Pastor dies after fasting 30 days during bid to emulate Jesus who fasted 40 days

A pastor of South Africa, attempted to be like Jesus by fasting for a long time.

Congregants of the church said that the 44-year-old pastor tried to emulate Jesus who fasted for 40 days and 40 nights.

However, Pastor Alfred Ndlovu died of malnutrition after 30 days without food. He was found in an area with a lot of bushes, where he spent his days in prayer.

His body was found by a man passing through the area. The unidentified man alerted police who informed his family and congregation of his death.

His family and church members said that they were surprised by his death, saying that Ndlovu was a very “spiritual person whose faith could move mountains.”

They also said that the pastor had no history of illness and was "healthy as a horse" when he left for the spiritual journey.

Shoplifter drives off dragging police officer with her car

(Scroll down for video) A woman placed her life and the life of a police officer in danger after she was trying to get away with stolen goods.

31-year-old Kristina Marcy was confronted by a police officer outside a Dollar General in South Carolina, after she was accused of shoplifting.

Marcy, who has already been arrested five times for shoplifting, did not want to go back to jail.

Lyman Police Chief Jay Hayes said that an officer was dispatched to the Dollar General on Charlotte Highway at around 6:15 p.m., on a report of a woman shoplifting from the store.

When the officer arrived, Marcy was already out of the store and in her car.

The officer asked her for her license. She said that she has three purses to look through in order to find it. That is when the officer asked her to step out of her car.

Marcy did not listen to his repeated orders to step out of her car and instead, she began driving off, dragging the officer before he fell to the ground.

Good Samaritans who witnessed the incident, came to help the officer, who suffered minor injuries, including bumps, scrapes, and bruises.

He called for backup and a police chase ensued. Deputies used spike strips to stop the vehicle. Marcy reportedly lost control of the car and crashed. She was taken to the hospital before she was arrested.

She was charged with assault and battery, shoplifting and providing false information to police. Her bail was set at $25,000.

Mother suddenly dies while getting ready to feed her 2-month-old baby

A woman of New York, was overjoyed with the birth of her daughter, but she will not get to raise the baby as she died suddenly.

35-year-old Deanna Rose Gioia, who worked as a nurse in Staten Island, was cradling her two-month-old daughter, Adrianna Rose, as she prepared to feed her.

She then called her husband Richard Gioia, and said: “I don’t feel well.” He immediately went to the room to see what was going on.

Just seconds later, he found his wife unresponsive. She was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The cause of death still remains a mystery. The family hopes that an autopsy will reveal the cause of death as Deanna was in good health and she did not have any complications when she gave birth.

Deanna died just two days before her daughter turned two months old.

Two sisters lose their husbands after one tried unsuccessfully to save the other from drowning

Two sisters who are very close with each other became widows at the same time, when their husbands, who were good friends, drowned.

The two families of Iowa, were on vacation in Missouri, near the Lake of the Ozarks, when they spotted their new Manitou pontoon boat drifting away from the dock, Sgt. Scott White, a spokesperson for the Missouri State Highway Patrol, said.

It was about 8:10 a.m. when 40-year-old Jacob B. Seeman, jumped into the water to stop the boat from floating away.

However, Seeman, who has a history of back spasms, struggled in the water. When his brother-in-law, Dennis J. Michel, 46, saw him struggling, he went to help.

Sadly, both men went underwater and never resurfaced. Their family, who watched the entire incident, called police. The two bodies were found at 10:30 a.m.

The families are devastated over their double loss.

Seeman worked on the family farm while Michel worked for the post office. Their wives own preschools in Ankeny, Iowa.

23-year-old man becomes father to 11 children after marrying his much older lover

A young man took on the responsibly of supporting and caring for 11 children after marrying their mother.

23-year-old Evgeny Golushkov of Russia, was working at a factory, where he packaged meals for airline passengers, when fell in love with his co-worker.

Golushkov said it was love at first sight when he spotted 38-year-old Tatyana Polosukhina.

He mustered up the courage to ask the woman, who is 15 years older then him, out on a date.

However, he was taken aback when he found out that she had 11 children.

Polosukhina and her first husband had 11 children together. Her oldest children are a set of triplets.

Polosukhina said that after her divorce, she thought that she will be a single until her kids are grown. However, just one year later, Golushkov asked her out.

After seeing the woman, Golushkov bonded with her children, and she accepted his marriage proposal.

The couple said that they are not planning to have more children any time soon. They want to focus on the children they already have.

Married actor’s testicles stolen after getting drunk with hot blond woman in bar

(Scroll down for video) An actor in Russia, was horrified to discover that his testicles were stolen after a show.

