Nurse kills 8 old patients in nursing homes by giving lethal dose of drugs

(Scroll down for video) A nurse was arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly killing multiple nursing home patients with a lethal dose of drugs, according to police in Canada.

Ontario police said that they have arrested Elizabeth Tracy Mae Wettlaufer, after being accused of killing at least eight elderly people over the course of seven years.

Wettlaufer was charged with eight counts of first-degree murder.

According to the police investigation, Wettlaufer worked as a nurse for the Caressant Care Nursing and Retirement Homes, which operates six facilities.

She became a registered nurse 20 years ago. Neighbors said that Wettlaufer lived alone with her dog.

The victims were identified as James Silcox, 84, Maurice Granat, 84, Gladys Millard, 87, Helen Matheson, 95, Mary Zurawinski, 96, Helen Young, 90, Maureen Pickering, 79, and Arpad Horvath, 75.

(Scroll down for video) A woman was devastated to find her mother lying in her home unconscious after being eaten alive by two dogs, according to police in New York.

The New York Police Department said that 68-year-old Daisie Bradshaw of Staten Island, was killed by her daughter’s two dogs.

On Tuesday around 9:30 a.m., Bradshaw’s daughter walked into the home and found her mother unconscious in the basement surrounded by her two dogs.

She immediately called police. Police officers who arrived at the scene, found Bradshaw covered in bruises. Bradshaw’s daughter told police that her two dogs have eaten her mother alive.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. The two dogs were sedated and removed from the home.

Wife learns that her husband was having sex with maid after parrot repeated their dirty chats

A woman filed a complaint with the police after hearing her parrot talk dirty, according to police in Kuwait.

The woman, who was not identified, suspected that her husband was having sex with their housemaid.

One day, she heard the pet parrot talk dirty. The woman then realized that the bird was repeating the dirty chats of her husband and maid.

The woman brought the bird to the police and filed a complaint of adultery. However, her claim was rejected due to lack of evidence.

Investigators told the woman that the parrot might be repeating words he picked up from a movie.

Man caught traveling at 130 miles per hour because he wanted to get home before his McDonald's French fries turn cold

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on a charge of dangerous driving after being caught traveling 130 miles per hour because he wanted to get home before his dinner turned cold, according to police in the United Kingdom.

Now, 32-year-old Lee Rutherford of Northumberland, has been sentenced to serve 20 weeks in prison, which was suspended for a year, after being found guilty of making a false statement to obtain insurance and dangerous driving.

Rutherford was also ordered to take an extended driving test before being able to drive again. He received a fine of 1,120 pounds ($1,367).

According to the criminal complaint, Rutherford purchased food at McDonald’s, including French fries. He then got into his car and traveled at speeds of 130 miles per hour.

He was pulled over by police and questioned. Rutherford told police that he was rushing home because he wanted to eat his French fries before they turned cold.

70-year-old man lured 11 girls to his home where he bathed and sexually abuses them

(Scroll down for video) An elderly man was arrested on a charge of sexual abuse after being accused of luring multiple girls to his home, where he bathed and sexually assaulted them, according to police in Indonesia.

Now, 70-year-old Robert Andrew Fiddes Ellis of Melbourne, Australia, has been sentenced to serve 15 years in prison after being convicted of sexual abuse in connection with the sexual assault of 11 young girls in Bali.

In addition to the prison sentence, he was also given a fine of $153,000. According to the police investigation, Ellis left Melbourne and went to Bali, in order to engage in sexual acts with young girls.

Over the course of two years, Ellis lured 11 girls, aged between 7 and 17, to his home, where he gave them baths.

Ellis admitted having sex with the girls, but claimed he should not be punished because he gave them a large amount of money in exchange for the baths.

He also told the court that the girls do not want him to be in prison.

Groom divorces bride two hours after wedding because she shared photos of herself on Snapchat

A marriage in Saudi Arabia, ended after just two hours after the bride broke an agreement that she made with her husband before the marriage ceremony.

According to family members of the bride, the husband and wife, who were not identified, made a prenuptial agreement in which each party promised to never share photos on Snapchat, Twitter or Instagram.

The bride did not keep the agreement and shared photos of the wedding ceremony on Snapchat. As soon as the groom learned about the photos on Snapchat, he filed for divorce, citing the prenuptial agreement.

The bride’s family argued that the groom was not being reasonable by filing for divorce just two hours after the wedding ceremony, but the husband’s family agreed with the decision, saying that the woman cannot be trusted.

