Two police officers were taken reprimanded after being caught sleeping at a crime scene that they were supposed to protect, according to police in the United Kingdom.

The Metropolitan Police Service (MET) said that two serving officers have been issued with final written warnings, following a misconduct hearing held on Wednesday.

Police Constables Scott Stark and Joynal Miah, who both worked as officers at the Tower Hamlets borough, faced allegations that their conduct amounted to a breach of Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of: “Duties and Responsibilities” and “Discreditable Conduct.”

Both constables were deployed to protect a crime scene and while doing so, it was alleged that at approximately 4:30 a.m., they were discovered on the floor asleep, having left the crime scene and their police equipment unprotected.

In doing so, they behaved in a manner likely to bring discredit to the police service and/or undermine public confidence in it.

A fellow police officer found them sleeping at the crime scene and took photos as evidence. The police officer then filed a complaint with their superiors.

The panel, chaired by an independent legally qualified chair, found the allegations of “Duties and Responsibilities” and “Discreditable Conduct” as proven.

However, in considering all the evidence and mitigation presented to the panel, including that both officers showed genuine insight and remorse for their failings, both had no previous complaints made against them and the risk of repetition of such wholly unacceptable behavior is low, the panel determined the most appropriate outcome to be a final written warning.

The location of the crime scene was not disclosed.

49-year-old Nicholas Tartaglione of Otisville, has been charged for a quadruple murder he committed in Chester.

Tartaglione was charged in a five-count indictment for his participation in a conspiracy to distribute 5 kilograms and more of cocaine and for the murders of Martin Luna, Urbano Santiago, Miguel Luna, and Hector Gutierrez.

Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara stated: “While all murders tear at the fabric of our communities, when the alleged perpetrator of a gangland-style, quadruple homicide is a former police officer, that strikes at the heart of civilized society.

“As alleged, Tartaglione, a former Briarcliff Manor police officer, participated in the senseless murder of four people in a bar in Chester. These four men had not been seen or heard from since the day of their alleged murder.”

According to the criminal complaint, Tartaglione and others conspired to sell five kilograms or more of cocaine.

In April, Tartaglione participated in the killing of Martin Luna, Urbano Santiago, Miguel Luna, and Hector Gutierrez, during that cocaine distribution conspiracy, some of whom were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

How To Get Your Wife To Listen To You

Couple (illustration)
By: Michelle Parker

Every marriage has its ups and downs.

It can get very frustrating when you try to get your wife to hear your side of a discussion, but she is not ready to listen.

Here is one simple trick to get your point across without getting into another fight or disagreement.

Sit down with a pen and paper, and write down what you would like to tell your wife.

This may seem simple and old fashioned, but it is very effective.

Arguing with your spouse can take a lot of time and emotional energy. Writing your point of view on a paper, will eliminate this emotional distress.

Good communication is very important. However, the art of communication deteriorated when we got used to communicating via text messages and social media.

However, those avenues can lead to misunderstandings. Many people have reported issues due to misspelled words or the phone changing words.

When you sit down to write your point on a nice card or a piece of paper, start by telling your wife what she means to you, how she has changed you life in a good way and how much you love her.

Then address the issue at hand. Write it as if you were talking to her.

When you write, you can express your thoughts, feelings, and your point of view without being interrupted by your wife.

End the letter on a positive note with a compliment or a loving message. Sign it and add a smiling heart or smiley face.

You can give her the letter along with a bunch of flowers, her favorite chocolates, or any other treat that she likes.

You can either hand the letter directly to your wife or put it in a place where your wife will find it when she has some quiet time.

Don’t rush to discuss the issue.

Give her time to read and reread your letter or card so she can absorb your message. Wait for her to bring it up and then you can calmly talk to her about it since you have gotten your point across.
