Three men were arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly hanging a teenager and her lover because they had an extramarital affair, according to police in Pakistan.

Chak 56 police said that they have arrested the woman’s husband, her father and her brother, for hanging 19-year-old Mukhtiar Muhammad on a tree for having sex with 20-year-old Khalida Bibi.

According to the police investigation, the husband, who was not identified, caught his wife having sex with Bibi in the backyard of his home.

He immediately told his wife’s father and her brother about the affair, and the three hanged the mother of three children on a tree along her lover.

The incident unfolded on Thursday around 1:00 p.m.

After police arrested the three suspects, they all admitted to killing the two victims because they were having an extramarital affair.

Man suffering from hallucinations runs on street with two knives after overdosing on kiwi

A man was arrested on a charge of possessing a knife in a public place after being accused of running on the street while holding two knives, according to police in the United Kingdom.

Peterborough police said that they have arrested 40-year-old Piotr Oleksy, after being accused of running into the Park Medical Centre armed with two knives while suffering hallucinations.

In court, Oleksy pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing a knife in a public place. He was sentenced to a 12 month community order and ordered to perform 60 hours of community service.

Oleksy will have to pay 85 pounds ($110) in court costs and an 85 pound victim surcharge. The court was told that Oleksy suffered from hallucinations after overdosing on kiwi and taking a lot of vitamins.

Oleksy told investigators that on Sunday afternoon around 1:30 p.m., he took a lot of vitamin C and amino acid supplements as well as a pound of kiwi.

After a few minutes, he began hallucinating and believed that people were chasing after him. He grabbed two knives and ran out into the street.

Oleksy was disarmed after running into the Park Medical Centre.

When police officers arrived at the scene, he told them that people broke into his home, but when they went to Oleksy’s apartment, nobody was there.

Police launched an investigation after a photo that went viral on the Internet, showed a tied and gagged baby, according to police in Mexico.

Coahuila police said that they have questioned the mother of the 9-month-old girl after Alexa Contreras Mendez found the image on Facebook and notified police.

During questioning, the mother and the babysitter said that the child was tied up as a game among friends. However, police did not accept their explanation, and the girl was removed from the home.

The photo first surfaced on Facebook, showing the girl’s hands tied in front of her body. A cloth was tied around the child’s mouth, and she was crying.

Yezka Garza, who is the head of the Prosecution for Children and Family, said that the child was placed with a loving family after the mother was charged with child neglect.

Police said that the woman of Florida, was arrested for hiding her stash of drugs in a lunchbox that allegedly belonged to her young niece.

A Pompano Beach sheriff's deputy initially pulled over 33-year-old Tasha Sims, because the owner of the car that she was driving did not have a valid driver’s license.

The officer soon spotted a little girl sitting in the front seat of the car, and she was not restrained. The officer also smelled marijuana in the car.

The officer searched the car and found the marijuana inside the little girl’s lunchbox.

Sims was arrested and she faces charges of drug possession and child neglect.

Man is angry after his prank backfired and people vote him in for council for two years

While many people work hard to win their political seat, one man went on the ballot as a joke and he won.

The man of Norway, who is a rock star, is upset that he will have to serve as a council member for two years.

Gylve Nagell, better known as Fenriz, said that he went on the ballot as a prank, with the slogan “don't vote for me.”

Nagell, who is part of the heavy metal band Darkthrone, become a candidate on a back up list for the election in his hometown of Kolbotn.

Nagell explained that someone called him and asked if he wanted to be on the list as a backup representative.

He said that he was told by officials that they wanted more people on their list just to boost numbers.

He was also told that he was number 18 on the list and therefore, he figured that he won’t have to do anything.

Nagell took a photo of himself holding his cat and he wrote: “Don’t vote for me.”

However, people took him seriously and they voted for him. Nagell now thinks that his cat, named Peanut Butter, likely stole the hearts of voters.

Nagell is now forced to serve on the council for two years. As a backup, he has to step in when the other politicians have meetings call in sick, or they take off for any reason.

“I will have to go sit there and feel stupid among the straight people,” he said.

Police officer commits suicide after boyfriend broke up with her days after booking a trip together

A police officer committed suicide after learning the shocking news that her boyfriend dumped her.

Dr. Sara Gilks, 32, of Huddersfield, England, became very depressed when her boyfriend broke up with her, an inquest at the Bradford Coroner's Court heard.

Her best friend, Diane Hirst, told the court that she received a text message from Gilks, after her boyfriend broke up with her, saying: “he has absolutely destroyed me.”

The police officer also told her friend that she did not see this coming as her boyfriend had booked a skiing trip for the two of them shortly before the breakup.

Gilks, who had a distinguished academic career, seemed to have everything going for her. She graduated from the University of Huddersfield with first class honors in forensic and analytic chemistry before gaining a PhD from the University of Manchester.

She then worked as a researcher at the University of Manchester, before becoming a special constable for the West Yorkshire Police.

However, she was left devastated over the break up and she overdosed on pills.

Detective Con Simon Thomas said a review of her cellphone history showed that Gilks had been researching on the Internet for ways of taking her own life.