Former mayor breaks into new mayor's home and steals Swiss army knife

The former mayor of a city in Minnesota, was arrested on a charge of burglary after being accused of breaking into the new mayor’s home and stealing a Swiss army knife.

Now, 34-year-old Joseph Mark Rongstad of Watson, pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree burglary.

Charges of first-degree burglary and trespassing were dismissed as part of a plea bargain agreement with prosecutors. In an unrelated case, Rongstad has been charged with reckless endangerment after firing a gun from his truck.

He told police that he was trying to get away from corpses that were following him. The reckless endangerment charge will be dismissed at sentencing.

According to the criminal complaint, Kyle Jones called police around 7:30 a.m., to report that someone broke into his home and ransacked it.

Jones told police that he suspected Rongstad. When police confronted Rongstad, they found that he had Jones’ Swiss army knife.

They also found Rongstad’s keys and black shirt in Jones’ home.

A Chippewa County district judge ordered Rongstad committed to a mental hospital on the basis of mental illness.

Drunk man runs over his foot with truck after driving away from strip club

(Scroll down for video) A drunk man ran over his foot before crashing into a home while trying to drive home from a strip club, according to police in Florida.

Orlando police said that they are looking to arrest the 28-year-old man, who was not identified, after sending a woman to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, outside the Dancer's Royale strip club on East Colonial Drive.

Witnesses at the scene told police that the suspect seemed to be intoxicated when he left the club. His friends asked him not to drive, but he got in this truck anyway.

After driving several feet, the suspect fell out from the truck.

The truck then ran over his leg. The truck then rolled down the street, hit a ditch and crashed into a house. 58-year-old Barbara Hernandez was sleeping in a room when the truck slammed into her.

She was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not life threatening.

Man hires women to shoot adult videos with him and sends them to their loved ones without paying the promised $33,000

A man was arrested after conning women to have sex with him to make adult videos.

Mario Ambrose Antoine, 33, of Missouri, tricked dozens of women into having sex with him with the promise of paying them thousands of dollars for their services.

He also promised that their videos will be sold to a company oversees with a “zero percent chance of anyone finding out about them,” according to the affidavit.

Antoine made the women sign a contract and a release form. When the sex sessions were done, he told the victims that their checks will arrive in the mail.

However, the money never came. When the women complained, he intimidated them and sent the sex videos to their loved ones and employers, according to the federal indictment.

Antoine pretended to be “Nikki,” a porn talent manager, and he complimented women on their looks via social media and suggested that they audition for the adult video industry for quick cash.

He used a number of aliases and different business names like Playboy Worldwide to get women to audition for the “job.”

He promised to pay them $33,000 for each video, but he never paid the women. Instead, he harassed and extorted them for money or more sex.

Antoine, a former wedding photographer, is being held on 21 federal charges, including cyberstalking, online enticement and extortion.

If convicted, he faces more than 300 years in prison.

Man dresses as meter reader to enter home and kill his former girlfriend’s new boyfriend

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested and is being held without bail for killing his former girlfriend’s new man.

The suspect was seen on video ringing the bell at the home of his love rival while he was dressed as a meter reader.

Willie Bell, 44, was wearing a vest and hard hat that read “Meter Inspector,” when he entered the home.

48-year-old Timothy Lawrence and the suspect never met before the encounter. However, they have been dating the same woman, and that caused Bell to be very angry.

Bell went into the Morgan Park, Chicago, home and spent about one hour there. He then left in plain clothes and got into the victim’s car.

He was seen at a gas station, where he used the victim’s credit card to purchase gas. He returned to the victim’s house and set it on fire.

Lawrence’s body was found burned inside the home. An autopsy determined that he died of a gunshot wound to the head.

Bell, who is a father of one child, was charged with first-degree murder and concealment of a homicide. Cook County Judge James Brown called Bell’s actions “cold, calculated and preplanned.”

Father invited to TV show in an attempt to find missing daughter breaks down and admits to raping and killing her

(Scroll down for video) It was a very shocking day for people of a community in Turkey, when an effort to find a missing girl led to the arrest of her father.

4-year-old Irmak Kupal went missing while playing outside her home in Alasehir.

Her devastated family turned to an investigative TV show, which is known to help families get to the bottom of issues.

Everyone in the family appeared on the show and was interviewed.

When the girl’s father Himmet Akturk, appeared on the show, TV presenter Muge Anli presented questions to him about the disappearance of the child.

Anli, who analyzed all the aspects of the case, asked the father about the sequence of events leading to her disappearance.

He said that the child was playing outside their home when she went missing.

