A government official in India, is being slammed for not stopping to help a dying man who was lying on the road following an accident.

The criticism came after photos showing welfare minister Azmeera Chandulal of Telangana, driving past 30-year-old Taduri Madhusudhana Chary, who was dying following the accident.

Chary died on Sunday, after a truck rammed into his motorcycle while he was traveling on a quiet road. The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.

As Chary was dying on the road, Chandulal’s motorcade drove by, but he did not stop to offer any help.

Later that day, Chandulal was asked why he did not stop to help the dying man. He said that he was too busy and was on his way to meet his relatives.