Toxicology tests revealed that she took a fatal dose of a prescribed medicine. She also left a suicide note.

Married police officer rapes his teenage cousin in his home while wife was asleep

A police officer was arrested on a charge of rape after allegedly raping his teenage cousin while his wife was asleep, according to police in California.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Office said that they have arrested 34-year-old Sergio Ramirez, who is a police officer in Indio, after being accused of raping his 18-year-old cousin who was staying in his home.

Ramirez was charged with rape by force or fear, oral copulation by force or violence and forcible sexual penetration. He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $85,000.

According to the police investigation, the victim was staying at the police officer’s home, and planned to stay at the home until college.

However, one night, Ramirez entered her room while she slept and lied down beside her in bed. She felt uncomfortable, and moved to another room, where she fell asleep on a couch.

She woke up to find Ramirez sexually assaulting her.

After the assault, she fled to a friend's house and then went to Eisenhower Medical Center, where she underwent a sexual assault examination.

Ramirez asked his wife to lie to police and ordered his cousin not to do the exam at the hospital. Ramirez's wife then washed the victim’s clothes to remove DNA from the sexual assault.

Subway restaurant worker electrocutes flies directly over food

(Scroll down for video) A man said that he was shocked to see a Subway restaurant worker killing flies over food.

Justin Clemons of Indianapolis, Indiana, said that he was eating at Subway at 2120 E King Street, when he heard a zapping sound.

He looked up to investigate what was going on, and he spotted an employee holding a tennis racket style fly zapper and killing the flies over the food.

Clemons decided to take a video of the incident and posted it to Facebook and YouTube.

“I couldn't believe what I was witnessing,” he wrote. “This is by far the most unsanitary thing I have witnessed in a restaurant. Subway should be embarrassed. I will never eat there again.”

However, Jeffrey Reeves replied to the YouTube video post, saying that he was also at the Subway restaurant at the time of incident.

He wrote: “The plastic doors that cover the food were closed at the time he was removing bugs. Those covers are always down over the food when no customers are in line and business is slow. If anything, I am glad he is trying to remove the fruit flies.

“People would be amazed to see what restaurant owners have to do to keep food sanitary and safe. Due to produce, I assure you that there are bugs in every restaurant. The food in this Subway is 100 percent safe.”

Body of Delta flight attendant who went missing before takeoff washes up on Rikers Island

(Scroll down for video) Police have found the remains of a flight attendant who went missing from her workplace.

Police said that 30-year-old Sierra Shields of Queens, New York, was at LaGuardia Airport in New York City, where she worked as a flight attendant.

However, before she was supposed to get onto a Delta Airlines flight, she told her supervisor that she was quitting her job, but she did not give an explanation.

She never made it to the plane and she vanished without a trace. Now, eight months after she went missing, police said a human skull and bones washed up on Rikers Island.

The medical examiner's office said on Friday, that the bones belong to the missing flight attendant. They will also determined the cause of death.

A family member told investigators that Shields had reached out to a suicide hotline not long before she went missing.

Three women were arrested over a lottery theft scheme, according to Georgia Police Chief Brennan Baird.

Lottery officials asked police for help after a Ride Aid had an unusual amount of sales in the store.

Detectives set up hidden surveillance cameras with the permission from owners at the Rite Aid store of Danielsville, and they were shocked by what they observed.

The saw three female workers taking money from the cash register to buy lottery tickets. They then scratched off the tickets and they cashed in the winning ones at the register.

Police said that the women did the crime independently and not as a group.

51-year-old Vickie Jean Matthews, who worked at Rite Aid for 19 years, supervised the lottery register. She told police that she was “borrowing” the money and she planned to repay it.

She allegedly admitted to “borrowing” money from the register, to buy lottery tickets since December.

Robin Booth Mathis, 55, and Dianna Eve Farr, 50, were also seen on hidden camera stealing money from the register to buy scratch off lottery tickets.

Police said that when confronted with the evidence, Mathis admitted to taking store money to purchase the lottery tickets for several months, while Farr admitted that she had been doing so for about one month.

All three women were arrested and charged with theft.

14-year-old boy cuts home intruder with power tool in order to save his father from the man’s grip

(Scroll down for video) A home intruder was taken to a hospital after he was cut with a power tool and hit in the head with beer bottles.

Police were called to a home in Salem, Oregon, after the intruder, who was high on bath salts, threatened to kill the family.

14-year-old Jesus Ceja, 14, said that 25-year-old Mario Vega-Navarro, came into their home on 3700 block of State Street SE around 5:00 p.m., and was looking for his aunt and uncle.

Ceja’s father told him that the couple does not live at that address and he ordered the suspect to leave.

However, Navarro returned at 6:00 p.m., and broke into their home, where he threatened to kill the family.

Ceja’s father gave Navarro several warnings and ordered him to leave. Navarro grabbed the father and held on tightly. He scratched the man’s eyes and bit him.

That is when the 14-year-old boy decided to take action. He used a grinder to cut the intruder and beer bottles to hit him over the head.

Ceja was also attacked by Navarro. He bit the boy two times on the fingers before he was arrested.