Many people searched for the child in the area, but the search was suspended after police said that the girl had a
genetic foot condition, which means that she was unable to walk too far.

Police then turned the case into a kidnaping investigation.

Meanwhile, Anli and her team of investigators asked Akturk many questions. To everyone’s shock, during the intense interview, the father suddenly broke down and confessed that he raped his daughter before killing her.

Akturk said that he disposed his daughter’s body in a dumpster. However, the next day, when he saw that the dumpster was not emptied, he removed the body and buried it.

He told the television presenter exactly where the girl was buried, and the remains were found.

Akturk was immediately arrested and was subsequently found guilty of raping and killing his daughter. He is now awaiting sentencing.

Man suffocates after falling head first into bin filled with meat waste while looking for food

A homeless man lost his life while looking for food, police in Germany said.

The homeless man died after falling into a garbage bin that was full of meat waste and bones while looking for food outside a supermarket.

The man who was identified as Thaddeus, 56, suffocated after falling into the container head first. His body was found the next morning by workers of the Edekda Supermarket in Lower Saxony.

His flashlight was also recovered from inside the 53-gallon container, according to police.

Investigators viewed surveillance videos from the supermarket, which captured the incident. A police spokesman said that the man fell head first into the bin and he was unable to pull himself out.

A friend said that Thaddeus was a quiet person who did not want to bother anyone. He was just trying to find something to eat when the tragic accident occurred.

Man keeps body of dead friend under his bed after overdosing on drugs

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on a charge of abuse of a corpse after allegedly keeping the body of his dead friend under his bed following a drug overdose, according to police in Pennsylvania.

Hopewell police said that they have arrested 36-year-old Donald Teaford, after being accused of leaving the body of his dead friend under his bed for more than a week.

In court, Teaford pleaded not guilty to one count of abuse of a corpse. He was booked into the Beaver County jail, and his bail was set at $100,000.

According to the police investigation, 34-year-old Justin Cogan died of a heroin overdose last week. Instead of calling for help, Teaford wrapped the body in garbage bags and stashed it under his bed.

After a week, Teaford’s roommate told a friend about the body under the bed. Police were called, and officers found the body under Teaford’s bed.

Teaford tried to mask the smell of the decomposing corpse by using perfume. Toxicology tests were taken, and police are waiting for the results to confirm that the death was an accident.

Man throws tantrum and breaks items because girlfriend refused to watch adult video with him

Police were called after a man had a meltdown and broke items in his girlfriend’s home.

The man was arrested and charged with domestic violence and aggravated menacing after police said that he threw a tantrum because the woman did not want to watch adult movies with him.

The woman of Sandusky, Ohio, called police after her boyfriend, Standford Tye, became enraged when she refused to watch pornography with him, according to police reports.

The woman told police that after she refused his request, Tye started throwing things, including glass, around the apartment while shouting that he would hurt her.

Tye does not live in the woman’s apartment although she said that he keeps a closet full of clothes in her place.

Police said that both the woman and Tye admitted to being intoxicated at the time of the incident. Tye was booked into the Erie County Jail, where he is awaiting a bail hearing.

Prison officer caught with syringe containing inmate's sperm in her purse because he wanted a baby

A prison officer of the United Kingdom, was arrested after she was found to be carrying sperm of an inmate.

46-year-old Alison Sharples, who is a grandmother, was caught with a syringe in her purse during a security search when she arrived for her night shift.

At first, Sharples claimed that she used the syringe to give medicine to her granddaughter.

However, the substance appeared to be sperm and not medicine.

Her former friend, Nicola Ball, allegedly told police that the inmate left the sperm near his cell door in a plastic bag.

It was confirmed that Sharples had an affair with the inmate behind bars.

Investigators tested the DNA from the syringe and determined that it was a match to prison inmate Marvin Berkeley, the Preston Crown Court heard.

In her defense, Sharples claimed that she was given the syringe in the “course of her legitimate duties” by the inmate who “wanted to have a baby with her.”

Sharples was charged with misconduct in public office.

Rapper throws $30,000 in the air and he laughs as homeless people push and scramble to catch cash

Terrell Davis, who goes by his stage name Ralo, is causing controversy with the video #RaloHomelessChallenge that he posted to Instagram.

The 21-year-old rapper of Atlanta, Georgia, went to a homeless shelter, where men and women were waiting to get food.

The homeless people were standing in line with plates in their hands when Ralo and his friends showed up. They opened the sunroof and “made it rain.”

The rapper and his friends threw $30,000 from his car into the crowd of homeless people.

Ralo and his friends watched and laughed as men and women fought one another to grab the dollar bills from the ground.

