on the highway when his truck crossed two lanes of traffic, hit a grassy embankment and went in the air before it stopped in a section of trees.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dog owner gets locked up in jail after pet tested positive for meth

(Scroll down for video) The owner of a dog was arrested on a charge of animal cruelty after his pet suffered convulsions and tested positive for meth, according to police in California.

Fontana police said that they have arrested 21-year-old Isaiah Nathaniel Sais, after his dog suffered seizures and convulsions due to meth consumption.

Sais was charged with one count of animal cruelty. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center, and his bail was set at $50,000.

According to the police investigation, the Chihuahua named Jack Sparrow, suffered from seizures and convulsions when Sais brought him to the emergency center on Tuesday.

When the dog tested positive for meth, Sais left the building with it, declining the request of the vet to treat Sparrow.

Fontana Animal Services went to the dog’s home shortly after that and seized it. It was still suffering and showing other signs of neglect.

Sparrow is recovering in an animal hospital.

Drunk man named Christopher Schmuck teaches teens how to use a gun in grocery

A man was arrested on a charge of reckless endangerment after allegedly showing teens how to use a gun inside a grocery, according to police in Pennsylvania.

The Carlisle Police Department said that they have arrested 39-year-old Christopher R Schmuck, after being drunk and waving his firearm at the Quick Stop Deli.

Schmuck was charged with weapons violations, reckless endangerment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $50,000.

According to the police, officers were called to the Quick Stop Deli located at 601 West Louther Street on Friday, on a report of a male with a gun.

Officers who arrived at the scene, found Schmuck at the front of the business. Schmuck concealed a 45 caliber Glock handgun in his waistband.

Further investigation revealed that Schmuck was highly intoxicated and was attempting to provide gun safety instructions to two teenagers.

At one point, the weapon had a live round in the chamber.

Schmuck did not have a license to carry a handgun.

Restaurant taunts police officers by putting a lot of hot sauce on their food

(Scroll down for video) A police sergeant said that he is very frustrated with the lack of respect shown to police officers.

Two Police officers of North Carolina, went to a restaurant to order food for lunch.

They were not treated nicely. Instead, they were mocked and harassed by the workers, according to Cleveland County Capt. Joel Shores, who said that “he was angered, but not surprised by the incident.”

The wife of one of the officers took to Facebook, where she described the unpleasant and disturbing incident that was perpetrated against her husband.

The woman said that her husband and his partner went into Zaxby's restaurant in Shelby. They were both on duty and in their uniforms when they were being ridiculed.

“They ignored the insults and continued ordering. Then, as they sat down to eat their food, my husband realized that the workers had put the hottest sauce possible on his chicken wings to the point that his food wasn't even fit to eat,” the wife wrote.

Shores said that as soon as his officer placed the food in his mouth, his lips began burning.

The company said that they will investigate the incident while the franchisee refused to comment on the incident.

Pokemon Go helps woman catch her boyfriend cheating with his former girlfriend

A man is blaming his being caught cheating on his misjudgment while playing Pokemon Go.

Evan Scribner of Queens, New York, said that he is now single due to Pokemon Go, as he was caught picking up a Pokemon character at his former girlfriend's apartment.

Pokemon Go has only been in the market for a short time, and it is already receiving blame for at least 11 robberies and a stabbing.

Now, the man blames Pokemon for his break up. Scribner claims his girlfriend him discovered his cheating through the mobile game.

Scribner said that his girlfriend went through the history of the game, which allows people to see where one picked up Pokemon characters.

In the history, the woman saw that Scribner picked up a Pokemon character at the home of a former girlfriend in Brooklyn.

Scribner said that his sneaky girlfriend broke up with him, seeing that he has been at his former girlfriend’s home thanks to the Pokemon game.

Man beats friend with frying pan for urinating on couch where someone had to sleep after party

A man was arrested for hitting his friend for urinating on his couch.

Police in Uppsala, Sweden, were called to a home after the man hit another in the head with a frying pan.

The 40-year-old suspect was arrested on a charge of assault after hitting his friend for urinating on his couch during a party.

Police officer Tommy Karlsson said that the victim “peed on a couch that someone was supposed to sleep on that night.”

The victim was taken to a hospital for minor injuries.

Police said that they took a pet tortoise from the home so they can look after it while its owner was away as it “would otherwise have had to be left home alone.”

“This is the first time we had to take care of a tortoise here,” Karlsson said.

Arrogant rich man abuses bus driver and boasts that his suit costs more then the driver earns in six months

(Scroll down for video) An arrogant rich man is making headlines after his outburst and abuse of a bus driver was caught on video.

The irritated man was riding on a bus in British Columbia, Canada, when he decided to take out his anger on the bus driver.

The man reportedly wanted to smoke a cigarette on the bus, but the driver would not allow him to do so.

However, the arrogant man ordered the driver not to talk to him again before telling him to go back to his country.

The man then began to boast about his wealth. He told the driver that his suit costs more than the driver earns in six months

He walked up to the driver and showed him that he was wearing an Armani suit, which has a price tag of $2,600. The man then boasted that he owns three condos.

The passenger reportedly told the driver to stop talking to him and instead call the police, but the bus driver just ignored him and did not call for help.

A video of the incident was uploaded to the Internet, where it went viral.

Man freaks out after finding live worms in Morrisons broccoli while cooking dinner

(Scroll down for video) A man of the United Kingdom, was disgusted to see live worms crawling on his broccoli while cooking the vegetable for dinner, according to a video that was uploaded to the Internet.

27-year-old Luke Allison-Gordon of Nottinghamshire, said that he spotted the worms minutes before consuming the broccoli.

He took a video of the worms and uploaded it to social media sites. Allison-Gordon said that his friend also found live worms in his broccoli.

They both purchased the broccoli at Morrisons. Morrisons apologized to Allison-Gordon, and offered him free vouchers.

Allison-Gordon, who owns and operates the customer service firm Allison Gordon LTD, said that he will not be using his free vouchers to buy broccoli.

Morrisons said that it investigating the incident and is in talks with their supplier.

Woman suffers kidney failure after being licked by her pet dog

A woman nearly died from kidney failure after getting an infection from her dog, according to doctors in the United Kingdom.

The 70-year-old woman of London, first developed slurred speech and lost consciousness.

An ambulance rushed her to the hospital, where her condition improved, but four days later, she suffered from confusion, headache, diarrhea and high fever.

Finally, her kidneys began to fail. Blood tests revealed that she had sepsis or blood infection, which led to the organ failure. Her blood contained Capnocytophaga canimorsus, an infection caused by cats and dogs.

However, the woman did not have any scratch marks, swelling or broken skin. When the woman recovered, she said that she hugged her dog and her pet licked her.

The woman was treated with antibiotics.
