(Scroll down for video) A young boy was terrified when his father suddenly slumped over at the wheel of his car.

The boy of Wisconsin, called police and reported that his father “may be dead as he is not responding to anything.”

The 8-year-old boy and his two younger brothers, 4 and 6 years old, were in the car with their father when he parked in a lot that is owned by the Waukesha School Administration.

Police said that the father, 33-year-old Christopher Koeberl, overdosed on drugs after he snorted three Xanax pills with the children in the car.

He then slumped over the steering wheel and he became unresponsive.

Dispatchers in Waukesha, tried to get their location, but the boy had no idea where they were parked. A good Samaritan who passed the car, took the phone from the boy and he was able to give police an address.

Emergency workers revived the father. Police said that the brave boy saved his father’s life by calling for help in time.

33-year-old Christopher Koeberl was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and three counts of child neglect.
