73-year-old man kills three family members during a dispute over money they owed him

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested after he shot his family members because they owed him money.

Police in Fontana, California, arrested 73-year-old Ali Zafar, after he killed three of his relatives and seriously injured another one.

The family reportedly had a longstanding financial issues and Zafar believed that he was owed money.

Police did not disclose the amount of money in question. A neighbor called police after hearing gunshots, and she found an injured man outside of the home.

Through hand gestures, the bleeding man was able to tell the neighbor that he was shot in the mouth twice, by his uncle. He was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

When the officers were called to the apartment at 3:00 a.m, they found two dead women and a man from gunshot wounds.

The victims were Zafar’s nieces and nephews.

Police officers found Zafar walking outside of the home while holding his gun. He was allegedly searching for those who escaped.

He was arrested on multiple counts of murder and attempted murder.
