Man claims girlfriend made up story about assault because he did not want to have sex with her at 5 in the morning

A man who assaulted his girlfriend during an altercation, told police that the woman made up the entire story because she was angry that he rejected her sexual advances, according to police in Michigan.

Battle Creek police said that they have arrested the 33-year-old man, who was not identified, after being accused of punching his girlfriend in the stomach.

The man was charged with one count of domestic violence. The suspect was booked into the Calhoun County jail, pending a bail hearing.

According to the police investigation, the 28-year-old woman woke up on Saturday around 5:00 a.m., and asked to use the car belonging to her boyfriend’s mother in order to get to work.

An argument broke out during which the boyfriend punched the woman in the stomach. The woman ran out of the house and took the car over the objection of her boyfriend.

When she attempted to drive away, the boyfriend grabbed the car. The woman dragged her boyfriend for several feet until he let go.

The boyfriend followed the woman with another car.

When he caught up with her, he again tried to gain control of his mother’s vehicle, but the woman drove away, dragging her boyfriend several feet before he let go.

The woman was eventually stopped by police. The woman told police that she was running away from her boyfriend because he assaulted her.

The boyfriend denied the allegations, saying that she became angry because he did not want to have sex it her at 5 in the morning.

The boyfriend was treated for injuries before being taken to jail.
