A government worker was arrested for stealing a city forklift to move a truck that was blocking her driveway.

Police said that the woman of Cheyenne, Wyoming, was charged for DUI on Saturday, after using the forklift to move the vehicle that was blocking her driveway.

The Cheyenne Police Department wrote on Facebook that Ashley Basich, who works for the state, went to the site where the industrial forklift was parked and took it without the knowledge of her boss.

Her neighbors called police because they were unhappy with the noise she was making at midnight.

Police said that officers found a cooler of beer in the cab of the stolen forklift and Basich was wearing sandals, which is a possible violation of rules to operate a forklift, police said.

New restaurant employs chefs and waiters with Down syndrome

A new restaurant in France, announced that it will employ mainly people with Down syndrome.

The restaurant called Le Reflet, is located in Nantes.

They hired two chefs and four waiters who have Down syndrome. 26-year-old Flore Lelievre, who was behind the project, called the employees with Down syndrome “extraordinary.”

Lelievre said that the six extraordinary employees will work with an ordinary cook and manager who do not have Down syndrome.

The goal of the restaurant is to help integrate people with Down syndrome into society.

Husband beats up his wife because she accused him of snoring

Police launched an investigation after a husband was seen beating his wife, according to police in Nigeria.

Nasarawa police said that 30-year-old Tukur Paul, was questioned on Friday, after he was seen beating his wife, Jennifer Paul, around 9:30 p.m.

Neighbors of the couple managed to intervene and stop the attack before the woman was seriously injured. According to the police investigation, Tukur came home earlier in the evening after having a difficult day.

He went to bed to rest only to be woken up by his wife who complained about his snoring. Tukur became extremely angry and beat his wife.

Tukur told police that he was angry because his wife had not checked up on him the entire day and she disturbed his sleep.

Jennifer denied that she was angry about her husband’s snoring. However, she was angry that her husband disappeared for the entire day without telling her where he was going.

The two, who met 9 years ago, have three children together.

A woman was arrested on a charge of abandoning a corpse after police found the dead body of her husband in the bathtub, according to police in Japan.

Shizuoka police said that they have arrested 61-year-old Yumiko Igarashi, after she was questioned for shoplifting in her home.

According to the police investigation, early in the day, Igarashi was caught shoplifting from a supermarket. Police went to her home, where she was questioned about the incident.

After a few minutes, police officers noticed a foul odor coming from the woman's bathroom. They went inside, and were shocked to see the decomposing body of a man.

Igarashi revealed that her 60-year-old husband died several months ago, and she decided to leave him there. An autopsy was performed to determine the cause of death.

(Scroll down for video) A man in Australia, was shocked to see a large spider dragging a dead mouse across his kitchen.

Jason Womas of Queensland, took a video of the hungry spider dragging the mouse in the home of his neighbor.

Womas said that his neighbor called him as he was preparing to leave work and asked home to come over to his home to see something cool.

Womas arrived at his neighbor’s home, where he was led into the kitchen. He then saw the spider crawling on the refrigerator, and it was dragging along a dead mouse.

He quickly began recording the spider and uploaded the video to Facebook.

“So I am just about to leave for work, and my neighbor says ‘You want to see something cool?” And I say: ‘Hell yeah.’ So we proceed to his place and he shows me this. Huntsman trying to eat a mouse,” Womas wrote on Facebook.

The video went viral, and was seen more than 22 million times.

In a follow up, Womas wrote “Ok guys so just letting you all know that the spider is fine. We have named him Hermie, we have adopted him and he is now running his own extermination business out of our town. Oh and he is now paying rent.”

Two men kidnap a father and kill him over road rage incident before stealing his truck and emptying his bank account

(Scroll down for video) A father of three children was kidnapped from his own driveway by two men over a road rage incident.

William “Bo” Kirk, 41, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, was on his way home from his job at the Northwest Specialty Hospital when he went missing.

His wife told police that he never made it home from work. His body was found three days later, near a shooting range in Hayden Creek.