In his defense, Ralo said that he used to “make it rain” in gentlemen's clubs, but now, he decided to keep his money and “make it rain” for Atlanta’s homeless people.

“I feel like I would rather give my money to those in need because those people probably needed the money more than anything.

“No matter how much good you do people are still going to say something bad about you,” Ralo said.

However, he was not discouraged and said that he will continue throwing his money at the homeless rather than at strippers, and he is encouraging others to take the #RaloHomelessChallenge and do the same.

“If I was hungry, I wouldn’t care if people threw cash to me or handed it to me, as long as I got it,” Ralo said.

Probation officer helps man escape correctional facility and hides him in her house so they can have sex

(Scroll down for video) A female probation officer fell in love with a man at a court mandated corrections facility, where she worked and helped him escape.

Police in Texas, said that four men managed to escape when the fire alarm went off at the Peden Community Corrections Facility in Harris County.

Two of the men called their probation officer for help, and she came to pick them up and drove them away from the scene before police arrived.

Karla McKeown, 37, then took the men to her house, where she continued her sexual relationship with 26-year-old Raymundo Alzamora.

Police were later tipped off and went to her home. They found Joshua Parsons, 27, but McKeown’s lover, Alzamora, was not located.

Alzamora was never captured and is still on the run. While investigating his disappearance, police learned that when officers were in the probation officer's home looking for the fugitives, he was hiding in McKeown’s closet with her help.

McKeown was arrested and charged with two counts of hindering apprehension.

Doctor sexually assaults three women during medical exam for Ambulance and Fire Service

A doctor was arrested on a charge of indecent assault after being accused of sexually assaulting multiple women during medical examinations, according to police in the United Kingdom.

Now, 51-year-old Robert Stephen Lewis of Shefford, has been sentenced to serve two and a half years in prison after being convicted of four counts of indecent assault.

The court was told that the case involved sexual activity between the doctor and three women.

Lewis abused his position of trust as a doctor and took advantage of his circumstances to sexually abuse the women during medical examinations for his own sexual gratification.

He deliberately targeted women he was not likely to see again and disguised what he was doing to ensure that those he assaulted would be less likely to complain.

The women were particularly vulnerable because they were desperate to pass their medical exams in order to secure new or alternative employment within the Ambulance or Fire Service.

Lewis denied any sexual wrongdoing or inappropriate conduct, but he was found guilty of 4 counts of indecent assault after a 4-week trial.

One of Lewis' victims described the impact the assault had on her.

She said: "I clearly remember how I felt when I walked into his consulting room that day. I felt happy, confident and excited about my future prospects. I left feeling humiliated, having been assaulted by Dr. Lewis. I remember feeling powerless, vulnerable, and ashamed."

The statement went on to describe how the victim no longer had trust in male medical professionals and is wary about leaving her child alone with men.

Man eats marijuana that was hidden inside his behind during traffic stop

A man was arrested on a charge of drug supply after allegedly eating marijuana that he hid from police during a traffic stop, according to police in Canada.

Bomaderry police said that they have arrested 37-year-old Hamish Macintyre-Cathles, after being accused of being in possession of methadone and marijuana.

Macintyre-Cathles was charged with one count each of possessing a knife and drug supply.

According to the criminal complaint, police pulled over a vehicle one afternoon, and while they were talking to the occupants, officers noticed bags between two seats.

Police seized the bags, which contained methadone. Officers then told Macintyre-Cathles that he will undergo a strip search in the back of a police van.

During the search, Macintyre-Cathles initially refused to show his behind. When he finally showed his behind, officers saw something hidden in the rectum.

Macintyre-Cathles denied having anything in his behind. He was taken to a police station, where he admitted to eating a small amount of marijuana that was hidden in his behind.

Man breaks into home before stripping naked and cooking eggs in the kitchen

A man was arrested on a charge of mischief after allegedly breaking into a home to cook himself eggs in the kitchen, according to police in Canada.

Vancouver police said that they have arrested the 35-year-old man, who was not identified, after a homeowner caught him cooking eggs in the kitchen while completely naked.

The suspect was charged with one count each of mischief and break-and-enter.

According to the criminal complaint, the homeowner was watching television in the living room around 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, when he heard strange noises coming from the kitchen.

At first, the homeowner thought it was his roommate, but when he went to investigate, he saw a stranger who was completely naked, standing at the stove and cooking eggs.

The homeowner managed to chase the suspect out of his home. The homeowner called police, and the naked man was arrested several blocks away.

The suspect caused damage to the stove and the kitchen.
