Man severs artery in his leg while slashing tires of a man who parked too close to his vehicle

A man of Canada, underwent emergency surgery after severing his own artery while trying to get revenge against a car owner.

According to Saanich police, the man was frustrated when another person parked a car too close to his vehicle on Thursday night.

The 37-year-old man from British Columbia, was parked at an arena and he returned to find that vehicle parked too close to his. He was unable to leave, according to police.

Sgt. Jeremiah Leslie said in a press release that the man pulled out a knife to stab the other vehicle’s tires. While doing so, he stabbed himself.

He caused an artery to be severed in his leg. The man attempted to drive himself to the hospital, but when he realized that he was losing too much blood, he called an ambulance, according to police.

The man had to undergo surgery to repair the self inflicted wound. The man may be facing charges over the incident.