Police arrested two men in connection with the incident, but only one has been identified. The second man, who is being held in federal custody, is cooperating with police.

The accomplice reportedly told police that 44-year-old David Hutto, became upset over the way Kirk was driving. His rage became so strong that he followed Kirk to his home.

There, Hutto kidnapped the father at gunpoint and drove him to the shooting range where he shot him. The men then further harmed the family by emptying Kirk’s bank account.

Police released a surveillance video of an ATM, showing Hitto driving up to the machine in the victim’s truck. His face was covered and he was wearing gloves. He proceeded to empty out the victim’s bank account.

Hutto is being held on $2 million bail.

Restaurant owner dumped leftover noodles in park for three years to feed hungry birds

A restaurant owner was arrested on a charge of forcible obstruction of business after allegedly dumping noodles in a park for three years, according to police in Japan.

Nagoya police said that they have arrested the 51-year-old restaurant owner, who was not identified, after officers caught him red-handed dumping noodles in the Yada Park.

According to the criminal complaint, officials of a school called police to report that a man was dumping noodles in the park.

They told police that the man has been coming to the park for the past three years and dumping the noodles. Police officers hid in the park and waited for the suspect to arrive.

On Monday, the suspect arrived with buckets of leftover noodles from his restaurant. He was arrested at the scene.

During questioning, he told officers that he did not dump the noodles outside his restaurant because he did not want to attract birds.

He also admitted to dumping the leftover noodles from is restaurant in the park for the past three years. The restaurant owner claimed that he thought it was a good idea because the birds in the park could eat them.

8 men tie up boyfriend before gang raping his girlfriend in front of him

Two men were arrested on a charge of rape after being accused of tying up a boyfriend and raping his girlfriend as he watched, according to police in Nigeria.

Lagos police said that they are still looking to arrest six additional suspects who were accused of assaulting the boyfriend identified as Ganiu, before proceeding to rape the woman identified as Ibiyemi.

According to the victims, they were walking home when they were approached by a group of eight men. They were both beaten and dragged to their home.

The men then tied up the boyfriend, and proceeded to rape the woman in front of him. Ganiu told police that he does not know what prompted the attack.

The suspects live in the same neighborhood as the victims.

Hospital patient suffers serious burns after igniting fire by farting during surgery

A hospital patient suffered serious burns during a surgical procedure after farting in close proximity to a laser, according to doctors in Japan.

The incident unfolded at the Tokyo Medical University Hospital, as doctors used a laser on the cervix of a 30-year-old woman.

There was no flammable material in the operating room during the surgical procedure. A doctor at the scene said that the woman farted, and the gas caused the radiation of the laser to ignite.

The fire quickly spread to the surgical drape, and the patient suffered burns on most of her body, including her waist and legs.

The woman survived, but is still getting treatment for her burns.

24-year-old mother of three and her boyfriend inject heroin in children and call it ‘sleeping juice’

A mother lost custody of her three children after drugging them so that they would go to sleep, police in Washington said.

Ashlee Hutt, 24, and her boyfriend, Leeroy 'Mac' McIver, 25, of Spanaway, were arrested.

Both pleaded not guilty to three counts of second-degree child assault, delivery of a controlled substance to a person under 18 and child endangerment.

The couple was jailed after child protective services received a call about the couple giving a “sleeping juice” to the children so they sleep better.

A CPS worker wrote in a report that Hutt’s 6-year-old son said that his mother gives him and his sisters a “feel good medicine,” which he described as a white powder mixed with water.

He said that his mother also sometimes used a needle to inject the “feel good medicine” in him and his sisters, who are 2 and 4 years old.

All three children were taken to a hospital to be tested for drugs. Doctors allegedly found puncture marks and bruising consistent with them being poked with a needle.

Two children were found to have heroin in their system.

Police found the children living among rat droppings and dirty needles when they visited the house after being alerted to the situation by a friend of the couple.

The children were removed from the home and were placed in a foster homes. Both Hutt and McIver, who allegedly admitted to being junkies, are being held in jail.

