A woman of the United Kingdom, said that she was horrified to learn that she was sexually assaulted after a party while she was drunk.

The woman called police after seeing that the video of the sexual assault was live streamed on Snapchat for all of her friends and community members to see.

Tracie Aldridge waived her right to anonymity after the two suspects got a light sentence.

Aldridge said that she was 19 years old when the assault took place. She was invited to a party in Stirling. After the party, she stayed at the home for the night.

She got into her pajamas, which had short pants, and she fell asleep on the couch. That is when the two men took advantage of her and sexually assaulted her.

She said that the humiliating video showed Fraser Anderson, 22, moving her pajamas to the side and he recorded his friend Jordan Binnie, 22, using a broom to sexually assault her.

Now, Aldridge said that she feels betrayed by the system after the men were allowed to plead guilty to lesser charges and they were given light sentences.

Binnie, who was initially charged with rape with an object, pleaded guilty to sexual assault. He was sentenced to 12 months in prison and he has to register as a sex offender for 10 years.

Anderson, who witnessed the rape and did not stop it but rather live-streamed it, only pleaded guilty to committing a breach of the peace by uploading the footage to Snapchat.

He was sentenced to perform 225 hours of unpaid community service. He was not ordered to register as a sex offender.

“I’m waiving my anonymity because I’m so angry with the light sentences they got, but Fraser took my anonymity the minute he uploaded the video to social media,” Aldridge said.