Paramedics had to sedate Navarro several times before he was taken to the Salem Hospital.

Navarro is being treated under police watch. He faces charges of burglary, assault and resisting arrest.

Police said that the Ceja family will not face criminal charges because they acted in self-defense.

Student thinks her potato chips are covered in black pepper before realizing they are dead ants

A high school student was furious after she ate potato chips at a restaurant that were covered in dead ants.

Emily Wagoner took to social media to vent her frustration over the disgusting incident.

Wagoner of Oregon, went to a Pita Pit restaurant in Beaverton, where she purchased a bag of potato chips to go along with her meal.

She was pleasantly surprised when she saw that the Miss Vickie's sea salt and vinegar flavored chips were covered in seasoning.

However, when she held the chips closer, Wagoner discovered that the chips were actually covered in dead ants. She took a photo of the contaminated chips and posted it to Twitter.

Wagoner said that when she told the Pita Pit manager, she was offered a new bag of chips.

However, they refused to refund the $14 meal after Wagoner lost her appetite due to the horrifying incident.

After the tweet of the bug-infested chips went viral, the Pita Pit headquarters offered Wagoner a $50 gift certificate, but she turned it down.

Pita Pit also said that they are “investigating what led to this isolated incident.”

“We hold our food to the highest quality standards, including pre-packaged items like chips from third-party vendors we partner with, and the health and safety of our guests remains Pita Pit’s highest priority,” they said.

14-year-old boy sets New York City women on fire by using cigarette lighter to ignite their clothes

(Scroll down for video) A boy was arrested on a charge of harassment as a hate crime after allegedly setting women on fire by igniting their clothes, according to police in New York.

The New York Police Department said that they have arrested the 14-year-old boy of Manhattan, who was not identified, after being accused of setting five women on fire.

The boy was charged with attempted assault and aggravated harassment and harassment, all as hate crimes. According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded on Saturday between 8 and 10 p.m.

The first victim, a tourist from Scotland, called police to report that she suddenly felt hot and when she turned around, she realized that her burqa was set on fire.

After news of the attack spread, four more women came forward with complaints about their clothes being set on fire.

All attacks occurred on Fifth Avenue in the vicinity of West 50th Street. Police are looking to arrest four additional suspects in connection with the attacks.

Relative discovers that New York woman lived with dead son’s body for 8 years

A man was shocked to find his relative’s skeletal remains in a woman’s apartment and called the police, according to police in New York.

The New York Police Department said the discovery was made after a woman of Brooklyn, was taken to a hospital.

The woman sent her relative to retrieve some of her belonging.

The relative entered the apartment located at 2111 Avenue N on Thursday around 1:30 p.m., and made the gruesome discovery.

He immediately called the police. Police believe that the bones belong to the woman’s 51-year-old son, who was a taxi driver.

He was last seen 8 years ago, when he was involved in an accident. His family claims that they haven't seen the man in 20 years.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

Neighbors said that the woman was a loner and her apartment was very cluttered. She was taken to the hospital following a fall.

Thief breaks into YMCA and steals fake money from toy cash register

(Scroll down for video) Police are looking to arrest a man on a charge of burglary after allegedly breaking into a YMCA and stealing fake money from a toy cash register, according to police in California.

Indio police said that the incident unfolded over the weekend, while the YMCA was closed.

Investigators believe that the thief might have not recognized the fake money and toy cash register as it was very dark in the room.

Police released video of the burglary in hopes that someone will recognize the suspect.

The video shows the suspect lowering himself from the air condition duct and moving around in the dark YMCA. He then made his way to the toy cash register.

He then took the cash and fled from the scene. The YMCA said that they already made repairs to the ceiling, which the thief broke to gain access to the fake cash.

Married teacher rapes at risk student in her classroom then claims to be victim of extortion scheme

A teacher was arrested on a charge of rape after allegedly raping a boy in her classroom, and then claiming to be a victim of an extortion plot, according to police in New York.

Albany police said that they have arrested 30-year-old Marina Viviani, after being accused of having an ongoing sexual relationship with a 17-year-old at risk boy.

The New York State Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs announced that the former teacher at the LaSalle School, has been charged with six counts including rape and criminal sexual act.

The charges stem from incidents in which the defendant allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with her student in a LaSalle classroom shortly before the student's discharge from a residential program.

The sexual abuse allegations came to light after the married defendant allegedly continued a relationship with the student, which included phone calls, text messages, the exchange of digital photos and travel to New York City.

A family member notified the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department, and they reported the incident to the Justice Center’s Vulnerable Persons’ Central Register.

“When a licensed professional, like the defendant who in this case was a teacher, allegedly abuses her position of authority by committing sex crimes in the classroom against an at-risk youth, that abuse cannot be tolerated,” said Special Prosecutor Patricia E. Gunning.

The defendant was arraigned in Albany County Court before the Honorable Thomas A. Breslin, and was released under the supervision of the Albany County Department of Probation without bail.

Viviani denied the allegations, which she called the "product of an extortion scheme perpetrated by the complainant and his accomplice.

She claimed that the boy wanted she should buy him expenses gifts because her husband was wealthy.