14-year-old girl hits and kills her grandmother while getting driving lessons from her father

A grandmother lost her life when she was struck by a car that was driven by her young granddaughter.

The 81-year-old woman of California, was standing near a storage shed when she was struck by the car.

Police who came to investigate the incident, learned that the woman’s 14-year-old granddaughter was behind the wheel at the time of the accident.

The girl was getting driving lessons from her father, when police said that she accidentally pressed on the gas pedal instead of the brake and fatally struck her 81-year-old grandmother.

The victim, who was identified by the medical examiner’s office as Antonia Ramirez De Mendez of San Jose, succumbed to her injuries on Sunday afternoon.

According to police, the incident took place at Chateau La Salle trailer park on Monterey Road at around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

De Mendez was taken to a hospital with what doctors said were non-life threatening injuries. However, things took a turn for the worse and the grandmother was pronounced dead about 24 hours after the accident.

Under California state law, a person must be at least 15 and a half years old in order to obtain a learner's permit. Police are still conducting their investigation. So far, no arrests have been made.

75-year-old woman tries to kill her bankruptcy lawyer because he wanted to withdraw from her case

A lawyer said that he was shocked when his elderly client tried to kill him.

Keith Couture of Madisonville, Louisiana, said that he was working in the back of his office when he heard someone coming in.

He was not expecting anyone at that time, so he went to investigate. He was confronted by an elderly client who suddenly pulled out a gun.

75-year-old Patricia Currie told Couture, who is a married father, that she came to kill him. The attorney jumped into action and after a struggle, he was finally able to wrestle the gun from her.

Currie was reportedly angry after receiving a letter, stating that Couture was trying to withdraw as her lawyer for her bankruptcy case.

He no longer wanted to represent the elderly woman because they “disagreed fundamentally on the direction and the procedure to take,” according to police.

However, the judge denied his request to withdraw from the case.

Couture, who also deals in criminal law, said it was the first time in his 23 year career that he had been attacked or threatened.

When police arrived, Currie was uncooperative and refused to give her name. The elderly woman was arrested and is facing several charges, including aggravated assault with a firearm and resisting an officer.

The attorney has since filed a new motion to be removed as Currie's bankruptcy lawyer.

12-year-old drunk boy leads police on high-speed chase before crashing vehicle into utility pole

(Scroll down for video) A 12-year-old boy was arrested on a charge of drunk driving after allegedly driving drunk and leading police on a high-speed chase, according to police in Texas.

The boy, who was not identified, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failing to stop and render aid, and evading police.

Austin police said that the incident unfolded on Monday around 7:30 a.m. A police officer noticed that a vehicle was weaving in and out of traffic.

The officer attempted to pull over the driver, but he sped up and led police on a high-speed chase. At some point, the driver hit another vehicle head on.

Surprisingly, the boy managed to drive away. Eventually, the boy hit a utility pole, and the vehicle overturned, ending the chase.

Police approached the vehicle, and it was then that they realized the age of the suspect and that he was drunk. He was taken to a hospital after suffering minor injuries.

Cookie Monster stabbed in the back after trying to stop a fight between fighter pilot and American Indian

Police are looking to arrest a man on a charge of assault after allegedly stabbing Cookie Monster, who was trying to stop a fight, according to police in New York.

The New York Police Department said that the incident unfolded on Saturday around 6:00 p.m. in Times Square, where people dress as characters to collects tips from tourists in exchange for photos.

24-year-old Christopher Ramos told police that he dressed as Cookie Monster in order to collect tips from tourists.

At some point, a fight broke out between a 30-year-old man who was dressed as a fighter pilot and a man who was dressed as an American Indian.

Ramos stepped in to try to stop the fight, but the 30-year-old man pulled out a knife and stabbed Cookie Monster in the back.

Ramos was taken to the St. Luke’s Hospital, where he is being treated for a lacerated spleen. The injury is not considered to be life threatening.

So far, no arrests have been made.

