Man shoots neighbor's cat because it looked at him as if it owned the place

(Scroll down for video) An elderly man used a gun to shoot his neighbor's cat because it looked at him the wrong way, according to police in Florida.

Ormond Beach police said that 63-year-old Billy Allen, is facing a charge of animal cruelty after shooting the cat belonging to 60-year-old Hung Nguyen.

According to the police, Allen became angry as the cat was pooping on his property and staring at him. Allen grabbed his gun and shot in the direction of the cat.

The cat was hit once. The car became paralyzed and has to be euthanized. During questioning, Allen said that the cat looked at him as if it owned the place.

He admitted to shooting at other cats in order to scare them away. He denied intentionally shooting the animal. Nguyen said that he still owns and takes care of eight cats.
