A woman in the United Kingdom, who wanted to clean her house, was shocked to find a snake curled up inside her vacuum cleaner.

The married woman of Boroughbridge, who was not identified, called the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) to capture the snake and take it out of her home.

The incident unfolded on Friday afternoon, when the woman began cleaning home.

At first, the woman noticed the snake in her cupboard, and she thought that her husband was playing a prank on her, but then she saw it move and she freaked out.

By the time a volunteer arrived to capture the snake, it was curled up inside the woman's vacuum cleaner. The snake is in very good condition, leading investigators to believe that it is someone’s pet.

The couple asked the neighbors, but nobody owns a snake. The RSPCA will take care of the snake for a week, and if nobody comes to claim the snake, they will put it up for adoption.

The snake is two feet long.

Police launched an investigation after five drowned cats we found dumped behind a row of houses, according to police in the United Kingdom.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) is appealing for information after the five dead kittens were found in a child’s backpack dumped behind a row of houses in Nottingham.

The bodies of the black-and-white kittens, all thought to be around five weeks old, were found by a woman in Lodgewood Close, on Monday.

RSPCA inspector Kristy Ludlam, who is investigating the incident, said: “This is a very sad incident, which will no doubt shock people who live in the area. The kittens were found just dumped behind a row of houses in a distinctive pink children’s backpack, which had a turquoise zip.

“All of the cats looked to be in a good body condition and had no obvious injury. However, they were soaking wet, which leads us to believe that they may have been drowned as the bag itself was not wet.

“If this is the case, it is likely that these kittens suffered before they died. Drowning is a horrible way to die.

“The River Leen is only a few hundred meters away, so if they were drowned then it is possible that the incident occurred there.”

Damian Bourke of Tasmania, Australia, said that he was at a hotel in Gold Coast, when someone stole his $2,800 laptop.

The man filed a police report. Police noted that there was no forced entry into his hotel room and therefore, Bourke suspected that the cleaner took it, but he had no proof.

Bourke gave up on ever seeing his MacBook Pro again. However, seven months later, he was contacted by someone, saying that she was the new owner of his computer.

In the Facebook message, the person named Almira Cintura, claimed to be a college student from the Philippines. She wanted the owner’s iCloud pin code to unlock it.

Cintura wrote: “What's your 4 digit pincode, message me as soon as you read this, thank you.

“I really need your pincode in order to open the Macbook pro that I just bought online. When I found that it was not new, I tried to return it, but the seller did not respond. I saw your name on the screen.”

The woman claimed that she paid $945 for the Macbook.

Court allows girl to continue sexual relationship with her uncle as stopping her would be bad for her mental health

Josephine Petritz and her uncle
By: Wayne Morin

A couple was shocked when a court ruled that their daughter was allowed to continue dating her uncle over their objection.

The parents’ heartbreak began when their daughter Josephine Petritz of Schildow, Germany, went missing.

Police released a photo of the girl along with a description of her, but they were unable to locate her.

After one year, the 16-year-old red-haired girl was located in France.

The girl revealed to her parents that she ran away with her 48-year-old uncle Gerrit Haager, because she was in love with him.

Haager is the girl’s uncle through marriage. The girl said that she and her uncle began their relationship when she was 14 years old, which is the age that a child can give consent in the country.

The parents, who believed that their daughter was groomed by her uncle, sent her to a psychiatric clinic for several weeks.

However, when she was released, the girl went to court, where she challenged her right to be in a relationship of her own choice.

The Higher Regional Court in Brandenburg, ruled that “prohibiting the love is a threat to the child's well being.”

In addition, the court wrote the while “the relationship may be undesirable and socially ostracized, it is not forbidden and it was important to get the relationship out of secrecy.”

In the decision, the judge also noted that the girl has an “above average intelligent, matured early and knows what she wants.”

Many people expressed outrage over the judge's ruling. One person wrote: “I work with patients with psychosomatic disorders. The courts are there to protect the vulnerable and this girl is clearly a child in need, not a “mature” grown-up woman. The uncle has to be put on a sexual offenders list for life.”

Mrs. Lin
By: Mahesh Sarin

A waiter was jailed and employees were ordered to give a woman cash after she was badly burned for writing a bad review about the restaurant.

A court in China, ordered a restaurant to pay a woman 237,000 yuan ($35,000) in compensation after a waiter poured boiling water all over her body following a dispute.

The woman suffered serious burns to 42 percent of her body.

The shocking incident occurred when the woman, Mrs. Lin, with her family, were having dinner in the Mr Hot Pot restaurant in Wenzhou, along with her mother and her 7-year-old daughter.

During dinner, Lin had an argument with the waiter, who was identified as Zhu, over the amount of water in her hot pot.

After the disagreement, she posted a bad review over the poor service at the restaurant.

Zhu saw the review and demanded that Lin remove it immediately, but she refused. In response, Zhu went to the kitchen and returned with a bowl of hot water.

He poured the steaming hot liquid over the mother’s head before pulling her out of her seat and to the ground, where he beat and kicked her.

Zhu’s coworkers pulled him off the woman and he was arrested.

Zhu was sentenced to 22 months in prison. The judge said he showed leniency because Zhu was only 17 years old at the time of the assault.

Lin also filed a lawsuit against Mr Hot Pot restaurant. She was seeking 577,500 yuan ($85,000) in compensation for her suffering.

The judge said that the restaurant had already paid for Lin's medical treatment and therefore, the award was reduced to 237,000 yuan ($35,000).
