One of the boys told his mother about the robbery and she called police.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, two 9-year-old boys were selling lemonade when they were robbed.

One of the boys said that they were approached by two teenagers. The teenagers who were identified as Deante Small, 18, and a 16-year-old girl, were not happy with the amount of lemonade the kids gave them.

The teens demanded that the boys go home and bring bigger cups, but the kids refused.

After arguing over the issue, one of the 9-year-old boys became frustrated and he splashed the suspects with water, police said.

This angered the teens, who proceeded to grab the cup of cash, which the children earned from selling the lemonade, and the boy’s iPod.

The kids had $13.53 in the cup. According to police, the teenage thieves used the money at Walmart.

They were later arrested and charged with robbery, battery and petit theft.
