People in Canada, are angry after learning that a killer and cannibal was released from custody without facing any charges.

Manitoba police said that they have arrested 31-year-old Will Baker, who is also known as Vince Li, after being accused of killing a bus passenger in front of shocked onlookers.

According to the police investigation, Baker was traveling on a Greyhound bus when he pulled out a knife and beheaded 22-year-old Tim McLean.

He then ate part of his body. During questioning, Baker told police that God told him to do so. Baker was not charged as it was determined that he suffers from schizophrenia.

Instead of jail, he was sent to a hospital. Now, the court has released Baker without charges as it was determined that he was no longer a threat to the public.

McLean’s family members slammed the decision, saying that if Baker stops taking his medication, he can kill again. Other passengers who were on the bus during the brutal killing, also criticized the decision, saying that they no longer feel safe.
