Company creates ice cream that never melts just in time for the hot temperatures

Gastronaut Ice Cream

(Scroll down for video) A company based in New York, has announced that it has successfully produced great tasting ice cream that never melts.

Gastronaut Ice Cream is the world’s first freeze dried frozen treat with all organic ingredients and no artificial coloring.

So far, the company has produced three flavors, Mexican Chocolate Chip, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Cookies & Cream.

Depending on the level of interest, additional flavors like Chocolate Hazelnut and Peanut Butter will be produced in the future.

Robert Collignon, who is the founder of Gastronaut Ice Cream, said that he started experimenting with the idea 2 years ago in his Brooklyn apartment.

He made his own ice cream with high quality ingredients and found that when freeze dried, it tasted much better than the neapolitan “astronaut ice cream” he’d been eating since he was a kid.

Collignon said that his goal was to bring a high level of flavor and quality to a freeze dried ice cream bar because it had never been done.

Ice cream melts everywhere you take it, especially when living in a van with no fridge, but the freeze dried version lets consumers take the ice cream anywhere they travel.

The ice cream that never melts is also good for those who don’t want to sit in an office holding a melting ice cream looking like a weirdo, the company said in a statement.
