Temporary worker tries to stab restaurant owners because they offered him a permanent job

(Scroll down for video) The owners of a restaurant were surprised by the violent response of a temporary employee when he was offered a permanent job, according to police in Florida.

Winter Haven police said that they have arrested 28-year-old Zhong Huang, after being accused of trying to kill Zheng Shan and Jia Bao Dong, who are the two owners of the China Park restaurant.

Huang has been charged with two counts of attempted murder in the second degree. He was booked into the Polk County Jail, and he is being held without bail.

According to the police investigation, the owners of the restaurant hired Huang as a temporary worker with the potential of becoming a full-time employee.

After several days, Shan and Dong decided the hire Huang as a full time employee and asked him for his identification in order to be put on the payroll.

Huang got angry and refused to give his ID. He then grabbed a meat cleaver and began swinging it at the owners. Luckily, the owners managed to escape with just minor cuts.
