(Scroll down for video) A woman is devastated over the loss of her husband, who she accidentally killed while chasing his mistress.

53-year-old Frances Hall of San Antonio, Texas, did not know that her husband was leading a double life.

She learned about his affair three years after her husband began dating his mistress, Bonnie Contreras.

Contreras said that her lover, Bill Hall Jr., who is a millionaire, told her that he was separated and going through a divorce.

Defense attorney Leigh Cutter said that Contreras, called his wife and told her about the affair when she became mad at Bill for not giving her money for a manicure.

Bill was paying the rent for his mistress and he bought her two luxury cars.

Although Frances was not happy about the affair, she said that she stayed with her husband because “I love him and he is the only man I will love this way.”

Bill’s cousin said that the husband loves Frances with all his heart, but he cheated on her because he liked to get attention from younger women.

Frances and Bill had been married for 34 years. They have two adult children and grandchildren.

Contreras, who said that she was also in love with Bill, decided to taunt his wife. She sent Frances graphic videos of herself and Bill having sex. She also sent the wife degrading text messages.

One day, Frances spotted the mistress driving her family’s Range Rover, and her husband was following his mistress on a motorcycle.

Frances became overwhelmed with rage. She followed Contreras and rammed her Cadillac Escalade into the truck.

However, during her fit of rage, Frances accidentally hit her husband, and he died.

In court, Frances, who faces life in prison, said that she never meant to hurt her husband, whom she loved.

After hearing all the evidence, the jury concluded that the woman's “sudden passion” was a mitigating factor in her guilt in the death of her husband, who was a trucking company tycoon.

Frances was sentenced to two years in prison on one count of murder and two years probation on an aggravated assault charge for hitting the vehicle driven by Contreras. She was also ordered to pay a $10,000 fine.

Contreras is now suing her lover’s family for $2.5 million for the alleged emotional stress she suffered from the car chase.

Frances gave an emotional interview from jail. She said: “The times that he was leading this secret life, he made sure that I was his number one.”
