A man who dresses up as Mickey Mouse to earn a living by taking photos with tourists, will have to find a new job, according to police in New York.

The New York Police Department said that 52-year-old Lester Mengersen of Clifton, New Jersey, faces charges after being accused of stealing a tourist’s credit card.

Mengersen has been charged with one count of petite larceny.

According to the criminal complaint, a 21-year-old tourist from Tennessee, approached Mickey Mouse on Broadway, on Friday around 8:00 p.m.

Mengersen persuaded the tourists to pay him $120 for a single photo. Mengersen was not happy with the large amount of money, and he stole the tourist’s credit card.

When the tourist checked his bank account on the Internet, he realized that someone charged $310 on his credit card. The tourist called the police, who were able to trace the credit card to Mengersen.
