A couple was found dead in their home while their two sons were being held in prison over the death of their neighbor.

The couple of Chicago, Illinois, were found dead in their home at 4:00 a.m., after a family member went to check on them.

Police said that a gun was found near the bodies and the deaths appear to be a murder-suicide.

Police believe that Patrick Morgan, 49, shot and killed his wife, Angel Morgan, 42, at their home in the 400 block of Bluff Street in Joliet, before turning the gun on himself.

The deceased couple are the parents of Amari, 18 and Blaique, 20, who were charged with murder of their next-door neighbor, 62-year-old Robert Bielec.

According to the police report, there was an ongoing dispute between the two families when the two brothers confronted Bielec.

Bielec allegedly made a sexual comment about their younger sister. The brothers took offense to the comment.

Amari is accused of grabbing a baseball bat and smashing the skull of his neighbor. Bielec was announced dead at the scene and the brothers were arrested.

Patrick and Angel Morgan had been together for 21 years.

Court records show that Angel had filed for divorce, but then stopped the proceedings four months before her death.