Man steals items from Walmart to have money to bail out wife who was jailed for shoplifting

A man was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after allegedly stealing items from Walmart, according to police in Florida.

Winter Haven police said that they have arrested 48-year-old Brian Crume, after being accused of stealing in order to raise money to bail out his wife who was in jail for shoplifting.

He was booked into the Polk County Jail, pending a bail hearing.

“On Wednesday, Crume from Wisconsin, was arrested for stealing three packs of electronic wire from the Walmart located at 355 Cypress Gardens Blvd in Winter Haven.

“When asked why he took the merchandise and didn't attempt to pay, he told the officer that he was going to take the merchandise to try to sell it on the street.

“He needed to raise money to bond his wife out who was arrested earlier in the day in Lake Wales for shoplifting,” the police wrote on Facebook.

Teen records herself choking her baby to scare child’s father who was not paying child support

A teen was arrested on a charge of child abuse after being accused of choking her baby to scare the child's father, according to police in Florida.

Now, 19-year-old Samantha Nicole Salinas of Seminole County, has been sentenced to serve two months in prison after pleading no contest to child abuse.

According to the police investigation, Salinas was angry that the father of her 7-month-old son was not paying child support.

She recorded herself choking her son, and sent the video to the child’s father, telling him to find his dead body in order to scare him.

In the video, the boy cried and appeared to be in distress.

Salinas lost custody of the boy, and he is now staying with his father's parents. Salinas could have been sentenced to five years in prison.

52-year-old man calls police multiple times to report his mother for refusing to buy him food at IHOP

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on a charge of misusing the 911 system after allegedly calling police to complain that his mother refused to buy him food from IHOP, according to police in Florida.

North Palm Beach police said that they have arrested 52-year-old Gerald Anderson, after allegedly calling 911 more than 18 times while he was under the influence of alcohol.

According to the police investigation, Anderson was upset that his mother did not want to buy him food from IHOP. Instead of discussing the issue with his mother, Anderson called police to complain.

If convicted, Anderson faces up to a year in prison and a fine of up to $1,000. Over a two month period, Anderson called police 18 times.

Police came to the scene 14 times. Officers noticed that Anderson was intoxicated every time he called the police. He was warned not to call 911 for non-emergencies, but Anderson ignored them.

Domino’s Pizza ordered to pay $1,200 to customer who waited 18 months for his order

A man who waited extremely long for his pizza order to arrive has decided to sue Domino’s Pizza for compensation, according to court documents in Australia.

Now, 30-year-old Tim Driscoll of New South Wales, will receive $1,203 from Domino’s after the pizza shop chain was found guilty of breach of contract.

According to Driscoll, he ordered three pizza pies and soda one afternoon for himself and his friends, but the food failed to arrive at his home.

After waiting for more than an hour, Driscoll called the restaurant to check on his order. The manager apologized, saying that the store became overwhelmed with orders and offered a refund.

After Domino’s failed to issue a refund, Driscoll sued the pizza chain for breach of contract. Domino’s vowed to appeal the verdict.

14-year-old boy and his 14-year-old girlfriend kill mother and daughter while they were sleeping and celebrate by watching vampire movie

(Scroll down for video) Two 14-year-old kids were arrested on a charge of murder after being accused of killing a mother and her teenage daughter, according to police in the United Kingdom.

Now, the boy and his girlfriend of Spalding, are facing many years in prison after being found guilty of murder in connection with the stabbing death of 49-year-old Elizabeth Edwards and her daughter, 13-year-old Katie.

According to the police investigation, the couple plotted to kill the mother and daughter while eating food at McDonald’s. The court was told that the kids stabbed the mother and her daughter in their throats.

Elizabeth was found with eight stab wounds, while Katie died of blood loss and asphyxiation. Katie was found with a stab wound to the throat and a pillow over her head.

Both were killed while they were sleeping in their beds.

To celebrate the murders, the 14-year-old boy and his girlfriend watched vampire movies for several hours before police arrested them.