Police are now looking for the gang of people who are behind the stolen testicles.

Dmitry Nikolaev, 30, told police that had finished a performance at a theater in Moscow, when he decided to go out to a bar.

There, the actor was approached by a young blond woman who began flirting with him, police said.

The woman invited him to a sauna, and although he is married, Nikolaev agreed to go with her.

Nikolaev told police that he remembers drinking beer and making out with the woman, but he does remember what happened after that.

He woke up the next day at a bus stop, feeling acute pain. He then saw blood on his pants. He was taken to a hospital, where doctors informed him that his testicles were removed.

Doctors said that the surgery was done by a professional who had a medical education. Police believe that the actor’s drinks were spiked before his testicles were stolen.

Police fear that Nikolaev was a victim of a gang seeking to sell human organs on the black market.

Ozzy Osbourne's mistress is suing daughter Kelly for shaming her on social media

A homewrecker of California, is suing her lover's daughter for shaming her on social media.

Kelly Osbourne is known for being outspoken, especially when she is wronged.

When she learned that her father had a three-year relationship with his hairstylist, she was not happy and she took to social media to express her anger.

Kelly told her 4.7 million followers on social media: “Anyone looking for cheap chunky low-lights, a blow out and a b*** j**, call.” She posted Pugh’s phone number so people can contact her.

She also accused Michelle of “abusing” her father, by saying: “My father is almost 70, ever heard of elder abuse?”

Kelly’s famous parents, Ozzy and Sharon, were married for 33 years before his cheating ways were uncovered. Sharon is standing by her husband who agreed to get help for his sex addiction.

Now, Ozzy Osbourne's mistress Michelle Pugh, has filed a lawsuit at the Los Angeles County Superior Court for defamation against Kelly saying that she “s**t-shamed, bullied and harassed her.”

Pagh said that Ozzy “made me feel like the most beautiful and worshipped woman in the world.”

Thousands of yogurts recalled on fears they might contain pieces of rubber

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) of the United Kingdom, issued a warning about possible contamination in yogurt, prompting a large recall.

The FSA said that a number of supermarkets are recalling their branded chilled yogurt products, supplied by Yeo Valley, as they possibly contain pieces of rubber.

This means the products are a possible risk to health. The affected products have been supplied to ASDA, Co-operative, Sainsbury, Tesco, and Waitrose.

Yeo Valley said that it is recalling the products from the retailers.

Point-of-sale notices are displayed in stores selling these products, warning customers about the dangers of consuming them.

“As a matter of precaution, Asda is recalling a number of its yogurts as there is a possibility that a small number of these products may be contaminated with rubber.

“No other products are affected. If you have purchased any of these products with the affected Use By dates, please bring these back to your nearest store, where you will be given a full refund.

“You do not need your receipt. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused,” Asda said in a statement.

Man rapes 7-year-old girl inside mosque during prayers

A man was arrested on a charge of rape after allegedly luring a little girl into a mosque, where he raped her, according to police in Nigeria.

Lagos police said that they have arrested 28-year-old Modiu Diallo, after being accused of raping the 7-year-old girl in the Iponri Central Mosque.

Diallo was charged with rape, kidnapping and assault. In court, Diallo pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $1,500.

According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded on Wednesday around 6:00 a.m., while members were praying in another room.

In March, Lagos State Police said that they have arrested 32-year-old Uwem Femi Asuquo, after being accused of raping his 10-year-old niece.

According to the police investigation, Asuquo offered to allow the victim to live in his house after his brother died to ease the burden on his sister-in-law.

However, unknown to Iya Tope, the girl's mother, her brother-in-law raped her daughter on an ongoing basis. At some point, the victim escaped and went to live with her grandmother.

One day, Asuquo arrived at the grandmother’s house and took the girl to a mosque, where he raped her. A neighbor who saw the uncle and the victim together, became suspicious and called the police.

Police officers who arrived at the scene, questioned the girl, who revealed that her uncle just raped her in the mosque. She also revealed that Asuquo, had been having sex with her while stayed at his home.

Thieves use car to break glass doors of phone shop and steal 100 iPhones

(Scroll down for video) Three men were arrested on a charge of theft after allegedly using a car to break the glass doors of a phone shop and stealing 100 iPhones, according to police in Japan.

Wakayama police said that they have arrested 39-year-old Kenji Kido, after being accused of leading a gang of phone thieves who stole $100,000 worth of iPhones from a shop in the city.

According to the police investigation, Kido and two other thieves backed their car into the glass doors of the AU phone shop in order to gain access to the phones.

