(Scroll down for video) A professor was fired after students were offered top grades in exchange for giving money to a specific charity organization.

Dr. Kenneth Vehec, who taught at the University of Central Florida for 14 years, is now out of a job.

The students told school officials that the psychology professor announced that he will allow students to skip writing papers and take exams in exchange for giving up to a $100 donation to his assistant’s charity organization.

Vehec denied the allegations and said that it was all a misunderstanding.

He explained that he gave extra credit to students who were involved in events around the campus.

The university conducted its own investigation and they determined that Vehec allowed students to make charitable contributions as a way to meet academic requirements.
