The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 31-year-old Lisa Luna, after she stole the police car and led officers on a high-speed chase.

Luna has been charged with one count each of theft and endangerment. She was booked into the Maricopa County jail, and her bail has been set at $50,000.

According to the criminal complaint, Luna called police to report that she was raped at a gas station. A deputy arrived on the scene in less than two minutes, and found Luna walking around naked and looking confused.

As he tried to help her and get her a blanket, Luna got into the police cruiser and sped away from the scene. The deputy was knocked to the ground and suffered minor injuries.

A witness offered the deputy his vehicle, and it was used to begin the pursuit. Luna led police on a high-speed chase for more than 70 miles.

Her vehicle reached a speed of 100 miles per hour. After she was caught, she told police that she was high on meth and that she was never raped.

Later, she changed her story again and said that her friend poisoned her.