The three then collected 100 iPhones, and fled from the scene.

Police are still looking for the two other suspects who remain at large. Kido has a long criminal history, police said. Last month, Kido allegedly stole 20 phones from a shop in Kainan.

Earlier this year, Kido was accused of being behind several break-ins in Wakayama.

Parents of newborn baby boy under fire for naming him Wolf

The parents of a newborn baby in Spain, were told that they cannot name their son Wolf as it is offensive.

Ignacio and Maria Javierre had a baby boy at the Hospital de Fuenlabrada, Madrid, on Tuesday.

They filled out the paperwork for the birth certificate, and decided to name their boy “Lobo,” which translates to wolf in English.

The parents claim that Wolf is a gorgeous name, and is equivalent to Lion or Dove.

However, the Registry of Fuenlabrada, notified the parents that they will not accept Wolf as the child’s first name because it might be offensive to the boy.

When the parents asked why they consider Wolf offensive, a spokesperson told them that since Wolf is a last name in the country, it cannot be used as a first name.

The parents rejected the reason because there are many names in the country that are used as first and last names.

The couple has launched a petition on, hoping to collect enough signatures to convince the registry to allow them to name their son Wolf.

After collecting more than 20,000 signatures, a government official notified the parents that they will be allowed to name their son Wolf.

Post office workers panic after venomous viper slithered out of package containing two more snakes

A group of post office workers fled in panic after a venomous snake slithered out of a package that contained two more vipers, according to police in Canada.

The B.C. Conservation Officer Service said that the incident unfolded last week, at a Canada Post in British Columbia.

The package came from China, and it was destined to be shipped to an address in Manitoba.

The Richmond mail distribution branch called police to report the discovery of a live snake that was slithering among packages.

Police officers who arrived at the scene, located the package from where the snake escaped and they found two additional vipers, but they were dead.

The surviving snake was successfully captured and is being handled by specialists. Police warned that vipers are very dangerous, and there is no antivenom available in the country.

It is illegal to possess vipers in British Columbia.

Angry woman pulls hair of woman wearing hijab and holding baby in her arms while shopping at supermarket

(Scroll down for video) A hateful woman was arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly pulling the hair of a woman who was wearing a hijab and holding a baby in her arms, according to police in Canada.

London police said that the victim was shopping for food at a supermarket when she was suddenly attacked by the angry woman.

The 38-year-old woman, who was not identified, was charged with one count of assault. According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded at the Superking Supermarket on Monday around 5:00 p.m.

The victim was wearing a hijab and holding a 4-month-old baby in her arms when the suspect approached and began screaming at her.

The suspect then pulled off her hijab and dragged her by the hair. She was punched in the face and spat upon. Police said that they do not know the motive for the attack.

The suspect was caught after the news about the attack went viral on social media sites and the public called police with tips.

Daycare manager records himself sexually assaulting little boys

A daycare manager was arrested on a charge of indecent assault after allegedly sexually assaulting little boys during work, according to police in Japan.

Ibaraki police said that they have arrested 31-year-old Shun Sakamoto, after being accused of sexually assaulting boy who attended his daycare facility.

According to the police investigation, Sakamoto allegedly touched the lower body of a child at the facility, and he recorded himself doing it to the boy.

Sakamoto, who has been charged with indecent assault, confessed to the assault. In another incident, Sakamoto sexually abused a different boy.

When police learned of the attack, they reviewed his cellphone and found a video of the attack. While reviewing his cellphone, police found numerous sex videos involving children.

Investigators are trying to locate more victims as they believe Sakamoto attacked other boys at his daycare facility.

Man who abducted 2-year-old daughter gives himself up because he did not want to change her dirty diaper

A man had second thoughts about kidnapping his daughter after realizing that he will have to change her dirty diapers, according to police in new York.

The New York Police Department said that they have arrested 39-year-old Leonel Moronta of Brooklyn, after being accused of raping his former girlfriend and kidnapping his 2-year-old daughter.

Moronta is facing charges of rape and kidnapping. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital, after trying to kill himself inside a police holding cell by using pants to hang himself.

According to the police investigation, Moronta broke into the home of his former girlfriend on Monday around 7:30 a.m. He raped the mother of his 2-year-old daughter and fled from the apartment with the child.

A few hours later, Moronta called his former girlfriend and threatened to kill himself and his daughter. Police joined in on the phone line and began talking to the father about taking care of the girl.

When the police offered to change the girl’s dirty diaper, Moronta agreed to meet them and hand her over. Moronta showed up under the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway near Bedford and Wythe Avenues, and gave himself up.
